au pays de la fleur d'oranger

Au Pays de la Fleur D'Oranger Les Inédits fragrances composed by Perfumer Jean Claude Gigodot capture owners Virginie and Antoine’s love for ingredients found in their ancestral region, the French Riviera. The lovely flacons are Inspired by the alabaster bottles used by Ancient Eyptian Women to collect their favorite fragrances. .At Esxence in Milan, the Company debuted two new perfumes Violette Sacree and Rose Irisee .

Rose irisée

EDP Rose irisée: Unapologetically sensual with a nod to the great vintage perfumes of the past. Unexpectedly Carnal. The lushness of a rose in full bloom is contrasted by aromatic wormwood and cedar.  A touch of almond gives way to a sensual rich iris melting into musks and sueded leather.

Top: bergamot, orange, wormwood

Heart: Almond, Rose, Orris, Ylang-Ylang

Base: Woody, Cedarwood, Musk, Patchouli, Vanilla, Sandalwood

Available in 100ml/ $125

Violette sacrée

EDP Violette sacrée:  Complex and textured.  The opening of bright bergamot and sweet orange move into a blend of lily of the valley, roses and honeyed orange blossom. Deep in the woods, wild violets bloom under a verdant canopy of violet leaves as the sun sets. The scent of Vetiver and sandalwood appear and the soul of this fragrance is revealed, rich and confident

Top: Bergamot, violet, violet leaves

Heart: Rose, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Lily of the Valley

Base: Cedar, Vetiver, Musk, Wood Accord

Available in 100ml/ $125

I bought the fig fruitee and love it
These both sound great but I am on a rose kick right now so I will put this on my to buy

  • Eleanor, glad to hear you say you love fig fruitee, as I just ordered it untested in order to take advantage of a great giveaway at Beautyhabit right now. I NEVER but untested but was swayed by the great review on this site, so Cafleurebon, if I don’t like it I blame you, LOL! The violet sounds nice too, by the way.

  • Cynthia, I adore the Fig Fruitee, a beautiful fragrance. I bought it blind too, and am so glad I did..

  • Oooh, I definitely want to try the Rose irisée with wormwood. I also love these bottles.
