 Earlier this month Steven Gavrielatos and I went to visit Europerfumes, the USA distributor of some of the most coveted niche perfumes in the country. We toured the office, had an amazing sniffing session and discovered so many offerings from  their brands. Steven and Marisa Auciello, an executive with Europerfumes curated their Top 10 Summer fragrance that are sold by Europerfumes, (who sponsors so many CaFleureBon draws). Abel Cyan Nori (Isaac Sinclair) was new to Steven It’s an all-natural perfume with nuances of tangerine and white peach. The lactonic qualities of the fruits combine with the saltiness of nori for an unforgettable summer experience. Abel Odor is a 100 PERCENT NATURAL house founded by Frances Schoemack and was a CaFleureBon’s winner for Best Natural Perfume House of 2018.

Memo Paris Sicilian Leather (Yann Vasnier) opens with lemon and bitter orange, which evolves into a smooth leather dry down accented by akigalawood and patchouli. The earthy facets of the perfume keep it smelling natural and unquestionably grounded to create a versatile experience.

Mancera Jardin Exclusif is a fruity floral fragrance with a bouquet of white peach, black currant, and green apple. A gourmand touch of caramel creates a sweet sensation before we arrive at the base, which contains white musk, sandalwood, and vanilla from Madagascar. This complex summer perfume is sure to keep you intrigued for many hours.

Etat Libre d’Orange You or Someone Like You (Caroline Sabas) aka YOSLY features a superb mint note. Citruses including  grapefruit and bergamot liven things up, and the base is pleasantly musky and refreshingly crisp. Like a refreshing Mojito cocktail, this fragrance is sure to take the edge off.

Amouage Reflection Man (Lucas Siuezac): Omani luxury; pink pepper and petit grain reside in the top of the perfume pyramid while jasmine and cedar greet us a bit later in the life of the perfume. Vetiver and patchouli in the base crate a resolute aroma that is sure to add many hours of longevity to this remarkable perfume.

 

Roja Parfums Elysium, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Cologne Forte, Vilhelm Parfumerie Basilica and Fellini, Xerjoff Nio, Casamorati Mefisto Gentiluomo

Roja Parfums Elysium (Roja Dove): Fresh and exhilarating the jasmine flower in the heart of the perfume is pure and serene. Juniper adds an earthy touch while an abundance of citrus keeps the aroma bright and inviting.

Xerjoff Nio is one of the brightest and most realistic bergamot fragrances on the market. The organic quality of the perfume leaves us mesmerized and satiated. Clean vetiver prolongs the freshness in the base for a long-lasting experience.

Vilhelm Parfumerie Basililca & Fellini (Jerome Epinette) was new to Steve but is a ÇaFleureBon favorite. is a marriage of basil and fig. Its aromatic properties are gently enhanced by a grassy texture in the base that leaves the fragrance smelling natural and interesting.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Cologne Forte (Francis Kurkdjian): Bergamot, musk, and sweet pea comprise this floral and citrus fragrance for a sensation that is even brighter than the original. The perfume maintains its cleanliness all the way through, and the musk in the base conveys the warmth of clean skin.

Xerjoff Casamorati Mefisto Gentiluomo is the follow-up to the abstract and masterful Mefisto. It is a breathtaking combination of iris, violet, and citrus. This sophisticated and refined fragrance is versatile and effervescent.
