  • I’m excited to get another chance at winning Tudor Rose. Hope I’ve followed the directions correctly:

Sumatera: “One can’t help but feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle while wearing Coquillete Sumatera, with the heady and fragrant ripened air casting a spell from the very first spritz.”

  • Tan tan: “How must the ocean smell when you are looking at it from the heat of the desert, when the caked dust is in your nostrils, and the plants around the oasis are baking in the sun? It must smell like this.”

  • “Sumatera emits the aromas of unfamiliar plants and florals that will soon give way to the dampness that ripen then decay in humid heat.” I’m in the U.S., thanks for the second chance!

  • Moramanga: “A bit of benzoin bubbles out from between the florals eventually a sweet vanilla picks up the sweet from the benzoin and intensifies it into something which contrasts the flowers. ”
I’m in the US. Thanks for the draw!

  • Sumatra opens with a deceptively voluminous Jasmine which is pricked by black pepper as the perfume grows sweetly spicy with cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla.

  • Sumatera opens with a deceptively voluminous Jasmine which is pricked by black pepper as the perfume grows sweetly spicy with cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla. I live in the us

  • Tan Tan: This journey to Morocco starts in the south of Italy, with energizing bergamot and pine. Soon, though, there is a wonderfully earthy fig note that appears. It is not milky or especially green; more like it would smell sitting under a fig tree full of ripening fruit in high bright heat. There is an interesting quality of dust. We have reached the Moroccan desert. I live in the US, thank you for another fabulous draw 🙂

  • Tan Tan: How must the ocean smell when you are looking at it from the heat of the desert, when the caked dust is in your nostrils, and the plants around the oasis are baking in the sun?

I am in the US, thank you 🙂

  • Sumatera: ” Narcotic flowers and creamy woodiness lead to a dreamy hypnosis before I am taken to a foreboding jungle where behind beauty lurks unforeseen danger that stalks you like an elusive tiger. ” I am in the US. Thanks!

  • Sumatera was my favorite of these original four because of the use of green patchouli which feels like patchouli which has not had the chance to mature.
    I live in the US.

  • You might think from the notes that Sumatera is best suited to the fall and winter….Remember that it never grows cold in the Sumatran jungle so the heat of the summer is the perfect time to wear this perfume.

Thanks for the fabulous draw, everyone! I’m in the US.

  • thanks for the lovely draw. My quote comes from Tan-Tan’s review, “Tan-Tan, was inspired by the Moroccan city and port of the same name. With guardian camel sculptures flanking the road leading to town, Tan-Tan is a desert oasis with close proximity to the Atlantic. ”

  • I thought this line from the Sulmona review was very sensual: “A sugar frosting vanilla is where Sulmona begins and after you figuratively lick the frosting off you get to a heart of green vanilla orchid.” Also sounds a but yummy, I am in the US, thank you for the draw.

  • another Sulmona quote:”The third application of vanilla uses orange blossom to lighten it up and keep Sulmona from being too heavy. ”
I am in Israel, thanks for the draw

  • Herat: ”Where Herat differs from those other fragrances is that the hashish accord rendered in Herat is like the remnants of the evening before and that same effect of feeling like the notes and accords are coming from hours ago is carried through with the inclusion of tobacco and jasmine in some of the sheerest applications of both of those notes I have experienced in a while. ”
I’m in Russia. Thanks for the draw!

  • Herat…Think about what I’ve just described a perfume comprised of hashish, tobacco, and jasmine and my first adjective is sheer.
    What a great second chance!
    I am in Australia

  • “From vast jungles to rising volcanoes, Sumatera still remains steeped in mystery.  Valleys filled with constant rains give rise to heated fertile ground that allows for the creation of the perfect rice terraces.   But this fertile land also feeds the green, climbing, choking vine and plant life which hide the many creatures that inhabit  the land and which only will reveal themselves with glowing eyes and ferocious cries that fill the eternal pitch black of the sweltering night.”
I am in the EU. Thanks for the second chance!

  • “MORAMANGA pulls off this concept while using tuberose as its heart. Gardenia starts things off and then tuberose supported by jasmine rise up.” I,m in Europe.

  • ” Herat swirls and captivates as myrrh and frankincense along with ambergris and vetiver are also incorporated in the pattern.”
    I’m in the EU.

  • Sumatera review September 25, 2013: “It is patchouli that tells inappropriate knock-knock jokes and when it meets up with cinnamon and black pepper this rowdy trio seems likely to spiral into a fragrance version of a slapstick comedy….except it doesn’t.”

I’m in the Netherlands. Thanks for this second opportunity.

  • Meganinstmaxme says:

Moramanga … the supporting players reveal themselves slowly and provide a day’s worth of enjoyment as the development is languid and fun. I’m in the EU. Thanks for a shot at the draw.

  • Tan Tan:” It is complex and intriguing, and unlike any of the other fig scents I have worn. It is more human, with the far drydown growing almost animalic from the woods and touch of leather. ”
    I’m in the U.S.
    Thank you for the draw!

  • “Remember, it never grows cold in the Sumatran jungle, so the heat of the summer is the perfect time to wear this perfume.”
Great draw! Thanks! I live in the US.

  • From the Sumatera review: “Narcotic flowers and creamy woodiness lead to a dreamy hypnosis before I am taken to a foreboding jungle where behind beauty lurks unforeseen danger that stalks you like an elusive tiger.”
    Woah. I’m in the US.

  • Amazing chance!

From Sulmona’s review: “This Madagascar vanilla has that slightly green aspect, and less of the sweet, by pairing bitter almond with it.”

I’m in the EU, Croatia. Thank you.

  • “But as with Herat just as you might expect Moramanga to really crank it up it goes sideways and stays at a perfectly pitched level of white flowers realized as if they are across the room instead of right under your nose” – Moramanga 🙂 isa

  • Fun post tonight…Moramanga “But as with Herat just as you might expect Moramanga to really crank it up it goes sideways and stays at a perfectly pitched level of white flowers realized as if they are across the room instead of right under your nose.

  • From Tan Tan – As the perfume matures on skin, a slight breeze cools the desert air, tinged with salty ambergris and driftwood…. Thanks so much for the draw, in the US!

  • From Tan Tan review : “It is complex and intriguing, and unlike any of the other fig scents I have worn. It is more human, with the far drydown growing almost animalic from the woods and touch of leather. It has decent sillage through the first hour or two and great longevity”.
I live in EU and I thank you for this draw.

  • From the review from Tama Blough about Tan-Tan: ‘ Ultimately, I consider this a unique fig perfume rather than a marine or oceanic one.’
I am in Bulgaria (EU). Thanks for the draw!

  • Anna in Edinburgh says:

“Sumatera is exactly what I want to wear on a Saturday morning in the fall as it has the same amount of bite as that early morning frost.”

I’m in the UK and EU.

    Thanks for the draw opportunity:-)

  • I liked what Mark Behnke mentioned that in his review of Herat that “As the days I wore Herat, wore on, the mix of notes persisted to allow me to have an incredibly wonderful day of fragrance which felt like it was very personal as the silage of Herat was minimal. This pattern of being surprised by how much these fragrances were enjoyed by myself without spreading outside my personal space was repeated three more times.”
    Thanks USA
    Happy holidays

  • Jennifer Witt says:

Sumatera: Instead the rambunctious notes each find a place to sit politely and speak sotto voce and I found myself leaning in time and again to get a sniff of the conversation. I live in the US

  • “TUDOR reminds us that we should come to terms with our wounds and life’s obstacles, since these challenges keep us away from ourselves. It is a fragrance that frees us from fleeting artifices and reveals pure beauty. Can’t beat this quote for me. Its so full of all the dark and explorative passions that make Perfume such a powerful catalyst of the Arts and interlectuall thought. I am international and what a great draw you generous folk!

  • I went and discovered these beautiful scents from your reviews. Sumatera struck me with the exquisite description. “voluminous jasmine, which is pricked by black pepper as the perfume grows sweetly spicy with cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla. Very quickly the green patchouli appears like vines wrapping themselves around fallen trees” I can’t imagine what Green Patchouli would be like. I feel like some 40’s Movie Star that might swoon. I am in the US

  • Nyal Dillimore says:

“From vast jungles to rising volcanoes, Sumatera still remains steeped in mystery.”
I am in New Zealand. Thanks:)

  • A quote from Tama’s review about Tan Tan: “It is an excellent addition to an already fantastic perfume line.”

The fragrances from Coquillete Paris sound wonderful. It was fun to read the reviews. I am in the US.

  • ” The third application of vanilla uses orange blossom to lighten it up and keep Sulmona from being too heavy.” Thank you for the draw! I am in the US.

  • SUMATERA: “Sumatera is finished off as simply as possible with cedar and vanilla providing the rest of the gang but in deep supporting roles.” U.S.

  • Cynthia Richardson says:

“With Sumatera, we’re going to travel … to this unspoiled island (off the coast of Indonesia in the Indian Ocean) where the best quality wild green patchouli has grown for a millennium.” I live in the US.

  • About Tan Tan: ” Introduced at this year’s Pitti Fragranze show in Italy, the newest perfume in the line, Tan-Tan, was inspired by the Moroccan city and port of the same name. ”

    I am in the US.
