Indigogo Crowdfunding Campaign for Olfactive Studio New Exclusive Bottle + The ÇaFleureBon Match Game

Celine Verleure of Olfactive Studio

One of the most creative minds in niche perfumery today is Céline Verleure of  Olfactive Studio.   Sometimes perfume bloggers are not unlike talent scouts; we discover emerging niche perfume brands before mainstream media and the general public (in our case in 2009 before the 2011 launch). Every so often we spot a perfume house that we believe in so much that we champion it before the buzz.  Today, after much hard work  Céline created a brand that is sold worldwide at high end niche perfumeries and specialty stores; breaking through the clutter of so many smell alike… look alike perfumes. This is an industry where “imitations” abound and there have been  those who try to copy her unique vision of combining photography with fragrance, but cannot achieve the same result.

Coming soon CLOSE UP

Over the past two years, I have wondered why so many flacons suddenly look like Olfactive Studio and the answer is simple; stock bottles that are available to anyone. It is now time for Olfactive Studio to change to an exclusive new bottle for the next fragrance launch (September 2016) and for the existing fragrances in 2017-2018. To finance the costly glass mold (US$25,000 for each size), Céline Verleure decided to create a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com (the largest international site) With each donation of $35 and more Céline Verleure will send a gift of thanks.  I know our readers love Olfactive Studio so let’s help by clicking here.

Excuse me while I spray on my happy fragrance Still Life in Rio. If we reach 45 comments a random winner will reveive the gift and will be contacted and announced

  • I love the bottle design that has what appears to be ripples but could also signify the iris of the eye on the box:) Excited for this fragrance

  • An exclusive bottle for an exquisite brand. Count me in to help out, I adore Céline, and her creative mind. A favorite… thats difficult as I .have all but Still life in Rio. Yes I’m a fan of this brand.

  • I love the new bottle design and this is a great idea! Still Life in Rio has become my new favorite! 🙂

My favourites so far have been Lumière Blanche and Chambre Noire. I’ve yet to try Still Life in Rio. Sounds like I should. The new bottles look fabulous – I love it when beautiful design can be incorporated with beautiful products. I’m off to check out the Indigogo site…

I am such a fan of Olfactive Studios. I am really loving my sample of Still Life in Rio for the hot weather in my city right now! It’s so delicious.

Even though I also very much enjoy Still Life (I bought a bottle of this one!), Flash Back, and Autoportrait, Still Life in Rio remains my favorite!

  • What a great idea. I’ve actually not tried any of this line (why not? I don’t know), but I’ve heard great things and I think crowdsourcing is great. Cheers!

The bottle bottle reminds me of those travel flasks, sleek and easy to handle!

  • I haven’t tried very much from Olfactive Studio – but I’m very very interested in Chambre Noire. Congrats on the beginnings of new bottles!

I love crowdfunding campaigns and am a total sucker for them every time. I’ll be sure to check this one out. Olfactive Studios is a line I haven’t sampled yet, so I haven’t had a chance to find a favorite.
The new bottle looks very nice, though I can’t view video out here in the sticks where our internet is too slow. I like the rings (signifying, I suppose, a lens) and think it’s a nice, subtle but cohesive touch.

  • love the idea behind their fragances, still have to try them they arent available were i live

  • The new bottle is a terrific fit for Olfactive Studio. It captures the brand’s spirit and story so well. I want to run my fingers over the ripples on the bottle. The metal shoulder on the bottle makes a strong, distinctive statement. I hope the cap and sprayer are as substantial as they appear in the photo.

I like the new bottle design – I liked the old one as well but the new one fits more to the elegant perfume house. I love Still Life in Rio.

  • I have never tried any of Olfactive Studio fragrance, but those are sounds very interesting. I very like the bottle and the box. Very unique and nice.

I like the new bottle and I sincerely hope that this will be a big step forward! My favorite scent is Panorama.

  • Marcopietro says:

Crowdfunding campaigni is a great idea! I like new bottle design, really good in every aspects. My favorites O.S. fragrances are Still Life in Rio and Panorama.

  • I haven’t had the chance to sample anything from Olfactive Studios yet, but I love what I have read about them. And the idea for the bottle is perfect for the brand.

  • Wayne Hollander says:

The new bottle looks sleek and posh – and golly who knew how pricey such a thing could be? But this is a lovely house, which I learned of right here; and I was VERY pleased to be gifted with a generous sample of Lumiere Blanche which I absolutely adore; as well as some Chambre Noire! Best wishes to the perfumer!

  • Good luck with your campaign! I very much prefer for brands to have distinctive bottles. I’ve only tried the first four scents, and my favorite was Chambre Noire.

  • I love the old bottle, but I like the idea behind and uniqueness of the new one 🙂 The only OS I’ve tried is Lumière Blanche, and I am totally obsessed with it!

  • Beautiful bottle!! I really don’t care too much about the bottles as long as the juice is great but this one looks lovely!! I am also a huge fan of crowdfunding and this is great!!

  • Great news! I’ve tried all the Olfactive Studio fragrances I could find, admittedly drawn by the photographs. I used to work as a photographer, so I find the idea for the line very interesting. The new bottle is perfectly suited! I love the focus ring on the cap in particular. Chambre Noire is my favourite scent so far. Best of luck with the crowd funding!

I live in Canada, thank you.

  • Iphigenia says:

I haven’t yet tried any perfume creation from Olfactive Studio – but I would love to experience Chambre Noire.
The new bottle is simply amazing it combines classic art deco with a modern twist (Lalique would love it).
    Congratulations and all the best!!!

  • Beautiful bottle and I can’t wait to smell it! My favorite fragrance from this house is Chambre Noire. Highly recommend to everyone!

  • I love that the creative director is asking fans for help and support, not multi-billion Euro conglomerates. The new bottles still have that “niche” aesthetic (elegant simplicity and luxury even in function) and incorporate the Olfactive Studio ideal of from the eye to the nose…with the splash ripple in the bottle’s back glass and slick black collare and sprayer/cap.

I have a sampler of the first four releases: Autoportrait, Chambre Noire, Still Life and Lumiere Blanche. All of them genius and inspired fragrances indeed. I am literally drooling for Panorama (and wasabi in perfume!) and pining to try Ombre Indigo (perhaps the most raved about…) not to mention Flash Back, Selfie and Still Life in Rio??!

So much to sniff. Though I am on a pretty tight budget at the moment I do believe a $35 USD contribution to OS IndieGoGo campaign will do far more good and bring a wonderful gift from Celine. It’s a win/win/win!!

I do not spend a lot on perfume these days. Spending much less than the cost of a designer or even direct market fragrance, one can be a part of remaking a current iconic and artistic brand-adding a very personal level of support to a great brand.

Thanks for matching each comment and to Mme. Verleure for her kind array of gifts and wonderfully inspired scents!!

I just decided to fund the Olfactive Studio new design via Indiegogo! It was thanks to this site that I was made aware of the opportunity, and of the lovely perks! Thanks to Ça Fleure Bon, and to Celine Verleure!

And I am so looking forward to my very own bottle of Still Life in Rio!
