Let’s Have a Perfume Party: Beautyhabit.com Turns Sweet Sixteen + WIN $100 Gift Certificate Draw

One of the first online fragrance destinations in the world is celebrating a milestone birthday. The year was 1996 (the year we all thought the Motorola StarTac flip cell phone was the cutting edge of technology), and Teresa, the founder of www.beautyhabit.com had a passion for perfume and makeup so she opened an online store that has become the go to destination for the beauty junkie and the scent obsessed.  Beautyhabit adds niche and artisanal lines selectively—based on what they fall in love with or customer requests. One of the best seling fragrances is Child which has a celebrity cult following since 1990. Beautyhabit was one of the first sites to present Natural and Organic perfume and beauty products online (I love In Fiore Parfum Natural Solides, which was my first ever purchase from beautyhabit.com)  Starting with just a few niche brands, Teresa admits that sixteen years later her passion has become a full blown obsession.

CaFleurebon-istas know all about fragrance fixation.  I don't advise giving a bottle of perfume as a holiday present, but never mentioned gift certificates. Thanks to Teresa and the gang at Beautyhabit one of our readers is going to win $100 eGift certificate to give or  to keep. Somehow I think our readers will want to use it for themselves.

From 10 Corso Cormo to 100% Natural Undergreen… your much wanted bottle or solid  is just a comment away. Choose from any Fragrance onsite and list  a few you are coveting now and would use your eCertificate to buy (of course you can just hang onto it because it never expires but is that the limited edition Musc Tonkin from Parfum D'Empire  may be calling your name) in our comment section. Happy birthday beautyhabit.

Draw closes December 10, 2012

  • WOW!! I could definitely do some MAJOR damage on Beautyhabit.
I would like to buy Anima Dulcis, Child perfume, Persephenie – Datura and maybe something from Alice & Peter.
    Thanks for the draw!!!

  • First of all, I LOVE that beautyhabit has 14 ml Histories de Parfum sprays… I think I might have to get the Tubereuse 3 Animale mini even if I don’t win. Half an oz is a perfect size for me, because I get fragrance ADD. I would also get the purse spray of Ambre 114.

Next I would get a Juniper Ridge Room Spray. I know that isn’t PERFUME… but I used to love smelling those at the health food store when I lived in the states. It would be wonderful to have my apartment smell like the outdoors!

Then I would continue my purse spray trend with Providence Perfume… and try Rose Boheme and Gypsy.

Hmm the Atelier coffer is calling me too!

Lastly I’d get a mini of Love and Toast’s Paper flower… That was a cheap thrill of mine until I used it up before! And I almost never use a fragrance up, much less one I got from the grocery store!

  • Mmm! I’ve had my eye on Serge Lutens – Fille en Aiguilles Eau de Parfum recently. I might also consider one or more of the Ineke fragrances. Thanks for the draw!

  • I have been wanting a bottle of IPdF’s Agrumi di Sicilia for yonks, as the Brits say! Gifts? Feh. Gimme, gimme, gimme!

  • OOoh, I would love In Fiore Fumee d’Ambre, or maybe a bottle or roll-on of Chantecaille Kalimantan, finally. UGH! Or SIP Magazine Street.

Maybe I would just gift it so I don’t have to make those horrible decisions.

  • Happy birthday beautyhabit! I would definitely use it to buy musc tonkin. Need to lay my hands on that one! Thanks for the draw!

  • Happy Birthday Beautyhabit Gang! I’d be happy if I could use it to buy Anima Dulcis at this very moment.

  • Woo, hoo! Happy birthday BeautyHabit! If I would be so lucky – I would put that $100 either toward HdP 1740 or SL Santal Majuscule. Decsions, decisions! 😉

  • Oh my! What an excellent give away!

I would buy a Lostmarc’h scent, or a Juliette has a Gun fragrance because I’ve heard so much about them and I really want to give them a go. OR, I would go for a blind buy of a fragrance that sounds interesting and lovely. What fun!

  • I would definitely get some 14 ml bottles of Histores de Parfum and a nice Ineke perfume aswell. I also would love the Atelier Cologne Collection Voyage Coffret.

    Thanks for the draw!

  • Happy birthday
Wow 16 years in cyberspace deserves a party
    I want
    Undergreen White
    Costes no 1
    DS Durga poppy rouge

    Ginestet botrytis
    Eau d Italie Pasteum rose
    Musk Tonkin

I am sure I would keep this because I deserve a gift!

  • Happy Celebration!
I could use it for the new Lubins, Volutes, 1697 EDP, maybe couple of Parfum d’Empire ( I already have Musk Tonkin 😉 ) , maybe 3-4 I Profumi di Firenze.
I know I have a long list so most probably I will have to toss a coin.

    Great draw! Thank you!

  • Wow! You said it: Musc Tonkin 😀 Or perhaps that half bottle of Moulin Rouge HdP that I’ve wanted for so long, or, or, or… I don’t think I have had fantasies like this since as a child where one could win the chance of filling up a bag of as many toys as one could in 1 minute- I never won that, but oh boy, did I envisage that I did many times over 🙂
Magnifi-scent draw, thank you and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY Beautyhabit

  • Beauty Habit is an excellent source for select niche perfumes. Now that you mention it: don’t I need a full bottle of 10 Corso Como? (-;

  • Happy birthday Beauty Habit! I am currently coveting Arquiste’s latest offering : Boutonniere no7, and obviously Musk Tonkin….

  • Happy Birthday, beautyhabit, and thank you and cafleurebon for such a generous prize!

  • Beautyhabit sure have an incredible selection to choose from. Happy Birthday to y’all.

Before I get overwhelmed with the luscious browsing I’m just going to say “Serge Lutens Datura Noir.” and be prepared to cough up the difference should I be so lucky as to be selected.

  • Happy B-Day Beautyhabit! So many good brands, but I would use it to get the new Arquiste Le Boutoniere.
    Thanks.

  • Wow! 16 years on the internet! *pauses for a moment* wow… internet shopping has been around a while now! Making me feel old!

I am coveting nearly everything on Beauty Habit’s site!

What caught my eye first was i Profumi di Firenze’s Vaniglia e Fichi. Vanilla… fig… dark chocolate… all things I am wild about this time of year!

Five O’Clock Au Gingembre by Serge Lutens is also a must after seeing it featured in this month’s draw.

Lubin – Korrigan Eau de Parfum sounds exactly what I am wanting to snuggle up to at night. The manfriend is indeed in need of a scent. And it’s full of things he loves. A christmas present to please both of us 😉

Oh and the bottles of Ginestet are drawing me in too with their beauty. Plus there is talk of wine!

    So many temptations.

  • marcopietro says:

Happy birthday Beautyhabit! My gift certificate would be for my recently dreams: Boutonniere no7 and Musk Tonkin.
    Great draw, thank you!

  • Happy Birthday 🙂 I think I would go for one of the new Lubins or one of the Arquiste fragrances. Hard to choose and then again I may hang on to it until a must have appears. THank you so much for the fab draw. Exciting.

  • What a nice site they have. Great selection and a clean but lovely layout. Thanks for the article, because I’d never visited before; shame on me! I’d be interested in anything from the Toyko Milk Dark line, Penhaligon’s Malabah and A Different Company’s Sublime Balkiss.

Happy Birthday, and thank you for a generous drawing.

  • Party time and Birthday greetings to BH! My first choice would be In Fiore Fumee d’Ambre, I adore her perfumes and I would be curious on Juliette has a gun and that Musc Tonkin sounds FAB!! Could become a shopping habit hard to break!

I also have an eye on Calypso Perfumes – Lily Eau de Parfum, Ineke – Deluxe Sample Collection Volume 5, Serge Lutens – Fleurs d’Oranger Eau de Parfum, and Persephenie – Neroli Infusion Organic Body Oil. Happy Birthday BeautyHabit!

  • Happy birthday beautyhabit from Italy! My list has only a name: Arquiste. 6 incredible fregrances. And about all: Anima Dulcis, Flor Y Canto and L’Etrog

  • Wow! Congrats to everyone at BH! I was a huge customer of theirs in a former life, and I never had a single problem with any of the many orders I placed. Their service and selection is a testament to why they’ve been so successful for so long.

Right now, I don’t know which scent I would pick were I to win the gift certificate, but I’m sure it would be something fabulous!

  • Beautyhabit is a great site – lots of scents I haven’t seen anywhere else!

On my wishlist are Tokyomilk’s Honey and the Moon, L’Artisan’s Timbuktu, Lutens’ Tubereuse Criminelle, In Fiore’s Queen Rose Attar, and Diptyque’s Philosykos.

  • I love BeautyHabit so much it’s a bit of a problem-congrats on the milestone birthday!.I’ve been eyeing Parfum d’Empire’s Musc Tonkin for sure, but also a good half-dozen other bottles, including SL’s Filles en Aiguilles and Tubereuse Criminelle.

  • Oh wow, this is such a great draw! Ooh, I see they carry Ineke! I’ve been wanting a bottle of An Evening Edged In Gold like forever now! Others that I would be drooling for, Seville a l’aube, Ambre Extreme by L’artisan and Undergreen Black!

  • Love beautyhabit! Happy Birthday!
I would use it towards a bottle of SL Santal Majescule if I don’t get it for Xmas. If I do, it’ll go toward a bottle of 10 Corso Como. Or maybe Seville a l’Aube…?

    SIP magazine street

    Providence perfume co moss gown
    In fiore patchouly

  • Happy Birthday BeautyHabit! Waht a wonderful draw! what will I choose? difficult question… A Dawn Spencer Hurwitz natural, like Padme Lotus, to make me serene, or Providence’s Moss Gown, whose review got me dreaming , or Undegreen Back or Gold to go out in the night and shine?

  • Janet in California says:

I would use it for a Tocca travel set as a gift and still have money left for something for me. Maybe some Do Sun EDP.

  • Happy birthday beautyhabit.

I would choose something from the list:
    Eau D’Italie – Bois D’Ombrie
    Frapin – “1270”
    Lubin – Akkad/Galaad/Korrigan

    Thanks.

  • Hm, off the top of my head I’d probably choose Atelier Rose Anonyme, PdE Ambre Russe or Wazamba, SL Santal Majescule, or Isabey Fleur Nocturne. Happy Birthday BH and thank you for the draw!

  • Ah… several The different company items, Osmanthus, Sel de Vet., maybe Dyptique. I think the list is much longer than any gift certificate.

  • I’m coveting L’Artisan Parfumeur “Safran Troublant”. I wouldn’t mind Parfum D’Empire “Ambre Russe” or Histoires de Parfums “Olympia Music Hall”. Thanks for the draw, BH! Happy birthday! 😉

  • Oh yes! Musk Tonkin! The description alone makes me melt…
Also Arquiste’s Boutonniere no7 and Frapin Speakeasy are on my list.

  • Too funny… I was just on their site today trying to decide if I should move forward with my Musc Tonkin purchase which btw is $10 less on Beautyhabit than at Luckyscent. Congrats Beautyhabit. Thanks for the draw!

  • Happy Birthday, Beautyhabit! Love ya! There are so many scents calling my name I would love to win this fabulous draw!!!

  • I would love to get myself a number of the perfumes on their site – L’Artisan’s Dzing, Rosine’s Rose d’Amour, Providence Perfume Co’s Cocoa Tuberose, and SL’s Chergui, Borneo 1834, Daim Blond, Santal Majueuscule… I could go on, its kind of fun to dream.

  • Happy Birthday to Beautyhabit! Of course I am lusting after the Pd’E Musc Tonkin, but I can also see myself nabbing Serge, L’Artisan, and many more…they have a great selection and very competitive prices. I have yet to really search through their website and it’s about time I rectified that! Thanks for another FANTASTIC draw- Wow! Good luck to all =)

  • Happy Day, beautyhabit! My choice would be L’Artisan Parfumeur’s Fou d’ Absinthe. Thanks for the great site!

  • Happy birthday to Beautyhabit! I would use that money to purchase Penhaligon’s Elixir and Juliette Has A Gun Midnight Oud.

  • A box from Beautyhabit is like a triple decker ice cream cone. Love! I love this site for things I can’t fnd anywhere else. I have coveted for ages a bottle of People of the Labyrinths…Luctor et Emergo. A $100 certificate would sure help dull the pain of the $190 price tag!

  • Musc Tonkin is TOTALLY calling my name! I must have it. Thanks so much for the opportunity, and Happy Sweet Sixteen to Beautyhabit.com!

  • Happy 16th birthday BeautyHabit. I would love to buy some Tokyomilk Dark or the Curiosities line. I have one of them but would like to add more to my collection.

  • Beautyhabit was my first online shopping experience. Happy birthday to them! They have several items that are on my FB list. I would be inclined to get Parfum D’Empire Ambre Russe but might go for a blind buy of Lostmarc’h Lann-Ael and of course my favorite Buddha Nose Bodhi Balm which is not technically a perfume but is a winter staple and smells divine!

  • I’m coveting Miller Harris – Coeur d’ Été Eau de Parfum, Parfum D’Empire – Osmanthus Interdite Eau de Parfum & Atelier Cologne – Bois Blonds Cologne Absolue.

  • Love the BH! My top two worst covets are 10 corso como and Bois du Violette, SL.

Thanks for the draw (I’m going away, I hope I don’t miss it!) and happy birthday BH!

  • Indeed it’s true that I have been awaiting the Musk Tonkin release which would certainly be the first on my list to nab from Beauty Habit. And I have actually been trying to remember the name of an incredible oud solid a friend shared with me over year ago and finally the In Fiore company Michelyn mentions rung the bell- I really want to get my hands on that Oud Amberi Attar that I see on the website. Or perhaps it would be time to finally invest in a full bottle of Tubereuse Criminelle… Thanks for the draw!

  • Happy birthday, Beauty Habit, and much success in the coming year.

I’ve had my eye on the Histoires de Parfums Olympia Music Hall (such a great name!). Another beauty I’d liek to try is Arquiste Infanta en Flor.

Thank you for the birthday draw!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I would love to purchase In Fiore’s Saffron of Kashmir or fluers blanches. Also providence perfumes Moss Gown or Hindu honeysuckle. Thank you for the draw.

  • A girl can only dream right? If I had $100 to spend at Beauty Habit, I would most likely buy a bottle of Ligea by Carthusia and a Histoires de Parfums mini in Tubereuse 2 Virginale. I’m almost salivating at the thought.

    Thanks for the draw!

  • I would get some candles. Perhaps something from Costes or Diptyque. Something that will make the Christmas even more dreamy.

  • Happy birthday, Beautyhabit! Man, it would be a hard choice for me – Santal Majascule or Ambre Russe or Volutes or Fille en Aguilles or maybe some candles? A first Cire Trudon or Carriere Freres or the 34 St. Germain that I’ve been wanting forever…

  • Best Birthday Wishes, Beauty Habit! I think I’d use the eCertificate to explore the Lubins — they sound so enticing….

  • I love BeautyHabit!!! Happy Birthday! If I won, I’d probably go for a 10 Corso Como shower/bath gel… and of course a bottle of a new perfume. Maybe something I haven’t tried yet, like the new Musk Tonkin. Thanks for the draw!

  • Some Histoires de Parfums, Frapin or, obviously, Musc Tonkin are in my wishlist right now! Or some candles (a gift for my mom).
    Thank you for the draw!

  • Happy Birthday to Beauty Habit. That would be a really hard choice, but something by Parfum d’Empire would be great. It would also be a birthday present for me, too, as I have a b’day coming very soon.

  • Farawayspices says:

Happy birthday to Beuatyhabit. What fun to have 100 to spend…perhaps Costes, or the Lubins…or the Musc Tonquin!

  • Happy Birthday Beauty Habit!!!! Andy Many more!!!

So many lovelies to choose from…I have really been coveting something from Uncle Serge, or maybe I’d snag 2 bottles from CdG Series 3 that I have been lusting for (Avignon and Kyoto…)…maybe Penhaligons…argh! It’s impossible. But I couldn’t go wrong with either of them. 🙂

  • Happy Birthday Beautyhabit, I still use some of my first FBs purchased from your lovely site….
    coveting: Musc Tonkin!!!
and: Arquiste Anima Dulcis (found out about this brand here)
Lostmarch Lann-Ael, L’Artisan Parfumeur – Havana Vanille and Traversee du Bosphore, Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH – Les Rouges Collection,
Providence Perfume Co. – Osmanthus Oolong and Ginger Lily
    loads of SIP and SL

If I won would probably buy Musc Tonkin but then share the scent a bit…

  • I am coveting Strange Invisible Perfumes’ Black Rosette, but if I was lucky enough to win, I might also spring for a bottle of Musc Tonkin, or L’artisan’s Al Aoud. So many great scents to choose from..

  • Congrats to beautyhabit.com!

There are just so many good fragrances that it is difficult to choose just one. However, I would narrow it down to one of the best gourmands (Frapin 1270), one of the best incenses (Comme de Garcons Avignon), and one of the best tobaccos (Ineke Field Notes From Paris). Choosing just one is so difficult, haha.

  • Oh, happy birthday beautyhabit.com. Thank you for the amazing gift. I would love to try Seville a l’Aube and Epic Gardenia. Pretty dificult to pick just one 🙂

  • On their new list, Arquiste Parfumeur – Anima Dulcis Eau de Parfum…sounds interesting…Happy Holidays.

  • Musc Tonkin, bay-bee! I can’t wait to try that. I love beautyhabit! I’m all about the Body these days – body washes/body creams and home stuff – candles, incense. It’s that burrowing/hibernation urge. Feather the nest for the winter and snuggle in – are you sick of the metaphors, yet? 😀 anyhoo, I am salivating over my beloved Agraria Bitter Orange. Perfume Burning Sticks? I’m IN! A new Petit Essence? Yum!

I want some Steam Cream, too, just because the idea of steam and cream is so alluring during this cold, dark, dank time of year. And they say ‘steam’ a lot, which makes me feel all cozy!

    xoxoxoA

  • What a great draw! There are so many things! Eau d’Italie Paestum Rose and HdP 1740 have been at the top of my wish list for a year. I keep getting distracted with new releases and limited editions.

  • Gosh, there is SO much I’m desperate for or eager to try: almost anything from The Different Company, from Penhaligon (Hammam perhaps), Parfums de Nicolai (Musc Intense, perhaps), Musc Tonkin, Serge Lutens Cuir Mauresque maybe and…and… there is too much temptatioin! Gah, I feel like little Orphan Annie!

  • So many goodies! I would go probably for Wonderwood or Avignon from Comme des Garcons.
    Thank you!

  • Laura Cornelia says:

I would like to test the opulence of a Russian feast in the Imperial Russia of the last Tzars.

So: let be Parfum D’Empire – Ambre Russe Eau de Parfum

  • I’m jonesin’ for L’Artisan Parfumeur – Traversee du Bosphore Eau de Parfum. Of course, a bottle of Undergreen Black sounds mighty fine, too. I’m a Libra and this really isn’t fair, lol. Like being a kid in a candy store. Thanks for the draw!

  • I’d definitely be going with Musc Tonkin which I’m absolutely lemming for in an uncontrollable way. 🙂 … And thanx Beautyhabit (& CFB of course) for the great giveaway.

  • Oh my!!! So difficult to choose among all these beauties… Well, I’d be just extremely HAPPY to get Histoires de Parfums – 1969 oriental or Parfum D’Empire – Aziyade. Thank you Beautyhabit and CFB for amazing giveaway! xoxo

  • Wow, generous draw! Coveting 10 Corso Como in the limited edition bottle and like everyone else that Musc Tonkin. Also Arquiste Boutonneire.

  • Happy birthday, Beautyhabit!

My lust-list is so long … it’s really hard to narrow down. I would probably choose the Musc Tonkin OR Ambre Russe OR Un Boise Vanille.

    Thank you for the draw!

  • Great Draw–Happy Birthday Beautyhabit, .. Parfums de Nicolai, Sacrebleu-no doubt..
thinking about–Serge Lutens – Tubereuse Criminelle and Strange Invisible, L’invisible

  • So many but I’d probably choose Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminelle. Or maybe Cuir Mauresque.

    Congratulations on 16 yrs!

  • I would choose PdE – Musc Tonkin (although I can’t find it anymore on site, it’s probably sold-out.. ), Histoires de Parfums – Ambrarem, Atelier Cologne – Ambre Nue.
Happy Birthday and thanks for the draw!

  • There are too many to choose from! If I am lucky enough to have this problem the very popular Musc Tonkin may be under consideration. However, I reserve the right to change my mind!
