Roja Dove at the 2019 Bergdorf Goodman Launch of Roja Parfums Scandal Pour Homme Parfum Cologne and the entire collection via instagram

In his video of Roja Parfums Scandal Pour Homme (2011) recalls the classic aromatic fougeres that his father Samuel wore in the 60s, 70s and 80s. He honored his father Samuel  in his video the Five Fragrances my Father Wore. Last year, Roja Dove launched a new collection of five Parfum Cologne versions of Scandal, Danger, Creation e, Vetiver and Elysium (the originals were all featured in his top ten Roja Parfums video). Editor Sebastian Jara (his new Instagram and page is @theperfumeguy.official) chose to review Roja Parfums Scandal Pour Homme Parfum Cologne, which is more effervescent, fresher with enhanced notes of lemon, oakmoss accord and lavender -Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

  • I always trust Sebastian to show top fragrances. I also have a love for barbershop scents. His descriptions are normally spot on. My favorite Roja is Oligarch followed by Elysium.

  • Amanda32828 says:

Like always I love Sebastian reviews and even though I still don’t owned any Rojas, I hope I do in the near future. I love all fragrances with lemon and petitgrain specially if is a Rojas since the name speak for itself standing for top quality and pure ingredients. Thank you for a opportunity to participate in this draw. Commenting from Orlando, Fl

  • HiMyNameIsWaste says:

A fresh Roja with “loads of lemon” that dries down to a big oakmoss sounds perfect for summer. My favorite Roja is Creation-E.

I live in Nashville, TN, USA.

  • ll grhm I live in USA says:

I live in the USA and have not tried any of the Parfum Colognes. I love all the notes Sebastian listed, especially rhubarb and ambergris. I really love “ultra greens” this sounds very appealing. My favorite Roja Dove perfume is M Puredistance.

  • Sultan Barrett says:

I’m excited to add this house to my fragrance collection. Sebastian’s nose has never let me down.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

As always, Sebastian paints a nice scent picture of this fragrance. I enjoy when he mentions how these types of scents remind him of his dad. I didn’t grow up with my dad so it’s nice to hear of that connection and how scent can trigger memories. I’ve not tried any of Roja’s fragrances…honestly too rich for my blood but I intend to grab some samples in the future. Appreciate the opportunity for the giveaway! Best from Virginia, USA.

  • SocaScents says:

I enjoyed him bringing up his memories about barbershop scents. This is literally the main reason why I Love barbershop scents – my father! He always smells fantastic. I remember him taking me to the barber every week to get a fresh cut. I don’t have a favorite because I never owned nor tried a Roja Parfums Fragrance.

  • Sebastian does a great job introducing many to a broader selection of fragrances than a lot of people would normally ever see. Roja Parfums are very nice and I know Sebastian gives good guidance. Anyone would want Roja Parfums Scandal Pour Homme Parfum Cologne in their collection even just for that fantastic blue bottle!

  • Like his breakdown of the perfume. I have Elysium and love any Roja Parfums that I have smelled

  • I liked Sebastian’s review, the way he describes it as being a more modern take on an aromatic fougere was intriguing. So far my favorite has been Elysium, I’ve only tried that and Vetiver Parfum Cologne. I live in California!

  • My favorite roja is creation e ill be so happy to own this one from. orlando florida.

  • MPfragrance says:

I liked Sebastian’s description of the softness by using the term foamy. It gives a relevant visual to a barbershop scent. I have only sampled the 5 Parfum Colognes from Roja and although I do like them all, my favorite is Scandal.

  • Roderick Moppins Jr says:

I like how Sebastian gave the differences between the two different concentrations. And pointed out that the Parfum cologne is a little more modern.

  • I always like Sebastian’s reviews. And since I love classic fragrances with moss notes, this one sounds great. I’m afraid I don’t have a favorite Roja fragrance as, sad to say, I’ve never sniffed one. I’m in Oklahoma, USA. Thanks for the draw!

  • Love fougere fragrances in general and every Sebastian video makes me want to try them all with his descriptions. My favorite Roja fragrances are Elysium and Danger. From Texas, USA.

  • I liked that Sebastian explained what is different in the Parfum Cologne version than the original Parfum. I also liked that he explained how this one wears differently and seems to be a bit more modern. I very briefly smelled Scandal Parfum Cologne as well as the others at ScentXplore. I do own Elysium Parfum Cologne as of now that and Creation E Parfum Cologne would be my favorites from Roja as I haven’t smelled any others besides the Parfum Cologne line although there are so many I’d love to try. Thanks so much for the generous draw, from CT USA.

  • hautebrother says:

Versatile, Effervescent, & Oakmoss stood out for me during Sebastian’s review of Scandal. I love fougere fragrances and the “foamy” barbershop accord speaks to pure luxury & masculinity. This version of Scandal is definitely brighter and the citrus notes makes it very handsome/refined. I wear Danger and Roja’s various Oud creations. I would be very pleased to add Scandal to my fragrance wardrobe. I’ve tried the Parfum colognes and they’re wonderful.

  • nicoletastan says:

The combination of lemon and lavender sounds very intriguing! Sebastian is very knowledgeable and I enjoy watching his reviews.

  • I find Sebastian’s experience and developed palette offer a consistent & insightful review that is rarely matched, and this is no different. I appreciate the classic Fougère and would love to try Roja’s modern take on it. The lemon opening would make it very wearable in the summer months. I am just discovering Roja fragrances and have not tried any of them…yet. But I am looking forward to it.

  • Sebastian always tells it like it is. His passion for fragrances is infectious. My fave Roja is Enigma but I haven’t tried any of the colognes? Illinois….

  • I thought there wouldn’t be a difference between the cologne parfum and original but I am looking for a freshie and sounds great
    Love lemon

  • Bryan Castater says:

Raja dove is a new fragrance house for me. So far I’ve only tried several sample but from what I’ve tried I love the Roja fragrance house. The quality ingredients and the mixtures of the fragrances are superb. Sebastian and myself have very similar taste in fragrances from what I can see and I love his honesty in his reviews. From his description I know I love scandal I can’t wait to try it and if I was to win the full bottle it would be amazing! It would be my first of many to come. I Love Danger, Enigma and Elysium…these will also be bottles I eventually buy for sure! I live in Mableton, GA.

  • Sebastian’s review are on point and I look up to his review in my buying decisions. Elysium is my favorite although Scandal screams elegance as well. I hope to have at least one ROJA in my collection. I hope I can win this contest. Help me God !

  • Russell Johnson III says:

Sebastian does such a great job of digging into the nose of a fragrance. He lists the notes that are registered and lets us know what he picks up and doesn’t. He makes recommendations based on what he enjoys and is so passionate in his reviews. Danger, Elysium, or Scandal would be my favorite of the line (in order).

  • Shawn Erickson says:

I love Roja Dove Scandel is one of my favorites. I love Sebastian’s reviews I look forward to them each week.

  • Cheryl Gregory says:

I appreciate how clear Sebastian is in this an all of his reviews. Unfortunately, I don’t have a great deal of experience with Roja Parfum. I haven’t tried the Parfum Colognes.
I think that my husband and I would like this one with the fresh sound of it.

  • Mark-Anthony Wright says:

I love barbershop fragrances and Sebastian’s description of the scent is usually spot on. I love Roja scents like Elysium. I live in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

  • twiggy3634 says:

I trust Sebastian and I like that he prefers this version over the original. My favorite Roja Dove is Aoud. I have not tried any of the Parfum Cologne line so hopefully this will be my first. Cheers from Indiana USA

  • Sebastian makes some of the most interesting fragrance content youtube. I’ve enjoyed the 5ml sample of Roja Dove Creation E I got 6 months ago. would love to try scandal.

  • I really enjoy sebastian on the detail and take on his review. He trying to break down all the notes and combination at the best as he can. To summarize his video, a barbershop scent with modern twist. I been lucky enough to try out Elysium and Creation E colognes,as it right now I still think Elysium was up there as the best perfume from the house of Roja, but still it quite a subjective opinion since I like pineapple in a parfum so much.

  • William davis says:

I enjoyed sebastians review and i covet the 10ml decants of roja dove scandal and danger and i hold them very dear to me ..

  • Roberta Olson says:

A fresh, bright fougere sounds perfect for the summer! I’d be perfectly happy with the oakmoss dry down that Sebastian spoke of. But, will it be “bouncy” on me too? That’s what I really want to know. This would be my first Roja Dove experience and I can’t wait. I live in the US.

  • Artemio Ernesto Treviño Gloria says:

Sebastian is an awesome reviewer. Most of my rojas come from his recommendations and interviews with him. Thanks Sebastian for keeping the fragcomm updated and being so kind

  • Sebastian’s review really piqued my interest in this fragrance. He really knows his stuff when it comes to describing fragrances and his take on this scent was very informative and helpful. I really enjoy Elysium from this house but I’ve only smelled a sample of it. Thanks for the great review and the great giveaway. Commenting from Kentucky USA.

  • Trinity33 says:

I love fougeres and I’m always interested in a modern take on the classic scent. A fresher effervescent scent with the addition of rhubarb and lots of citrus notes sounds wonderful for the hotter months. I enjoy Sebastian’s expertise and I appreciated hearing the difference between the various strengths. Commenting from MD, USA.

  • Tom Netherland says:

Sebastian Jara’s review of Roja Parfums’ Scandal inspires a great desire within me to give it a try. His vivid and elaborate description of the breakdown of notes from top to middle to bottom provides me with ample evidence such that yes, I want very badly to win the full bottle. Should I not win, I will be buying this new fragrance from Roja Parfums.

  • Howdy From Texas, USA here. Pour some fougere (spearmint, cardomom, tonka, yummy oak moss!!!!!!!!!!!) – holy scandal of my leanings! Yes yes yes. This sounds incredible. I appreciate light on the florals. Not just that – one of the most elegant bottles I’ve ever seen, some of my favorite colors – reminds me of Yves Klein.

  • Great review of a fascinating scent. I like how he compared the two versions of Scandal. Fougeres are such an interesting family of scents as it can span from “old school” to “modern” depending on the blend. Don’t own a Roja, but would love a chance to participate in the giveaway. Thanks again from WA.

  • sdawg1971 says:

I’m obsessed with Sebastian’s reviews! Learning about Roja’s inspirations make each scent incredibly intriguing Thanks for the opportunity. Sammamish, Washington

  • I love watching Sebastian‘s videos, and have always wanted to try scandal pour homme cologne. Been on the search for the perfect frag for my dad and I really think this will be one that he finally can call his signature! The original Scandal is great and the favorite of mine from the house. I think the added fresh and this will only make it better! Looking forward to seeing the results of the giveaway. Stay safe everyone!

  • I like the comparison of the Parfum Cologne and the original. My favorite is probably creation e, but I haven’t tried any of the Parfum Colognes.

  • Shamrock1313 says:

Tried both and Sebastian’s review explains the fragrance to a T. Does come off mature, but just oozes quality. Just picked up Oceania and it’s complex and gorgeous.
    Pennsylvania USA

  • villaneve says:

I’m a huge fan of “ultra green” fragrances as Sebastian stated, and even more so if it’s a modern take like he described.

My favorite Roja Dove is Fetish Pour Homme Parfum

  • I am intrigued by Sebastian’s assessment of this being “a modern take on a classic fougere.” Even if the notes and Roja’s reputation for quality weren’t enough, I would be interested to smell Scandal based on Sebastian’s editorializing alone. I also appreciate knowing that he wasn’t the biggest fan of the pure parfum version, but that this is much more up his alley.

I have Elysium Parfum Cologne. It is the first time that I have ever tried a sample and immediately decided to buy a full bottle. It is the pinnacle of effervescence, as far as I’m concerned. Absolutely love it.

  • TheArtsTraveler says:

I like Sebastian’s channel especially when he focuses on one fragrance and does a comparison like he did with Scandal. His description was spot on. My favorite Roja Dove fragrance is a tie between Scandal and Danger. I also like Diaghilev. I have tried all of the ones in the Parfum Cologne line except for Enigma. I would like to be entered to win the bottle of Roja Dove’s Scandal Pour Homme Parfum Cologne and I do live in the United States.

  • Alfredo M says:

Always love Sebastian’s input on fragrances and I especially enjoyed the background of his love for fougres like Roja Scandal – it reminds me of my dad while growing up. My favorite Roja parfum cologne so far is Elysium, which is my wife’s favorite on me as well

  • I absolutely love fougeres and when Sebastian mentioned the prominence of oakmoss, he immediately grabbed my attention. I’ve only tried Elysium by Roja and haven’t tried the colognes.

  • Hashim Madani says:

What struck me is the ‘foamy, fluffy’ side of Scandal Parfum Cologne. Sebastian describes this fragrance as ‘very lemony’ and I agree with him that citruses tend to be sharp; so the foamy, fluffy, airy twist makes this fragrance appealing to me. Haven’t tried any Parfum Cologne, but the original Creation E (Enigma) is to die for. VA, USA.

  • I always associated Roja Dove with big powerful fragrances. I didn’t know he did anything in this vein. Thanks for the review, Sebastian! USA

  • I like how he gave detailed information of the note breakdown and compared it to the Pour Homme version. My favorite Roja is ELYSIUM

  • vickalicious says:

I found it very interesting how Sebastian described the oakmoss in this fragrance giving a “foamy, fluffy” sensation. I was also intrigued by his description of this being a more modern, and perhaps easier to wear fougere. Out of the Roja Dove fragrances that I have tried, Danger parfum cologne is my favorite.

  • Luis Angel Grisales says:

I love scandal and Danger for Rojas’ Perfumes Colognes Edition. They all are very persistent. My Favorite Roja is Creation E ParfumZ I live in Miami, Fl

  • Luis Angel Grisales says:

My favorites on this edition are Danger and scandal, they are so beautiful bright an persistent. My favorite Roja is Creation -E Parfum. I live in Miami,Fl

  • I love the extent to which Sebastian goes to describe a note like the oakmoss being soft like shaving cream 🙂 I love Creation-E/Enigma and Elysium from Roja Dove and would be stoked to try out Scandal Pour Homme Parfum Cologne. Thank you for the review and the giveaway. I’m subbed to Sebastian’s channel and I’m in USA

  • NiceVULady says:

I am always a fan of Sebastian’s reviews. I’ve never tried any of the Roja parfums or colognes, and this sounds lovely. I would really like to win it so that I could give it to my son for his birthday. It sounds like something he would really enjoy. Many thanks to Sebastian for his review and thanks to Eden Square for this most generous draw. I’m in the USA

  • I really enjoy watching Sebastian’s reviews on YouTube. I enjoyed his use of images while reviewing the scent notes in the fragrance. I haven’t tried any Roja Parfums products yet, but I am a big fan of Fougère fragrances. The rhubarb note sounds like a great twist on a classic scent profile. Based on this review, I will definitely be purchasing a decant.

  • Bryant Worley says:

I always like Sebastian’s reviews. He is always detailed. And when he’s enthused, that makes the review even better. i have yet to try a Roja Parfum, or the colognes, so help me get started. I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.

  • Steve Miranda says:

I love Sebastian’s reviews and how descriptive he is. I’ve tried all the parfum colognes through decants and I must I like Danger and Scandal the most. Thanks for your consideration!

  • immortano26 says:

When Sebastian reviews a fragrance i can always smell it! Great job. I can’t take part in a giveaway, but good luck everyone!

  • Fougeres are my style as I wear fragrances for me :).

Hoping to win the full bottle. Texas, USA.

  • I love barbershop fragrances and Sebastian’s description of the scent is Excellent. Lemon with lavender and oak moss sounds amazing. I live in New York

  • Finer Things says:

I have yet to come upon a fragrance from Roja Dove that does not captivate me. My favorite being the exquisite Vetiver Pour Homme. Sebastian’s review of Scandal has me prematurely captivated 🙂 My fingers are crossed!

  • Hugo adam says:

I love Elysium, then I bought Creation-E when the four bottles were release and got a sample of the rest. I like Scandal compared to Vetiver and Danger. Just got my full bottle and definitely enjoy it this summer! Nice review as usual, thanks!

  • Bacuzzi Babs says:

btw, your review of their Parfum Cologne line convinced me to get some of them though i already had some of their Parfums (Scandal, Danger Elysium) 🙂 You should review their bespoke line next! 😛

  • Brayton Beanland says:

Thanks for reviewing. I actually tried a decant of this yesterday and really enjoyed it. The opening is intense with the lemons and spearmint. I like that this fougere would really work in the warm weather.

  • naomi rooney says:

Great review! I like your use of images when discussing the scent notes. I am a big fan of Fougère fragrances also. I definitely need to give this one a try.

  • tridungnguyentdn says:

Another great and very descriptive review. I have only been able to try the parfum colognes so far. I like Scandal a lot, probably since I enjoy fougeres. My favorite fougere is Amouage’s Bracken Man.

  • tridungnguyentdn says:

Another great and very descriptive review. I have only been able to try the parfum colognes so far. I like Scandal a lot, probably since I enjoy fougeres. My favorite fougere is Amouage’s Bracken Man.

  • Johnny Brown says:

It sounds to me like this is right up my ally. Love a fresh fougere. Can’t wait to try this one out. Although, I haven’t smelt a bad Roja fragrance yet. Great video sabastian as ever, thank you. Stay safe my friend

  • Tony Duncan says:

Would love to be able to afford this fragrance. Your description makes it sound wonderful!

  • Bailie Babbage says:

Love scandal and danger i have 10ml decants of both and are verrry coveted amongst my collection.. Fingaz crossed for that bottle

  • Derrik Owen says:

Great review! I love several of the Roja fragrance. I don’t have any bottles yet, I’ve only smelt samples. Definitely on my long list of fragrances to get.

  • henry cole says:

I did try this a while ago and I remember that I wished the top notes would last a bit longer, the perfume somehow for me turned to the base notes too fast and the lovely freshness should always be there up front throughout the life of the perfume. but I might have to get more samples to understand more of it

  • Barron Davie says:

I wish to own at least one ROJA in my collection. I am on the fence between Elysium and Scandal . I am sucker for CITRUS FRAG mixed with herbs I hope I am lucky on this . Thanks a lot Sebastian

  • This is the best channel of fragrances for sure!!! I enjoyed this vid and how u compared the Parfum Cologne to the original Parfum and explained how they wear differently. I smelled the whole Parfum Cologne line briefly at ScentXplore but they r the only Rojas I’ve smelled so far. I own Elysium P.C. and I loved Creation E P.C. as well but the entire line was really nice, Scandal P.C. probably being my next favorite after the 2 I mentioned and perhaps tied with Danger P.C. Thanks Sebastian.

  • Hadley Farlow says:

Wow this cologne is stacked with notes. That bottle is my favorite color gotta give this one a try. Definitely intrigued by this house

  • Kenny Clinton says:

Great review and I enjoyed it. I need to smell more Rojas I have never tried any Roja fragrances, but i love lemon so i will have to give it a try.

  • sheldon butt says:

I like the scent, but wouldn’t wear it to impress someone. I like old school scents, but i need to find the right occasion to wear this.
Reminds people too much of a dad-scent with the old school shaving creams. And it reminds me of my dad as well.

  • Baxter Bartlett says:

I love Vetiver and Elysium. Definitely gonna buy a second bottle of both. Definitely love Danger and Scandal but I don’t think I’ll be buying a second bottle. Don’t get me wrong. They’re very good but not $290 good. They’re a little too close to old-fashioned aftershaves.

  • Brazier Beard says:

Have you tried Jovoy L’Art de la Guerre? Trying to get a sample before buying it because it’s another good fougere. Do you like Scandal more than Fougere Royale because that seems to be the fougere most seen and talked about in your videos.

  • Mark Reagan says:

After watching this video I went to my local Neiman Marcus to check it out… You’re right on the money, what an incredible fragrance, I had to buy it

  • Bayntun Beavers says:

Fougere Sebastian back at it with another fougere review. I would defiantly agree that the few Roja Parfums fragrances I’ve had the pleasure of smelling really shine as they dry down and they really last after that too.

  • David Cooper says:

Scandal gets very masculine on my skin. Scent so beautiful, crafted with great skill. Maybe it can fall into cyphre category.

  • myquyenle says:

This sounds wonderful I’m glad it’s something your like Nice notes yes lots going on. Great blend. Thank you for this review.

  • tronghieubui says:

Wonderful Review Sebastian!! Roja definitely has so much quality:)This sounds absolutely incredible! My only exposure to this house is Elysium, but I would love to get my nose on this!

  • hayden thomas says:

I love how Sebastian goes into detail of the fragrance and breaks it down for those of us who are new to this world. Would love to own one Roja at least because I don’t have any in my collection and the fragrance which transports me to my youth is Gucci Envy.

  • rowanatkinsonbui says:

I love the video and how he breaks it down the different accents it definitely sounds like a fragrance i would try. Fan of fougere and Roja in general…can’t wait to get my nose on this one. Shout out to Sebastian for a great review.

  • congressman says:

The aromatic fougere is by far my most beloved fragrance genre. I love the way they make me feel: clean, gentlemanly, and confident. My two favorites at the moment are Margiela’s At The Barber’s, as well as 1725 from Histoires de Parfums. Roja’s Scandal has been on my to-smell list for some time now, and I’d love to have chance to mark it off the list! Sebastian has further hooked me with his impassioned review, as he often does.

  • richard william says:

Sebastian does really love his fougeres I have noticed. I see how something you smell in your youth and influence what you end up enjoying as you get older. One perfume I remember when I was very little was Aqua Di Gio worn by my older brother. While I’m close to my brother and liked smelling it back then I find nowadays I’m not a big fan of aquatics. I still get a little nostalgic when I smell it and I even own a bottle of the newer Profumo edition, it doesn’t quite trigger my nostalgia like the original.

  • Sebastian’s delivery of the attributes of Scandal is nothing short of exquisite…mirroring the quality if this parfum cologne. I can almost smell the fragrance from his pronouncements and the way he breaks down the scent profile. Looking forward to wearing it one day.

  • Great job, Sebastian, as always!!
I have tested 2 or 3 times Scandal pour Homme Parfum and find it very elegant citrusy-chypre. And I am intrigued by Sebastian video- need to test Scandal fresh version for more younger audience. I am not familiar with new Parfum Cologne seria.
    US

  • I love Roja! I like everything I have tried from this house. Sebastian gives the most in depth detail of any and all fragrances he reviews. My favorite Roja thus far is Elysium. US.

  • mikebkirby says:

Any time Sebastian reviews fougeres his experience and passion really show. Those types hold a lot of memories

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s comparison between the parfum cologne and the parfum versions, which is very useful when considering which version to purchase. My favorite Roja is Creation-E.

  • Never tried this one, and don’t own a fougere! I like the sound of the brightness relative to the original

  • Juan Flores says:

I Love Sebastian’s reviews. His description on the notes compared to the original Scandal Pour Home Cologne and Pour Home Parfum Cologne seem spot on. I just started trying more mature colognes/Parfums and unfortunately haven’t tried any Roja Parfums. I am excited!! to have an opportunity to own a “Roja Parfums Scandal Pour Homme Parfum Cologne”.

  • Such an exciting giveaway from a spectacular house. I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews and often share similar tastes. His description of a fresh, modern take on a classic fougere captured my interest and was my favorite part of this review. My favorite from Roja Dove so far is Elysium but I have not yet experienced any from the new Parfum Colognes collection. I would like to add that the color of Scandal’s bottle is gorgeous. Thanks for hosting this generous giveaway.

  • Haven’t tried the new Parfum Cologne line, but my fav from Roja has always been Enigma edp. Kind of feel like “loads of lemon” should be the new LOL though. I do love the sound of bitter petitgrain too. Must be a true barbershop if the feel is foamy. Seems that ‘classic but modern is the new trend’! No complaints here. USA

  • From Sebastian’s review, it seems that Scandal has some similarities to Eau Sauvage, a classic. USA

  • isaaclopedia says:

I’m a big fan of Sebastian’s youtube reviews. I liked his description of the “foamy” oakmoss vibe. I’ve never smelled this before, but I like elysium by this house. I’m a big fan of fougeres and anything with a strong lemon fragrance immediately piques my interest. I haven’t tried the rojas colognes.

    I’m in California

  • I have several Roja frags, including Scandal pour homme, and i’ve been wanting to add a perfume cologne to the arsenal. Scandal sound like the one. Definitely sounds like the parfum with an added pop. Great for the Texas heat. Looking forward to it.

  • What can I say about Sebastian, I love he’s reviews and enjoy the depth of them. He helped me to know and love alot of notes.
Unfortunately I never tried any of Roja Parfums, it cost to much.
    New Jersey

  • I would love to try out this perfume! Thank you always for your reviews Sebastian

  • Sampled some of these recently and thought they were lovely and i mostly prefer the lighter versions as sometimes the originals can overwhelm me. Now live in CT Usa as of this week!!

  • The idea of an easier to wear Scandal with more focus on sparkling lemony notes than the herbal aromatic aspects sounds appealing. My favorite Roja Parfum is Enigma. Thanks for the review.

  • Andrew Panov says:

Sebastian is by far my favorite YouTube reviewer! He is so knowledgeable and has a unique appreciation of the world of fragrance. Anyone who uses the words like “bouncy” in describing a particular note, is a master! I am not familiar with the house of Roja so am looking forward to perhaps an introduction through this draw.

  • An absurdly overrated fragrance in my opinion, but it is better than danger, which was just not very well done. Roja going downhill?? Maybe. Oligarch is my favorite Roja at the moment.

  • Wander D. Cristian says:

When I’m looking for a review I always go to Sebastian as his reviews are always key factors when it comes to buying or not a fragrance. I have tried Vetiver, danger, enigma and Elysium. My favorite is definitely enigma Parfum cologne

  • Always loving Sebastian’s review! It is so informative and detailed and well-presented. I dont own any Rojas yet, but I hope to get some in the future!
    Florida, USA

  • I love the scent of lemons, so would really love to try this fragrance. I’m glad that Sebastian mentioned that it is a bit fresher and more modern than the classic fougeres. I also think Sebastian really explains the notes well, especially when comparing oakmoss to a sort of “foam”. My favorite Roja is Amber Aoud. Would love to have a bottle of this! From NJ, USA.

  • Enjoyed Sebastian’s review. The extra lemon In the opening sounds good. His reviews are great. Describes fragrances well. Don’t have a favorite Roja yet since I haven’t tried much of Roja. Thanks, Ca

  • diegopineda says:

What I enjoyed the most of Sebastian’s video review about this fragrance is the note breakdown. He is always very thorough.

My favorite Roja parfum is enigma parfum cologne.

    From Fl, USA

  • Sebastian is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about fragrances, which always helps make for an enjoyable viewing experience. The things I enjoyed most about this review are that he covered all the listed notes and he compared the Parfum Cologne version to the original. I have tried all of the Parfum Colognes and this particular fragrance, Scandal Parfum Cologne is actually my favorite Roja Parfum that I have tested, with Danger Parfum Cologne coming in as a close second.

  • chrisskins says:

Fougeres are my favorite masculines and a bright barbershop in Roja Dove’s hands is a must-sniff. Sebastian differentiates succinctly between the parfum and the new parfum colonge concentrations and prefers the latter, which is kinder to the pocketbook. I’d love to smell this on my sons and myself. I have and cherish the Roja body creme, so decadent. I live in the USA.

Sebastian always has great content. His description with the Lemon and Bergamot opening, then the Oakmoss dry-down sounds really good. I’m a big fan of both Elysium and Danger.

  • My S.O. would love this scent! I enjoyed Sebastian’s description of this. We don’t own any Rojas currently but this could be our first!

  • I enjoyed Sebastian description very much . I like fougere perfumes and have read that Scandal PH are very similar to Dior Eau Sauvage. I understood that this one fresher and more citrusy version of Scandal PH Parfum. So it will be just suitable in this summer days. I try only Elysium Cologne, and I like it, but projection was disappointed me. I have read Danger and Enigma Colognes have great sillage.

  • What I enjoyed about Sebastian review? Everything plus both Michelyn and Sebastian enthusiasm.
Obviously it’s a special one for both. Fresh but classy and sophisticated. Being a barber I have to try it.
I only know 3-4 Roja fragrances .From the familiar ones my favorite one is Elysium Pour Homme Parfum , but at the end I got the Cologne version. Even though I prefer both the bottle and the smell of the Parfum , price difference between the two is BIG.
Such a nice draw. Thank you all.

I thought it very interesting for Sebastian to give room for both styles of fragrances. I appreciated that this is a fresher fragrance, but essentially built from a strong foundation. I also appreciate a fragrance that is a somewhat mellowed down version from a beast mode, or nearly so, fragrance. I haven’t had an opportunity to sample any Roja fragrances, but it is a goal of mine to do so!

Thanks so much for this opportunity! I live in New Hampshire USA!

  • I have watched dozens and dozens of Sebastian’s videos. One of the greatest things about his reviews is his enthusiasm about fragrances he loves. His nose is one of the best I know in terms of number of fragrances he has tried and described. I also think he is wonderful because he brings on great guests to share their impressions too, and the audience gets to see how different fragrances can smell on each person. He is approachable, kind, and simply loves what he does.

His using a fragrance to evoke childhood memories is what some of the greatest writers and Noses have mentioned whether it is Proust or Roja Dove.

I have tried a number of Roja Dove fragrances and own 4 bottles, one of which is the legendary Diaghilev. This is the epitome of a fragrance which has the capacity to metamorphosize beautifully continuously over many hours with just one or two sprays. It was a big investment, but I have been wearing it during Covid isolation in the US as it is a mythically great beast.

I have tried samples of Creation-E and Elysium but would love to have a bottle of Scandal.

  • I love the idea of an effervescent fougere! I have never tried any of Roja’s parfums, but this sounds like an excellent introduction.

  • patrick_348 says:

I like the idea of a fougere that is keyed toward summer wear. I usually think of them as being for spring, fall or winter. As usual, Sebastian gave a good sense of what the experience of wearing the scent is like. I have never tried a Roja Dove fragrance, although they are talked about all the time. In the US, in NC.

  • Uncle1979 says:

What a high level perfumery Roja Dove is . Sebastian review of Scandal made really curious. I need to dig in more into Roja fragrances. Some lavender fragrances can lean into mature territory, and I’m glad Scancal Cologne edition is up to date.
Creation E I’m happy to have. When i think about it, i imagine hard to get invited into private gentleman’s club , with cognac and tobacco all over it.
Since I’m a Pastry Chef I can’t decide what my favorite Roja fragrance is Sweetie Aoud, or Creation E. Maybe I slightly prefer Sweetie Aoud 🙂
Parfum Colognes i have not tried yet .
Appreciate the review , and the giveaway campaign

  • To me Roja Dove is epitome of niche, and high end perfumery.Adventurous, classy ,different fragrances going through different phases.Sebastian is obviously super impressed by Roja fragrances, and we know he’s right. Almost feels like hе is somehow connected with this brand, like it was made for him.
As for Roja Dove the only one I have the pleasure of owning is Elysium Pour Homme – the blue bottle, but because of Sebastian excitement I really want to sample Scandal Cologne.Being a woman i actually like fresh and herbal fragrances.
Thank you Sebastian for the fine work, and Europerfumes and Çafleurebon for the gorgeous draw. Whoever wins will be really lucky and happy. Hopefully it would be me. USA

What I liked about Sebastian’s review is how he described it as foamy or fluffy. While I’ve never heard that as a way of describing a fragrance, I think I understand what he means, especially when he equated it to a shaving cream. It sounds like a great fragrance and the bottle is beautiful, as is the whole line. Elysium is probably my favorite Roja. I’m in Illinois, USA for the contest.

  • Michael Prince says:

Sebastian, I loved your review on Roja Scandal Parfum Cologne. I like how Sebastian describes this as a fougere with a modern touch that tones down some of the aromatic notes. My favorite Roja Parfum is Creation E Enigma. I have tried the Parfum Colognes in Vetiver, Creation E, and Elysium. I am from Ohio, USA.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian style of description!! I like Roja parfums very much, especially Enigma PH, Danger PH. I tried Scandal Pour Homme 2 times and felt in love with its lemony, delicate chypre
y fougere heart. Unfortunately, I have never try Cologne seria, besides Elysium, which did not impress me so much.

I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews…I love how he described fragrance…I have not tried Roja Fragrances, but would love to.

  • abbie road says:

I would love this on my husband and possibly myself. Sebastian is always a joy to watch. I have many favorite Rojas but never experienced Scandal. USA

  • Loved Sebastian’s review. I really enjoy fougere scents. This sounds so fresh. The concentration of lemons and oakmoss sounds wonderful. I’ve never tried any of the Roja line.
    I live in the USA.

  • I have smelled the whole Roja Dove line. I really believe Roja’s Amber Aoud is a masterpiece that I own. I just learnt about the parfum colognes though this post. Sebastian mentioned the Scandal cologne version is much fresher and less herbal. That’s something I can use this summer.

  • doveskylark says:

Give me all the lemons! I love all those old classic fougeres. This sounds so fresh and sparking. And the lavender, spearmint, and tarragon notes sound very special. Yes, I understand what Sebastian means about the foaminess of the oak moss. Yes, indeed, very mature sounding. I haven’t tried anything from this house.

  • miguelm33 says:

I always love watching Sebastian’s reviews and the way he describes the perfume is so accurate as I have tried Scandal parfum cologne. For the hotter months of the year I enjoy wearing Elysium parfum cologne. During the cooler months I enjoy wearing Creation E.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s review as I always do. His description of Scandal made me wonder if there are some similarities to Halston Z14, especially with the lemon, spices, oakmoss, etc. Haven’t tried Roja Parfums, yet. Scandal, and others in the series, sound lovely. Thanks for the review and the draw. Writing from the USA.

  • I enjoyed the comparison and also evaluating it on its own merits. I also like how he describes it as a fresh fougere, but very classic-feeling at the same time. It really does sound good for summer. I have not tried anything from this house. I live in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway.

Roja Dove sure knows his job , no wonder almost all fragrance enthusiasts puts him on such pedestal.
My favorite Roja Dove is Amber Aoud Absolue Precieux. Mesmerizing scent , but the price tag for 30ml bottle is ….. way too much for me. Let’s put it this way . Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne is my go out fragrance .
I have not even heard of Scandal before , but i’ll gladly wear it. I’m in tailoring business, and such throwback to the classics fragrance I could wear while working with clients.
    Thanks , USA

As a said a couple of times Sebastian to me is the best reviewer , both on YouTube and on Cafleurebon . Bought over 40 niche fragrances because of him. All Roja fragrances I have smelled are deep , and never linear , my expectations of Scandal Cologne are really high now.
Risque for men is in my possession – phenomenal scent , and the best Roja Dove fragrance i’m familiar with , and one of the best fragrance i’ve ever smelled. It’s marketed for men only, but it’s 100% unisex to me-as a woman i don’t have a problem wearing it.In US is known as Creation R….don’t know why?!?
Just like Risque, Scandal Cologne some may consider strictly for males, but to in perfumerie there’s no such thing, wear what you like.
    I don’t think I’ve smelled Colognes before.
Nice draw, no wonder so many people are entering.
    Cheers from VA

Scandal Pour Homme , Parfum Cologne i have no experience with. Leaning mature doesn’t bother me, I think it would be a more upscale occasions fragrance, a date with a special lady maybe.
Favorite Roja Dove Vetiver Pour Homme , Parfum Cologne and Creation-E Parfum . Both I’m a huge fan of. Vetiver Pour Homme , Parfum Cologne is the one from the Cologne line I know.

Highly enjoyable video as usual. I just love Sebastian’s passion for high quality fragrances , follow him since the early days of his old Youtube channel called “Man Loves Cologne”.
Especially liked the comparison between Scandal Parfum, and Parfum Cologne. Roja Dove fragrances I’m a fan of-own 2 bottles Enigma Parfum and vintage Bergamot Extrait , and i want so much more.
I have smelled all Cologne versions yes .a

  • Love Roja Parfums and it would be an absolute dream to own Scandal. Really a top class barber shop smell. Fantastic review by Sebastian as always.

  • Nothing like a classic fougere to start the day or end it! Cant wait to get my nose on this one…the combo of lavender, basil and taragon are a great twist to the this genre.
Im hoping to add some competition to my Sartorial bottle.
Sebastian is totally on point with this review!
