Top Ten Holiday Fragrances 2021 @redolesssence ©

When the thermostat drops and the days grow shorter, it is time to reach for perfumes that are as cozy and comfy as your favorite Christmas sweater but are sophisticated enough for a Holiday party. Yesterday I presented part one of the CaFleureBon Holiday gift guide part 1, that was filled with scented ideas to give or to get. Video Contributor Steven Gavrielatos adds to the festivities with his curation of his top ten Holiday fragrances, all are boozy, spicy and or resinous which immediately evoke the holiday season.

Top Ten Holiday Fragrances 2021 @redolesssence ©

Holiday Fragrances that are Boozy: We all know that perfume contains alcohol, but there is something appealing about the rich dark aromas of boozy notes such as brandy, rum and cognac. Boozy fragrance are warm and ambery.

Kilian Paris Apple Brandy On The Rocks (Sidonie Lancesseur) is a cinnamon-spiced take on brandy  and the newest version of  2014’s Apple Brandy

Navitus XO Brandy (Sidonie Lancesseur) is a richly scented aroma containing nuances of coffee and a spiced brandy accord.

Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London (Julien Rasquinet) is a cognac-based fragrance with touches of spicy amber and agarwood

Roja Parfums Creation-E (Roja Dove) is a cognac-based fragrance that will warm you up upon the first sniff.

Side Effect by Initio Parfums is a rum-based fragrance with touches of cinnamon and tonka bean.

What are resinous perfumes

Top Ten Holiday Fragrances 2021 @redolesssence ©

Holiday Fragrances that are spicy and resinous: The Holiday Season and winter bring to mind the aromas of resins like myrrh, frankincense, pine, fir, olibanum, agarwood, and balsams as well as warming spices such as cardamom cinnamon as well as sweet and spicy cloves.

Tom Ford Vert d’Encens is an incense and pine fragrance that immediately transports you to a forest with the scent of incense  from a nearby church in the distance.

Cape Heartache by Imaginary Authors (Josh Meyer) is a walk through a Pacific Northwest Forest as the snow begins to fall. Notes include douglas fir, pine resin, western hemlock, vanilla leaf, strawberry, old growth, and mountain fog.

Mancera Red Tobacco: According to the Mancera site, it is classified as an Oud fragrance. However, Oud takes a supporting role to the very rich, heady tobacco note that is enveloped in cloud of spicy amber.

Alexandria III by Xerjoff (Chris Maurice) is a newer version of Alexandria II which has the same DNA but seems richer with two types of precious oud- from Cambodia and Laos is redolent of cinnamon, floral, woody and amber notes that  lend a  golden glow.

And our Number 1? Oajan by Parfums de Marly (Shyamala Maisondieu) is the quintessential holiday fragrance that combines a plethora of boozy, spicy and resinous notes.

All of Steven’s Top Ten Holiday Fragrances have exceptional longevity, potent sillage and will will last well into the New Year.

  • Luis Rodriguez says:

Great video ! My fav that I own are Red Tobacco and Oajan. I am incredibly curious of Alexandria III , Side Effect and Apple brandy on the rocks. I will order a few testers and try them out. Fall & winter fragrances are amazing. Something about the way they smell in this climate is very alluring. Happy holidays

  • Xerjoff Alexandria III
I thought they all sounded good would love to try them all but my favorite was the one I listed above and I’m in California,USA
    Insta @jasonrossbaker
    Thanks

  • I really enjoyed Michelyns selection of boozy and spicy and resinous fragrances. I got many of this that I should try.
About Stevens review, what can I tell? I always enjoy his lists and always follow him. Apple Brandy is one that I really should try, because I love boozy fragrances.
The fragrance I would love to win is Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria. I´m in U.S.

  • My favorite time of the year when it comes to fragrances! Spicy, woody, boozy and warm notes listed in Michelyin’s intro are my type of notes. I’ve tried several of Steven’s picks and I love them. Cape Heartache is one of my absolute favorites. There are many that I also haven’t tried but I really want to. For example Vert d’Encens or Alexandria III, which sound amazing from Steven’s reviews. I am from Illinois US and I am of course following you on instagram (alex_supernova). In case I am chosen I would pick Xerjoff Alexandria III.

  • Michelyn mentioned shorter days, and I’m so very looking forward to more daylight. Steven’s picks are great. He likes Mancera’s Red Tobacco and I enjoy it also. I would love to win Xerjoff Alexandria III, because it has Apple and cinnamon notes. It sounds delicious. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff. Mich USA

  • I loved the list on Steven’s video, they all sound amazing, my pick however would had been ParfumsTheMarly Oujan but Side Effect by Initio Parfums is my second choice, I’m from US Puerto Rico. I also follow your instagram account. (@blissful_encounter)

  • Thank you for the list Michelyn and Steven! I was excited to see Cape Heartache on this list. Imaginary Authors just mailed my bottle today along with a few other goodies. Out of the fragrances listed I would most like to win a bottle of Initio Parfums Side Effect. I live in Indiana.

  • Man these fragrances sound great, I need to get my hands on at least four of the ones Steven mentioned in his list and that were talked about in this article. I’m currently in Florida and if I were to win (fingers crossed) I’d be happy with either of three particular choices. My first choice would be Alexandria III, if that one is taken then I would like Side Effect. My final choice would be the Electimus fragrance. Thanks for doing this giveaway I really do appreciate it

  • I agree with Michelyn, there’s something about rich boozy fragrances that are perfect to cozy up in the holiday season. And I like Steven’s review for the diverse selections.
I’d choose Initio Parfums Side Effect. Cheers from Indiana, USA.

  • Michelyn’s article and Stevens video did a great job with the Fragrance choices. All great for the winter and holiday time. Such wonderful Niche brands. My #1 choice is Amber Aquilaria
    #2 Xerjoff Alexandria
#3 Intito Parfums side effect. Thank you for this Chance USA

  • JaMichael Sanders says:

The cooler weather is always my favorite time of the year for different types of fragrances. Michelyn did a good job with her article. Easy to read and straightforward just enough detail of each fragrance to give each reader a general impression of them. Steven always does well with his reviews his knowledge always shine through and he seems like a great guy. I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

My choic me if I am selected would be “Initio Parfums Side Effect”
    My IG handle is: @TheCologneHero

  • Steven great list. I totally agree with Michelyn there’s something about rich boozy fragrances that are perfect to cozy up in the holiday season. I would love to win Electimuss. Hello from The Great State of Texas

  • David Patrick says:

Steve’s video spoke my love for fragrances, BOOZY.I’ve little experience with Intio Side effect but my short time with it spoke LOUD, on skin it lasted 8+ hours. Creation-E (enigma), only got a test try but the picture that came to mind. A perfect mixture of the classic
drinks Captain n coke, and/or Jack n coke. All steve’s picks sound good but those 2 I feel work best in complimentary, side effect had gotten me some, and Roja Dove’s have just worked charms before. In the end, all 10 fragrances sound good, great list I say!

  • Ooo Cape Heartache a staple of mine for the autumn too. Couldn’t agree more with Michelyn’s description of it smelling like a walk through a forest in the PNW. And you certainly can’t go wrong with Oajan this time of year. The layering fragrance of choice. Loving every frag in both boozy and resinous groupings, especially Enigma and Vert d’Encens. I think Steven could be right that Enigma is the complex one of the bunch. Wonderful selections all around. Just recently got to try Amber Aquilaria too and it was one of my favs from Electimuss. Might add Tom Ford’s Amber Absolute myself as a testament to Carlos (BFL). A winter powerhouse if there ever was one! My pick to win would be Side Effect (because I need more experience with it!) and Oajan as my #2. From Canada. IG: @donilight

  • Thank you Michelyn and Steven for this amazing list. Each fragrance mentioned perfectly describes this season of year. My selection if I have to win would be Initio side effect or Navitus XO brandy.

  • Thanks Michelyn and Steven for this amazing list. Each fragrance mentioned describes perfectly this season of year. My selection if I have to win would be Initio side effect or Navitus XO brandy.

  • Jarrid Steele says:

I’m in Montreal, Canada right now and would love to win a bottle of Side Effect, Oajan or XO Brandy. I have never had the opportunity to smell any Nativus fragraces but I love Oajan and Side Effect. My favorite part of Steven’s video is his passion and enthusiasm but also his ability to succinctly describe each fragrance. My favorite part of Michelyn’s introduction is here captivating way with words. On Instagram, I am jarridsteel and I will go follow your page to get the extra entry. Thank you!

  • I think I would love to get my nose on Alexandria III. Enigma isn’t Alexandria so the Xerjoff it is. I do have Alexandria II and it does smell glorious. Hoping it’s in the same vein. I loved Steven’s list as I share some of his picks for this season. NJ, USA.

  • These all sound wonderful (Steven always has very evocative descriptions in his videos), but if I had to choose one of the four in the draw, it would be the PdM Oajan. I’m in Oklahoma, USA.
    insta @ben_alpers

  • Count me in for Alexandria III and oojan

I really loved that mychelyn explained what resinous and boozy notes are
Loved Steven’s reviews and want to get my nose on Oajan too

  • I would have to go PdM Oajan as my choice in the giveaway.

I enjoyed Michelyn’s “cliff notes” for each of her holiday selections…as a “non-pro” when it comes to detailed fragrance breakdowns…keeping descriptions simple and relatable is nice to see from both Michelyn and Steven. Steven is the master at making the most complex fragrances relatable so us “common folks” can get the essence of the perfume.
From Steven’s list I own and enjoy Mancera Red Tobacco and Steven’s comments on it are right on the money.
    I’m in the USA.
Thanks for doing the giveaways and Happy Holidays!!!

  • I love all the beautiful scents Steven covered in his video. So descriptive, so professional. When he talks about the fragrances you can almost taste them. . Would love to try Creation E

  • Nice cozy selections, it seems like winter is going to a doozy here in the NotthEast so I will need some help staying warm! I would pick Xerjoff Alexandria III. I’m following CFBofficial as @flavasauce. USA

  • I have recently rated Oajan and fell in love with it! I am also curious about Initio side effects and hoping that I can win one of these two. Canada. I am also a redolessence subscriber but under a different id

  • Hello hello!! Love the introduction and Steven is always great. I would like to win PDM oajan if not available then xerjoff or elictimus. I live in New York.
Glad to have found your site. Happy Holidays.

  • I’m a big fan of all the included houses, and the season allows for some of my favorite notes to really shine! The write and video were both super well thought out and descriptive, so much so that I’m getting some samples right now

  • Bennie Johnson says:

Always love Steven’s reviews and recommendations. Would love to try Roja Dove’s Creation E Parfum. I’ve heard so many good things about this fragrance from the cognac, species and cola type vibe in the opening. I’m in Maryland, USA. Keep up the good work!

  • Love this season of the year because is perfect for this boozy and cozy fragances as Michelyn and Steven said. The cold and the scents attracts the human contact that is so necessary on this days. I’m interested on the Roja Parfum and my Instagram is cabr_19

  • I love boozy fragrances and they are perfect for the holiday season. I also love spicy and resinous fragrances; myrrh and pine are a couple of my very favorite notes. Michelyn’s introduction includes so many great fragrance choices! Steven’s reviews of his favorite holiday fragrances are great. I agree that Vert d’Encens is a beautiful, resinous fragrance. I also love Cape Heartache- the pine and strawberry is so unique. I love Steven’s description of XO Brandy, especially if it’s slightly reminiscent of Vert d’Encens. I would love to win Parfums de Marly Oajan, Navitus XO Brandy, or Initio Side Effect. Thank you for the article, reviews, and giveaway. I am located in the USA. I also followed CaFleureBon on Instagram and my Insta name is sleeprokop.

  • Michelyn hits it on the head…for me this time of year is all about wearing cozy and comforting scents. I love pulling out anything gourmand and spicy, especially if it has vanilla or cinnamon. I’ve been watching Steven for several years now and I really respect his reviews and choices on these lists. There were a few on here that I expected like Red Tobacco and the Kilian. But there were also a few like the Tom Ford and the Imaginary Authors that I don’t often see on these types of lists. Thanks for introducing me to some new stuff!

If I won the draw, it’s a tough choice, but I think I would pick Oajan. I live in IL, USA. My Insta name is cubs1723.

  • This is such an amazing giveaway! All of the scents are perfect for the season! Thank you guys for giving us this opportunity

  • Perfume_Madness says:

Great article & great video Steven! I would love any of these fragrances but I choose Alexandria III by Xerjoff because cinnamon and florals…yes! Missouri USA.

  • Phillip Luna says:

WOW,you really make it tough to pick one when I would be happy with any one of the descriptions that you and Steven gave, but it must be done and the winner is ALEXANDRIA III -XERJOFF because I never tried a fragrance with DOUBLE OUD.

  • Hendrix Wilson says:

The introduction set up the video so well by describing the theme of Steven’s picks. The video in one word “informative”. Steven paints a picture when he talks about fragrance. His love for fragrance intrigued me from the very time I watched his channel a few years ago, I have been hooked every since. Steven’s reviews are the reason I own and love Red Tobacco, Kajal Lamar, Aventus, and a few PDM fragrances.
    Cheraw, South Carolina

  • scentofsearch says:

Love winter fragrances and I’ve really been wanting to try Oajan by Parfums de Marly. Got a sample of Herod and absolutely love it. Big fan of Steven, so sad to see Carlos has passed away, especially enjoyed their collabs. Hello from Washington state.

  • Boozy, spicy and resinous fragrances i woul wear an entire year,i’m very curious about Cape Heartache,Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria and NavitusXO Brandy. Thanks for this generous draw, i live in EU!

  • Derek Bedinghaus says:

Love the quick and to the point introduction just like Steven’s good friend Brooklyn Fragrance Lover would have done RIP Carlos. I would like the chance to win Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss. Steven’s reviews are always detailed & on point, I like the picks he chose also. I’m located in OH, USA. ALSO followed on Insta @gunnerfrags

  • Devonte Gordon says:

I recently ordered a decant of Oajan by Parfum De Marly and I was so excited to experience it, Definitely full bottle worthy. I also fell in love with Kilians Apple brandy on rocks and decided I would wear it the Christmas! I Definitely enjoy winter a lot more now all because of the rich and addicting fragrances.

  • Boozy or spicy, hmm hard choice. Steve talks so nicely about wintry darkness and perfumes that complement it. I disnt know Steven was creative director for Navitus.
    I’m in EU

  • Enjoyed Steven’s video just like always, saw many great fragrances in the list. And reading Mychelin’s intro I felt that Christmas is definitely around the corner, it seems I can smell it!
I would love to win Electimuss or Navitus perfumes.
    Lithuania, EU

  • Michael J Johnson says:

Love this list!! My favorite this time of year is Black Phantom by Kilian. The perfect cozy scent for this time of year to cuddle with your love one in front of a fire enjoying the moment.

  • My choice is Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria. I think it was a fantastic introduction with lots of interesting details and information. Steven’s reviews were fabulous and they kept me watching to the end. My Instagram name: insztagramekphoto. I live in Poland, EU.

  • I really love the Michelyn’s introduction and Steven’s reviews and their choice and descriptions of all the fragrances! I believe that the New Year’s festive scent should contain notes of spicy mulled wine, tangerines, pine needles, spices such as cinnamon, star anise, cloves. It is this fragrance that I associate with a festive mood since childhood. So I think this is the perfect selection!
As for me, I am interested in Navitus XO Brandy most of all as coffee and brandy sound divine together.
    I am from the UK.

  • DOBREA RADU says:

With Initio side effect i have a perfectly balanced olfactory experience, Side Effect is a passionate composition created to bring back forgotten emotions and free the senses from all fears.
The fragrance opens with noble notes of tobacco and rum, then stirs waves of creamy vanilla leading to an ecstatic base of wood essences and irresistible cinnamon.

  • Red tabacco It is a beast of perfume. It’s very intense, persistent, you know, everything you want. It is not a perfume to wear at 8 in the morning. If other perfumes are called somehow and the note is barely felt or disappears, this is a continuous tobacco. And it lasts, God, how long it lasts. It stays on the skin even after the bath.

  • Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London (Julien Rasquinet) is a cognac-based fragrance with touches of spicy amber and agarwood. A beautiful description by Michelyn I am intrigued by the notes especially cognac and spicy amber. I think warm and spicy fragrances really shine in the colder weather but I would wear them all year. Stevens review just sealed the dea for me a house that I have got no experience with but I am fascinated by the notes. If I lucky I would love to win the Amber Aquilaria. I follow Cafleurebon official my instagram name is amnaaziz5296@gmail.com. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • Holiday Fragrances that are Boozy: We all know that perfume contains alcohol, but there is something appealing about the rich dark aromas of boozy notes such as brandy, rum and cognac. Boozy fragrance are warm and ambery. Navitus XO Brandy (Sidonie Lancesseur) is a richly scented aroma containing nuances of coffee and a spiced brandy accord. I am really intrigued by Navitus XO Brandy because I don’t have a fragrance with coffee and brandy and this is a house that I have not explored. Steven and Michelyn reviews have piqued my interest in boozy, spicy resinous fragrances. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • As always, Michelyn wrote a very good introduction that compliment steven’s review VERY WELL. And as for steven’s list – excellent as always! Informative, interesting and very fun to watch. His love for perfumes just oozes from the screen! I live in Croatia, EU. I follow Cafleurebon on Instagram, my @ is @il.dolce.papi

  • bigscoundrel says:

Great intro list from Michelyn with to the point descriptions. I put a couple of these fragrances on my wishlist based on Steven’s breakdowns. I’d love to win Oajan. Thanks, USA NJ

  • I love all of these fragrances mentioned. Since I’m in Michigan day and night are cold and then freezing SidenEffect is one of my favorites to wear to cut through this frigid air. I believe Creation E would work beautifully as well smelled it never owned it.

  • Zoran Loncarevic says:

Hello Steven, an excellent selection, as always. You’d like to have everything . Thumbs up. If I would really like to try it out and don’t even know it yet, it would be the Amber Aquilaria from Electimuss. Greetings from Germany.

There are so many fragrances in the line up i have never tried and would love to. Thanks to Michelyn for yet another gorgeous introduction.
If i were to choose i would go with
    1. Alexandria III

    3.Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria
    USA

    2.

  • I like reading the introductory descriptions of all the fragrances. From the vid I enjoyed the personal take on these perfumes as he actually has them. If.I win I’d pick the Parfums de Marley OaJan. US

  • Michelyn’s introduction was the perfect mode-setter for the rest of the read and Steven’s picks were varied and well described- there was something for everyone!
Would love to win Electimuss Amber aquilaria or Navitus XO Brandy from the EU.

  • Professor_Bair says:

Loved Michelyn’s note around reaching for cozy yet sophisticated fragrances around the holidays! Spot on! Steven had a wonderful list and I’m very interested in Cape Heartache, Side Effect and Alexandria III but if I won then I would choose Side Effect! USA — My instagram is SmellinFreakyFresh and I’m following Cafleurebon

  • I agree – this kind of weather really makes me want to reach for warm and cozy fragrances. I love Steven’s reviews because they cover the important things I want to know about a fragrance before I try it. I’m in the US and would love to win Side Effect – although I think all of the fragrances are winners.

  • Jacob Savitt says:

My favorite scents are from the holidays. Those sweet and spicy ones really feel homey and cozy and I absolutely fall in love with them every time. Oajan is easily in my top 5, and creation E is one I’ve yet to get my hands on but hope to! Excellent article- happy holidays!!

  • I love the holiday lists! And I am with you all on the number one. I would love to win Oajan by Perfumes de Marly. If someone has already chosen it, then I would choose Initio Parfums Side Effect. They both sound so lovely! I am in the US.

  • Holiday scents? Yes please! Michelyn did a excellent job of describing Vert d’Encens as being in a forest with church incense wafting by. I would love to experience that. As for Steven’s review I had not known until now that Red Tobacco was also a spicy fragrance. The only thing I think he missed was mentioning the rise notes in a few scents which is a turn off to my nose. I live near the capitol of Switzerland . Thanks gir yhe chance to win and happy holidays .

  • Jamie Muhammad says:

Stephen always has great recommendations! You can’t go wrong with any of these fragrances.

  • Great introduction! I love spending time with family over the holidays that I don’t get to see much of the rest of the year. A really special time. Smelling good during it is a great bonus! Thanks for the draw, and thank you Steven for the great content as always. If I were lucky enough to win I’d go with Oajan. From Indianapolis.

  • I really enjoyed Michelyn’s breakdown of each of the fragrances: short and to the point, yet descriptive. I loved how Steven’s video contained a variety of fragrances at different price points and, although all having similar themes, they each execute the feel of the holiday season in different ways. I live in NY, NY and my IG name is wrm_01.

  • I really enjoyed Michelyn’s breakdown of each of the fragrances: short and to the point, yet descriptive. • Kevin Donovan says:

I liked how the fragrances were organized, and the pictures were nicely done. The video was fairly persuasive. Anyhow, I live in Massachusetts (USA), and at this time of the year, the fragrances presented herein would work well. Out of the four scents offered, Navitus XO Brandy would be my pick.

  • I had no idea that brandy on the rocks (my second favourite from the liqueur collection, btw) have an old version. It is definitely very festive. I also love Tome Ford Michelyn’s introduction of Vert d’Encens, it makes me want to try to find it. And the last fragrance that actually attract my attention is Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria and I would love to win it. I live in France, EU.

  • Love dark, woody, incense perfumes, so this is a great list of such by Michelyn along with Steven’s video description. Based on Michekyn’s intro and Steven’s high praise, if I were to win this draw, I would go with Parfums de Marley OaJan first, and if not available, I would go with, in decreasing order of preference, Intito Parfums Side Effect, then Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria, then Navitus XO Brandy, followed by Xerjoff Alexandria III. I am Redolessence subscriber and from USA, so eligible for all the perfumes in the draw.

  • Thanks for that list! When its getting cold out there its finally the time for all those sweater and heavier fragrances 🙂 For me they all sounded good, and I would love to try them all but my favorite is:

    Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria

    Living in Germany, EU

  • Michelyn says cozy fragrances suit the holiday season. I noticed a theme in Steven’s recommendations that many compositions had boozy or woody notes. Steven seems to enjoy boozy compositions and frequently mentioned the cognac note in the video. My choices are:

    1. Xerjoff Alexandria II
    2. Initio Side Effect
    3. Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria

    I am in US

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Whereas Michelyn’s breakdown was an excellent quick-hit version of what each fragrance brings to the table, Steven encapsulated the feeling the wearer gets in his customary eloquence. Many of the fragrances listed are at least on my to-try bucket list, including a few I had not heard of. Really appreciate the generosity of this giveaway and, should I win, I’d love to have Creation-E/Enigma from Roja Dove. Many thanks and blessings from Virginia, USA!

  • redwheelbarrow says:

I love boozy fragrances this time of year! And I love several from Michelyn’s intro (I’m almost afraid to wear Apple Brandy to work it’s so boozy). I’m most interested in Initio Side Effect for the rum and cinnamon notes and Steven’s description of it as being romantic. But I think I would choose Alexandria III if I were to win because of Steven’s description of the apple pie note which sounds amazing! Thanks for the draw. In the US.

  • I would choose the new Navitus XO Brandy. It would allow me to try out their fragrances and it sounds absolutely delicious. Plus Steven had a hand in it, right? In maryland.

  • Great to see revisits of great scents that show they last years, at same time new and small release mentions keep us interested in the content. I own Vert D’encens it’s probably my favourite of the Vert Line from TF. You might not know it dosent make the 4 * rating that Luca Turin gives to both Vert Boheme and Vert de Fleur but I’m with Stephen on this one, it lasts on me all day and the resinous forest type scent is perfect to comfort me right through winter. Keep up the edutainment Redolessance

  • Intito parfums side effect… Personally I love winter fragrances & all these sound amazing. Michelyn selection of boozy fragrances I’d really enjoy as well. Perfect list IMO love shorter days & getting warm together!! USA

Thanks Cafleurebon for another amazing opportunity good luck everyone!!!

  • Thanks for the reviews Michelyn and Steven!

You summed it up perfectly with the thermostat dropping and the days growing shorter. It is definitely time to reach for perfumes that are as cozy and comfy as your favorite Christmas sweater but are sophisticated enough for a Holiday party.
I love this season and all the joys that come with it.

It’s always a treat to see a new video from Steven in my feeds. And as always he selected 10 amazing fragrances. I love his brief descriptions and feel like I know exactly which fragrances would suit me after his reviews.

The fragrance I would love to win is Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria.

I follow the new @cafleruebonoffical account on my @ronaldjapenga Instagram name.

    Greetings from the UK!

  • Ariana Pancaldi says:

I would love to win Oajan by Parfums de Marly, Enigma, Red tobacco or honesty any of the fragrances.
In the intro I loved the description of cozy but sophisticated because that is the best description of a winter scent for me. Steven’s review encapsulated this description with his boozy, spicy and warm fragrances.
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina
    Instagram: ariana_pancaldi_

  • Great selection Steve! I agree with you and Michelyn that boozy, spicy and resinous sum up the holiday scents for me. An ideal Christmas seems linked with cold, snowy weather and those types of fragrances are perfect. I would be delighted with any of the following: PdM Oajan. Xerjoff Alexandria III, Inito Parfums Side Effects, Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria. I’m in MD, USA.

  • I have followed Steven for many years, and he was a great resource for me getting started on this journey. I am so happy for him, that he has his own brand now. I love warm, boozy scents like Angel’s Share, mentioned by Steven, and Creation-E/Enigma. For that reason I would love to win Electimuss Amber Aquilaria.

  • Wow some heavy hitters on this list. I really enjoy several of them. Stevens insights shine in the winter time selections especially. My choice would be Oajan first and Alexandria III second.

  • wandering_nose says:

Oh! This is one of those articles which bring me close to losing my breath at the sheer thought of being able to test all of the offerings presented. I like Michelyn’s intro – she is spot on about the craving for cozy, warm, boozy fragrances growing stronger as the days get shorter and more chilly. And I simply love Steven’s choices. He seems to truly love his holiday scents! Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria would be my choice – it sounds insanely delectable. I follow you guys on IG under _cathy_reilly_ . Many thanks from the Republic of Ireland, EU.

  • Eric Magruder says:

I’ve only had the opportunity to smell one of these fragrances on the list. I will be purchasing Kilian Apple Brandy as a Christmas present to myself . It smells amazing !

  • carlos_lager says:

Great video and introduction. I love ambery and boozy fragrances and am familiar with some of the fragrances mentioned. My all time favorite to wear on the holidays is Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens.
If I were to win, I would chose:
    1. Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria
    or
    2. Navitus XO Brandy
,since I dont know these two yet.

  • I love the introduction to such a selective group of holiday’s fragrances. I really think that they are all really good scents although a little bit towards the masculine side. From this collection of fragrances I’ll love to own Xerjoff Alexandria III. I haven’t had the pleasure to smell it but I heard great things about it. thank you for the opportunity to participate in the draw. Commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA.

  • I thought Vert Encens was discontinued. Going to look into that. Going to pull my Cape Heartache sample out, I do love how the notes are on the back of the bottle. Didn’t think of Roja E as a holiday scent. yes, agreed…..very complex. LOVE LOVE LOVE Side Effect, that’s the one I’d love to win. Thanks Steve, wonderful review as always……still missing Carlos. He’d love to be smelling your new creation. USA.

  • Bruno Paolucci says:

Loved Stephen’s video. I just ordered creation e and I can’t wait to crack it open. I’m also interested in Side Effect. Hope I can win a bottle? Please enter me in the draw!
    Thanks

  • All of these sound delightful. Cape Heartache sounds especially interesting with the strawberry.

XO Brandy is on my list. I just recently discovered Navitus, took advantage of their generous sale, and I now have a wonderful smelling collection. These fragrances are amazing, and I’m sure XO Brandy would not disappoint.

Side Effect by Initio also sounds very lovely. I love tonka bean!

Oajan by PDM sounds nice and Christmas-ish. Makes me think of sitting by the fireplace looking at a Christmas tree.

Thanks for the descriptions from both of you. Steven’s videos are always very thoughtful and helpful.

  • Thank you! Steven is always a great and one of the first reviewers I started watching when I began this hobby. Steven always provides concise reviews which I usually find fairly impartial, which is great! I would love to win Side Effect or Oajan! Thank you from Canada. I followed the insta page and my name there is aud_604.

  • sobermindedmusic1 says:

Appreciated that Michelyn included the perfumers behind each scent ( I have to research Sidonie Lancesseur further). Steven’s tastes in this case run similar to mine, though I’d flip the order of Oajan and Side Effect, and Amber Aqualaria would be much higher on the list. I’d want the Electimus if I win .

As always awesome work by steven and michelyn .

  • They all sound very good and a boozy fragrance are always something interesting and curious to discover.
I am in Europe, therefore I pick either Amber Aquilaria or XO Brandy.
    Thank you!

  • This is a fairly unique list. You always hear about winter lists but I honestly haven’t seen a more Christmas oriented list. I thought it was interesting that boozy notes were common throughout the list. Not something I would have thought of but I can definitely see it working here. I am in the US and I get selected, I am very curious about either Xerjoff Alexandria III or Intito Parfums Side Effect.

  • Thank you Michelyn for the concise introduction to these beauties and to Steven for describing the experience and wonder of wearing them. I’ve had the pleasure of owning Creation-E, Oajan and Side Effect and find them excellent for the holiday season.

The fragrances in the drawing would all make a wonderful addition to any collection and my choice for the draw would be Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria as I’ve loved fragrances by Julien Rasquinet. I’m following you on Instagram with username @sngashig and I’m in USA.

Thank you for the very kind giveaways and happy holidays to all.

  • Samuel Xhafer says:

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially when Steven in partnership with Cafleurbon are generous enough to give away some amazing fragrances some of us only wished of owning.

Thank you for the video and list, they all sound amazing. I’ve only smelt Oajan but I’m sure they others listed would also be amazing especially during Christmas and this festive season.

  • My favorite from the list is Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria because the notes really appeal to me, but all of the fragrances are very interesting. Thank you for the opportunity and greetings from Poland!

  • Brian Braverman says:

Would love to win the Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria. I reside in Staten Island, NY (USA). My Instagram name is Killerbee63.
While reading through Michelyn’s piece, one fact really caught my attention. I do own Mancera Red Tobacco and do notice the prominent tobacco and spice notes, but was blown away when stated the scent is classified as an Oud fragrance. Became very interested in Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria during Steve’s video, when he desribed the Agarwood note as being well blended and not animalic. I am familiar with some of their other fragrances and the Oud note can be bit much, so this frangrance is right in my wheel house.

  • I love Michelyn’s notion of what to wear to a holiday party. This list was particularly interesting in that I own a couple of them OaJan and Red Tobaccco, and there are two makers Roja and Xerjoff where I’ve been looking for potential picks to add to my collection. Steven’s comments as always clarify what the key notes are in each of these. Winning a bottle and getting some holiday snow would be a perfect pair! If selected my choice would be Xerjoff Alexandria III.

I absolutely love spicy and sweet sweet, wintery fragrances because because of how festive and cozy they are. I am absolutely in love with with PDM Oajan, and am so intrigued by Creation E and Apple Brandy! Love this article, love the scents, and happy holidays everyone!!

  • Mychelins introducción is very good and It makes me think that I really want to watch the Steven’s video.
The Steven explanations are very accurare and make almost feel any of the perfumes.
I would like to win XO Brandy by Navitus.

As I am in a climate that seems to not be ready to leave behind warm temperatures, the promise of consistent chill winter air is teasing in the morning and late night. It is in those moments I feel able to sneak to reach for my deepest and most cozily enveloping fragrances. After watching the list video and reviewing the write up am excited to get my nose on Tom Ford Vert d’Encens. I am already too far in lust with Cape Heartache and find there is a special space that waits to entertain a realistic pine like discribed in Vert d’Encens.

  • I agree with Michelyn! For me perfumes are like sweater, cozy and stylish.
Cool review (pun intended) by Steven! Well explained.
Winter is my favourite time of the year because I love cold and Christmas! ❤️
A time were we bond with our love ones and share blessings to eachother.
It will be more exciting and complete if we wear and bless them with the scent of our cozy and good smelling perfumes.
I would love to bless them with Initio Side Effect this holidays! ❤️

  • Many thanks to Michelyn and Steven. There’s always enjoy a something special about rich boozy fragrance that intrigues me and make me stand out and not smell like everyone else. I would love to win Creation E sounds like a beautiful composition.

  • victorlrivas says:

    PDM Oajan. US.
Great content, I can’t comment on all of Michelyns boozy selections but Roja parfums creation E , and Initios side effect should definitely be on everybodys top 10.
I only have a sample of Oajan, and would love to own a bottle, can’t get enough of the Fragrance, it smells like holidays, one of my all time favorite! Great selection Steven. Thanks for the time and dedication spent on your channel, we always enjoy it. Happy holidays! Insta @victorrivas8421

  • I am just beginning a personal foray into the perfume world this year and I’m exploring new fragrance. I have yet to get into deeper winter fragrances but have been reading some reviews in preparation for the snowy weather. Both Michelyn and Steve piqued my interest with Tom Ford’s Vert d’Encens. I am interested in the pine notes combined with balsamic touches, sounds delicious! I am currently waiting on a sample of Cape Heartache in the mail before I decide to commit. I would love to try a bottle of Intito Side Effect! I’m located in North Carolina, US

    Xerjoff Alexandria III
    Parfums de Marley OaJan
    Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria

  • Cozy and warm are the words of the day, it seems. That and as Michelyn points out, boozy! As always, I enjoyed Steven’s curation. There are several I’ve had the opportunity to smell (nice) and others I want to. The Kilian Apple Brandy on the Rocks sounds beautiful and the bottle is stunning. I am loving amber so much right now, I’d choose the Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria. I’m in the USA. (Also a Redolessence subscriber and follow the new Instagram page – @frw60)

  • The introduction got me thinking of a fun but cozy holiday party, and I liked how Steven compared the scents to help you get a better feel for them. Initio Side Effect and Navitus XO Brandy are most appealing to me out of these frags. I am from New England.

  • It is time to reach for cozy, comfortable perfumes! Absolutely.
Steven always gives such informative information on his videos. I love that he usually states the longevity and intensity of the perfumes in his reviews. These sound amazing, and I own a few of them, so I will go with the one I do not have. Parfums de Marley OaJan would be my choice to make my holidays comfy & cozy.

  • Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London is one I’ve been interested in for a while now. Stephen picked some great fragrances and Michelyn’s boozy picks are right up my alley. Indiana USA

  • Robert Miguel Carreon says:

These are all great fragrances on the list, but I would choose Tom Ford Vert d’Encens.

  • Michelyn has a good list here with short but concise descriptions, excellent choices for the holiday season leaning towards more mass appealing and less challenging scents. I’ve tried or own most on the list. Steven have a good representation for what you can expect from these fragrances. He seems to bring up Alexandria 3 more than it’s previous iteration Alexandria 2 which seems to have hold the most limelight of the 3. If I had to choose I’d pick Alexandria 3, sounds like the perfect winter scent and it’s quite different than what I usually wear. It’s rare that I’ve been disappointed with a Xerjoff fragrance, luxury niche quality in its finest form.

  • Great video and introduction! I would pick Xerjoff Alexandria III of all the choices. I have a 10 ml decant of II and it is a great, beautiful scent. I am in the US. @kdrawdy77.

  • Mazikeen Smith 24 says:

  • Thank you so much for the opportunity! I am mainly curious about the Alexandria III and PDM Oajan.

  • If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times; Steven is so good at what he does. Same goes for Michelyn. I always love how she, and many of the other contributors, can so effortlessly use words to evoke feeling. When she said “…perfumes that are as cozy and comfy as your favorite Christmas sweater…” I felt that on a spiritual level. My choice would be Oajan by PDM for this exact reason. I recently finished a sample of this fragrance and would LOVE the opportunity to enjoy it for years to come with a larger offering. Thanks as always for the generosity and opportunity guys! Cheers from Illinois!

  • What both great reviews! For Steven’s video, I love how in depth he went into each fragrance and his presentation of the bottles. For Michelyn’s introduction, her descriptions are very intriguing. I have only smelled Creation E before, and her description is spot on. Should I win, I would love Oajan from Parfums De Marly. • Lots of great choices here! I love the combination of spicy, resinous, and boozy. I think winter is my favorite time for perfumes. I love their richness. Every single one of these sound like something I would like. (I love the photos at the top, too!) I do not own any of these. The Tom Ford Vert d’Encens is one I sincerely regret not picking up back in the day. Any idea where it can be found for a not crazy price? In fact, I loved the whole Vert line. Other than Killian, I am pretty ignorant about the rest of these brands. From the description, I think the ones I would most like to try are the Parfums de Marly Oajan or Navitus XO BRandy. I just started following you on Instagram. (@thefragrantjourney). Happy Holidays!

  • Its the time of the year when i can wear my boozy scents and this list did full justice to it. I really liked Roja Parfums Creation-E and Mancera Red Tobacco. Both are my personal favorites. Excellently written by Michelyn.
I am in the USA and if i were to win i would like to win Parfums de Marley OaJan or Xerjoff Alexandria III

Hi. Greetings from Belgium. Of the 10 fragrances Steven presented, I only know (and own) Side Effect, which is a magnificent perfume! If the other ones are as good as that one, my God, they should be very good. Thanks for the nice selection and happy holidays.

  • I love this season and spring too, because all my perfumes from fresh to heavy work good.
I really enjoyed Michelyn choices, especially I love Alexandria 3 and Oajan PdM!!
I need to get my hands on at least four of the ones Steven mentioned in his list.
Love in holidays cozy, gourmand, “happy” perfumes.

  • I appreciated Michelyn’s intro. because it had helpful info., and I especially liked reading about fragrances which are spicy and resinous because I can love fragrances which have, or are resinous, piney, incense, or spicy. I appreciated learning about the fragrances from what Steven and Michelyn said about them. I would love to win any of these fragrances, especially “Oajan”. I live in MD., U.S.A. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I am a subscriber to Steven’s channel, and I follow CaFleureBon on Instagram. My Instagram handle is: @regismonkton

  • MIchelyn has a way with words that really makes alot of these fragrances sound like I need them in my life. I agree completely that when the cold weather and shorter days start I began to gravitate towards the cozy comfy scents. No better time to smell like sophisticated cozy holidays then now! I have been watching stevens youtube channel for years now and I find that everytime he reviews a perfume I own (I own a few on this list) he is very accurate in how I would describe it myself. I have come to trust his reviews and recommendations and love his love and enthusiasm for perfumery.

  • Daphnelemon says:

I live in the USA and would choose pdm OaJan. I’ve read so many good reviews of it and it always sounds delightful, holidays or no. It was also nice to see Michelyn and Steven feature an imaginary authors scent. I too love the stories they tell within their names, and the combo of strawberry and pine is one I wouldn’t have expected to work but was enjoyable when I sampled it.

  • Daphnelemon says:

Oops I forgot to include my instagram handle in my last comment for the bonus entry. It’s @returnwithme (USA, choosing pdm OaJan)

  • ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Michelyn & Steven! I love how Michelyn educates me on the warm scents I crave in winter (those are resins!) and reminds me of holiday slices. Steven is always a go-to for his experiential note-break downs! Thank you so much! I am a Redolessence subscriber and gratefully remember when I asked Steven a question about Killian’s Apple Brandy in the comment section. He replied and helped us pick out the best fragrance! Thank you, Steven! Huge Thank You to Michelyn as well for helping me find sample sets and just being a Lovely human. ❤️ If I were a lucky winner, I would choose Navitus XO Brandy. I crave relaxing by one of our fireplaces in the evening and smelling coffee and spiced Brandy (what a perfect holiday scent). ❤️

  • Michael Prince says:

I loved Michelyn’s Introduction, I agree this time of year the days are shorter and cold. We all want something warm, comforting, spicy, boozy, and perhaps even gourmand leaning. I think Steven came up with a beautiful top 10 holiday and festive list. I love all of his selections that I have tried. The only ones I haven’t tried are Cape Heartache, Alexandria III, Navitus XO Brandy, and Tom Ford Vert D’Encens. I am from Ohio, USA. If I win I would choose Initio Side Effect. I follow Cafleurebon on Instagram my Instaname is michaelprincefragrance

  • I loved that Michelyn invoked that the holiday season calls for boozy, spicy and resinous fragrances. I loved Steven’s review because he chose fragrances that best suit the holidays in NJ which is great for me as I live in NY, USA. To me, Parfums de Marley OaJan seems perfect for the holidays and is the one I’m most interested in getting my nose on if I won!

  • This was a great compilation of holiday scents! My favorites from the list are the boozy fragrances. Warm, cozy and full of bold notes.
I’d love to win Side Effect by Initio Parfums.
I live in the USA (PA)

  • “cozy and comfy as your favorite Christmas sweater but are sophisticated enough for a Holiday party.”

I always try to look good, well dressed up, and groomed, I’m a tailor after all. Boozy, spicy, resins here we go.
Kilian Paris I’m not familiar with, other than Black Phantom.
Roja Dove Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne is my work horse , and Creation-E , boozy and sweet goodness, my date scent.
I know 4 Initio Parfums fragrances , and in my possession is 7.5ml travel sprayer of Side Effect , my favorite.
XO BRANDY, Vert d’Encens and Alexandria III i need to try.
Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London is right up my alley kind of fragrance, not overly aggressive, cozy , slightly sweet, with really round and soft oud . Perfectly hedonistic fragrance i’d love to win.
    Thank you all

  • Such a great list of fragrances
Somehow Alexanria II reminds me of rather unusual mix of sharp aromatics , damp forest and lots of vanilla custards in the base , Alexandria III i don’t know.
Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria is getting high praises everywhere, not just by Michelyn and Steven.
I knew Roja Dove fragrance would be in the list. Since I’m a traditionally trained in Paris Pastry Chef, I can’t help but being heads over heals about Sweetie Aoud , fragrance made to mimic the smell of French Pastry Shop, and particularly freshly baked croissants Creation-E is my second favorite Roja Dove.
It’s a toss up for me between Herod and Oajan, for my favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance , Oajan is a powerhouse.
The only Initio Parfums I know is Side Effect, smells similar to Vanilla Bean Bundt Cake , drizzled with Rum. My pick from the list.
Appreciate Michelyn and Steven co-review , and the giveaway campaign
    USA

  • I always enjoy Steven’s videos and I love all the fragrances that I’ve tried from the list so far, because Fall/Winter is my favourite season for fragrances. I would love to have Oajan by Parfums de Marly! It sounds right up my alley!!
    Love from Switzerland

  • I’m glad seeing Cape Heartache by Imaginary Authors is getting the recognition it deserves on Cafleurebon, one of the most complimented fragrances in my collection. I never smelled such fragrance before.
Creation-E Parfum I prefer to Parfum Cologne, both are great of course.
Side Effect with its boozy tobacco touches i had the pleasure of smelling last Winter, and now have the small 7.5ml atomizer.
Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly, it’s full , balsamic sweet oriental I enjoy a lot .
“cognac-based fragrance with touches of spicy amber and agarwood”
I’m taking Michelyn words for granted
Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London i think is
modern, multifaceted fragrance with a high compliment factor. If I’m lucky enough, the fragrance I would like to win.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

Mich8’s intro was very good, with details that help us to visualize how these scents will fit in with the season. Steven’s review was good, also, if for nothing else but an excellent breakdown of the fragrances (but without the usual enthusiasm, unfortunately).

I live in Waldorf, Maryland, USA, and am following you on IG as @Brygantor_1. As for the ones I’d like to win, I’d like them all, with a preference for :
    Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London.

  • When I read Michelyn’s introduction, what stood out to me was Christmas sweater and holiday party! Made my stomach do a little flip! I love the winter holidays! I appreciate Steven’s choices for festive fragrances and I agree picking a festive scent depends on your mood that day. I have heard of all of these fragrances and I have PdM’s Oajan which is the perfectly amount of smooth spice.

I would love to win Intito Parfums Side Effect.

Thank you for the reviews and the giveaways. In the USA.

Thank you for the fantastic video Steven. I prefer fragrances that are more on the greener aromatic side and skipped the video to look at Tom Fords Vert D’Encens, Alexandria III by Xerjoff and Imaginary Authors Cape Heartache.

I really liked how photorealistic balsamic, rich and green Vert D’Encens sounds. I absolutely love the citrusy terpenic notes of pine resin. It sounds very different from the other TF offerings.

Alexandria III is interesting as well. Love the play of the spices and the agarwood.

I have had the good fortune to smell Cape Heartache and have been angling to own a bottle at some point. It’s such a a beautiful pine fragrance, with an intersting play with strawberry druitiness.

Thank for the nice writeup on all the offerings Michelyn.

I would love to win either TF Vert D’Encens, IA Cape Heartache or Alexandria III

I’m a sophomore in highschool and just recently started watching your videos which have sparked an interest in colognes/fragrances. I figured I could come here and get the chance to possibly start collecting, thank you for this great opportunity. My Instagram is Tristan_Brown_52

  • I feel spoiled by this review, and giveaway, thank you
Vert d’Encens Tom Ford is a fragrance a few of my friends, and family members are wearing, my husband included. Some would say in the opening it’s a manly scent , but wait until it settles down. I really like it then with the sweetness, and the almonds kind of smell.
I need to finally try Side Effect by Initio Parfums
I know Rehab , it’s part of the Hedonist collection.
Amber Aquilaria Electimuss London checks all the boxes
Winter, wind blowing, I’m sitting in front of a fireplace, enjoying the crackling noise , oud chips are burning , and because of the cognac , why not sip some Rémy Martin XO Special? High-quality Cognac, with high-quality cognac fragrance like Amber Aquilaria would be awesome.
Cheers to all Cafleurebon fans here

  • Back in the days , when I was younger I considered boozy , resinous and gourmand fragrances way too mature, and dated for me.Now I think otherwise , my taste evolved, and I do enjoy them quite a lot .
Mancera Red Tobacco, Imaginary Authors Cape Heartache, Kilian Apple Brandy On The Rocks and Roja Dove Enigma in Parfum Cologne concentration are in my possession, 4 out of 10 is not bad at all . I need to compare my Enigma Parfum Cologne , and the more expensive Parfum variation Steven showed in his video .
After some hesitation, I’ll go with Michelyn Holiday fragrance N1 , Oajan Parfum de Marly. In the opening of “Oajan” there’s sharp blast of cinnamon , in the base it reminds me of Oriental delicacies such as halva, and also almonds, marzipan and amaretto.
    Thank you Michelyn, Steven

  • Ariana Pancaldi says:

I would love to win Oajan by Parfums de Marly, Enigma, Red tobacco or honesty any of the fragrances.
In the intro I loved the description of cozy but sophisticated because that is the best description of a winter scent for me. Steven’s review encapsulated this description with his boozy, spicy and warm fragrances.
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina

  • Michelyn’s intro was useful— I hadn’t thought about how those particular qualities were so suited to the time of year. Steven’s video review gives a personal spin to the picks. I’d be happy to win any of these, but would most prefer Alexamdria III. Following on instagram as @mronhubbard. (USA)

  • Like in the song “This Time of Year” , the time for boozy , spicy , ambery, incense fragrances is here.
There are 3 from the draw i know, Oajan Parfum de Marly, Red Tobacco Mancera and Roja Dove Enigma.
I own my favorite Initio Parfums that I’ve smelled, Oud for Greatness, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy Side Effect just as much. The first one is formal occasions fragrance only, Side Effect i think is more versatile , i can wear it going out , with friends, Christmas ginger cookies kind of fragrances are always welcome. I’m happy the fragrance is relying not only on the boozy side, but there’s also gourmand , woody , and tobacco sides complimenting each other. Side Effect Initio would be fantastic
    Thanks for the draw

  • Other than XO BRANDY by Navitus, I’m familiar with all other fragrances in this fantastic giveaway , so I’ll share my thoughts
Apple Brandy On The Rocks by Kilian Paris
Good fragrance, but original Apple Brandy is better. In the new flanker the Brandy is toned down.
    Amber Aquilaria by Electimuss London
Phenomenal scent , opens with a bright, sparking bergamot. Its rich cognac notes form the base of the fragrance , mixed with rich roses – i can almost smell the petals. This is a fragrance for the connoisseur.
    Roja Dove Enigma
I too own the 3 versions
    .Side Effect by Initio Parfums
    .Vert d’Encens by Tom Ford

“is an incense and pine fragrance that immediately transports you to a forest with the scent of incense from a nearby church in the distance.”
Agree, in the base I get a lot of almonds
    Cape Heartache by Imaginary Authors
Unusual mix of aromatic and gourmand
    7.Red Tobacco by Mancera

“According to the Mancera site, it is classified as an Oud fragrance. However, Oud takes a supporting role to the very rich, heady tobacco note that is enveloped in cloud of spicy amber”
    Agree

    Alexandria III by Xerjoff

“which has the same DNA but seems richer”
To me there’s huge amount of Bulgarian rose

I’d love to win Amber Aquilaria
    Thanks a lot

I always love watching these lists to see if there are any new perfumes that I need to try or to get an idea of what these perfumes may smell like or to get an idea of what scent I should wear or what is trendy these days.

I cannot agree more with this list.
I love all those perfumes although I was o my able to test 2 of them from a department store. I would love to try the others

  • This is a solid list of perfumes perfect for the season.
I cannot agree more to the ones I was able to smell previously. I would love to try the other ones.
