The Different Company New L’Esprit Colognes Kâshân Rose, South Bay, and White Zagora

LEsprit Colognes 2013

Founded in 2000, The Different Company has developed over time, with some of the most renowned perfumer composers like Jean-Claude Ellena, Céline Ellena and Bertrand Duchaufour, a unique line of Haute Parfumerie and unforgettable fragrances.

In 2012, The Different Company reinvented the traditional genre of Eau de Cologne in its new line L’Esprit Cologne with four new fragrances, “Tokyo Bloom”, “Sienne d’Orange”, “Limon de Cordoza” and “After Midnight”.

Today, in 2013, still with perfumer Emilie Coppermann; The Different Company presents three new additions to this amazing Collection.

The Fragrances

Emilie has created a very coherent set of 3 fragrances which drive us onto unknown although familiar olfactory territories. The Sprit is very much Cologne, the concentration is Eau de Toilette and the creation remains a perfume.

Kâshân Rose
Spectacular, sophisticated, unexpected

The Eternal East

A surprising fragrance, this floral eau de toilette embodies a Persian Rose, celebrated during a Rose Festival in May in the city of Kashan, the first oasis in the region. The scent comes along with fruity and spicy fresh head notes (lychee, cardamom and Rose Berries). The floral heart unveils a sublime Rose which reflects a thousand years know how. The ambrette seed bring altogether a reassuring and enveloping angle. Its softness is widely appreciated in the Far East, land of wisdom.
TOP: Cardamom – Sage – Pink Peppercorn– Lychee
HEART: Rose – Hawthorn – Peony
BASE: Ambrette Seed – Sandalwood – Musk

South Bay
Sunny, vibrating, intense

A party fragrance in Miami

Intensely sparkling, this eau de Toilette unveils a woody architecture behind its fresh head notes. The heart is based on the Grapefruit wood which brings backbone to the perfume. A touch of daim in the bottom notes splendidly underlines the Sandalwood.
TOP: Grapefruit – Mandarine Leaves – Tamarine
HEART: Grapefruit tree – Eglantine – Freesia
BASE: Sandalwood – Vetiver – Daim

White Zagora
Luminous, sparking, sensual

A fresh oasis

This sensual oriental fragrance is based on an Orange Flower accord and brings us to a land, far far away…The spicy start unveils a round and sensual heart notes combination around the Orange Flower which gets dressed by a duo of Tuberose and Peach Flower. The amber-musk accord in the bottom notes sustains the sensuous notes of the fragrance.

TOP: Neroli – Citrus – Bergamot
HEART: Orange Blossom – Peach Flower – Tuberose
BASE: Osmanthus – White Musk – Amber

The Perfume Composer

Emilie Coppermann

Because of her love for flowers, Emilie has discovered her passion for fragrance when she was 14 years old. She realized she wanted to live in a harmonious and beautiful scented universe, therefore she studied organic chemistry and attended the International Institute of Perfumes, Cosmetics & Aromas in Versailles.

For Emilie, being a perfumer is more than a vocation, she is totally committed to the realm of fragrances and transmits her creativity through her creations. Her talent for perfumery lies in her playful, unconventional nature, her sense of exploration and her bold, fearless approach to experiment something new, like twisting masculine codes with feminine codes with her fragrances.

Emilie relies on her feminine intuition, the power of her dreams, her determination and sense of realism to inspire her fragrances. She also has a passion for India and exploring her hobby in black and white photography.

i notice the companies are paying more attention to liquid colors, as if to send visual messages..many companies have products that together look like a rainbow

  • I love TDC….these sound like they would be nice summer additions. I purchased Tokyo Bloom recently which is a great one for summer. Love the colored fragrances also.
