  • Howdy Sebastian, cool review. I love a fragrance that has an up lifting spirit to it. Grapefruit one of my favorite notes. I have been curious about this sport version for sometime but wasn’t really all that excited till I saw your review and hit the highlights of this fragrance. Look forward to this one quite a bit now and from the notes I’m positive it will be a great fit for my chemistry. Thanks a million. I have only tried Yatagan and really like it. It’s my feeling rough around the edges go to scent. In the USA.

  • Good review, Sebastian. I always enjoy your reviews, so I can’t name one specific.

I like wearing men’s fragrances, and this sounds excellent for a summertime scent. I just commented to my husband this morning how I eat, drink, and use lavender all around the house, but don’t wear it! I also love the smell of grapefruit, so this intrigues me. I could use an uplifting scent and I was taken with the emphasis on “modern noses.” I’m not young, but I haven’t loved a good many classics, so I’m intrigued.

My father introduced me to fragrance. My mother could take it or leave it (mostly leave). He had a deep love of good soap, which he considered a “poor man’s luxury.” He was a penny pincher and couldn’t abide the price of good cologne, but we spent many wonderful hours in shops smelling expensive soap (before they were ubiquitious). From him, I’m sure, I developed my love of fragrance. It was a big part of my childhood! And lavender, too, in Rockport, MA, where we spent a summer, where every little shop had lavender products. We sniffed and sniffed.

I have only tried one Caron, an oversight on my part. In the US

I went overlong here, but ss Michelyn knows, I just lost my father quite recently.

  • Sebastian’s story of his dad really parallels my connection to fragrance through my dad. I started on my fragrance journey when I inherited my dad’s small collection. He didn’t wear Caron, but I do enjoy Pour un homme occasionally because I absolutely love lavender. I’m in the US. Thanks for the draw.

  • Patrick Echevarria says:

Have not tried this line…would love to have this one and see how good it is as reviewed. Would love to strut this here in San Diego…hopefully.

  • Would love towin this bottle , thank you for the giveaway and thx for the awesome review sebastian

  • Eric meyers says:

Love grapefruit and lavender. Knowing that sebastian loves this makes it seem so much more special and the memory that goes with it. From oklahoma

  • Tyrone Spencer says:

Would enjoy having a chance to get this cologne in my collection. Thanks for giving people the opportunity to get there hands on this. Continue doing what you are doing. Enjoy listening to you , God bless.

I am usually turned off by sport label on perfumes but Sebastian points out this is not typical sporty fragrance but more like a fresher version of regular Pour un Homme which I love. thanks a lot for the generous draw. I am in the US

  • I would love to share this with the most special person in my life! I think it would be a bracing summer refresher. I love both lavender and ginger. This sounds delicious.

My own father is an octogenarian now, and he only wears Brut. I remember several of the colognes he wore when he was younger, though, and of course Old Spice was among them! I also remember Canoe and Roman Brio.

And my own favorite from Caron is Parfum Sacre.

    I am in the US.

  • This is possibly the only flanker I have ever looked forward to. I adore the Triumvirate of the Caron Line: Yatagan (my single favorite fragrance of all time@), Le Troisieme Homme and, of course, Pour Homme! (Heck, I even really dig Yuzu Man! Only wish it had better longevity. Still the best yuzu note bar none!).

And I have been longing to get my nose on this Caron Pour Homme Sport for months after reading about it online. Turns out now Sebastian’s review, and the Ca Fleure Bon availability and contest, puts it within reach. Thanks much for the generous giveaway! From Seattle, WA.

  • Anmol.deep says:

I would love to try this fragrance, it was a nice review. My dad use to wear drakkar noir, and this is the perfume from where I started sniffing other fragrances. I live in the US so hopefully I will be eligible for this contest!

  • Paulie Peanuts says:

Great review and I appreciate the sentiment behind this video. I never tried it and really would like to! Thanks for the giveaway

    Thank you for the giveaway
I live in vietnam where the fragrances are too expensive to buy, as a student i dont have money to buy fragrances but i love it
If i can win this, i will be very happy
    Thank you !!!

  • Living in the USA I do sometimes reach for my bottle of Caron’s Yatagan. I am now interested in experiencing “sport” due to Sebastian’s comments about the tart, zingy, spiciness of the blending of lemongrass, grapefruit and ginger.

  • I loved his story of his father’s scent connection with him! I don’t think I’ve tried any Carons at all, so this would be a fun one to try, or maybe to pass onto my father. My father doesn’t pay much attention to what scent he wears, as long as he wears something and it has that vaguely masculine flavor of many colognes. Thanks for the draw! I live in the US.

  • Really great review of this frag
I didn’t know much about the history of Caron so that was great to learn and I really enjoyed Sebastian talking about his father
Ginger Lemongrass and grapefruit sounds like a nice addition and I really would like to smell this being a fan of the original

  • I like many Caron’s, Yatagan, Pour un Homme, Yuzu Man and Le 3 Homme. I just really enjoy these video reviews. My first ever fragrance was a gift. USA

  • Camden Snyder says:

Excellent review! I Allways love Sebastian’s reviews. Very honest and well rounded. I have Yatagan and I definitely be wearing it in the colder months.

  • Robert Johnson says:

Great review. Love the original, truly classic scent. Would love to try this modern updated version.

  • I have never owned a Caron fragrance because I always thought they were a little old. But they have since made a few for men this, Yuzu and Milliesime for us modern men. Thanks for the review Sebastian. I live in the US

  • Xavier Reynolds says:

I have been a big fan of the original Pour Un Homme de Caron. I’d like to see how this pairs up against the new Sport version.

  • I liked the review, but please don’t enter me as I know of nobody who would like this scent. My father always wore the cheapest BOD spray! I loved to go into his bathroom after he left for work and play with the unusual sprayer bottle. Me as I kid thought it was some sort of room spray initially! I can’t say he introduced me to any scents aside from BOD, and almost all those sprays are associated with him for me, along with the smell of fresh cut wood, which I will always associate with him. He wears Ambre Noir by Yves Rocher now, which I introduced to him! He goes through a bottle every 3 weeks… uses it for everything, from his truck to his room to his bathroom to dousing himself until he’s probably more flammable than the bottle itself.

  • Diana Devlin says:

I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews! My boyfriend owns one Caron but I don’t remember which one. I’d love to win this for him, as I know he’d love the lavender and grapefruit notes. He tends to where fresh scents like Thierry Mugler’s Cologne.
    I live in the U.S.

  • Matthew Rhody says:

Great review Sebastian? I have not tried any of Caron’s offerings but am very interested in this one.

  • Awesome review dude.would love to try this fragrance and I love the house as well.Im always open to try anything with grapefruiit

  • OMG!!! Pour Un Homme De Caron Sport!!!!! The original is what got me started too!!! My father has worn this all his life!!! It came out right before he was born in paris and when he was a young single french man in the 60’s(god i wish I could’ve seen that time ) he started wearing it and has worn it ever since.
I can’t believe I missed this!!! release if I win!!!! my father is going to be so happy because of course I’m going to do the right thing and give it to him( but I’ll still rock the hell out it this summer, I’ll sneak in a wearings when he’s not looking like the old days hahahaha)
