Some of us like our fragrances “Noir”, but all of us love “Film Noir”. Film noir is not easily defined. The actual words come from French and mean "black cinema.”… Some argue that it is a genre, while others say that the best film noir movies have of a tone or mood in the film, or that film noir is more of a visual style.
Movie Poster for "The Postman Always Rings Twice" 1981 is a remake of the 1946 classic (starring Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange)
Made popular in the USA in mid 1940s-50s by such directors as Orson Welles, Billy Wilder and Alfred Hitchcock, many “dark” films, “neo-noir” came about in the 70s-90s and were shot in color. Match our CaFleureBon team with what we think is one of the best film noir movies and win last month’s spilled perfume.
