Despite coming from the distant island continent of Australia, Howard Jarvis has taken his passion for perfume and created a company that is responsible, natural and made very fine fragrances. Howard has gone back to the proverbial drawing board, donned his lab coat and “alchemist” cap and created some truly beautiful original perfumes. Many have intriguing names like: Ugly Bastard, Jezebel, Naiad and IF.
Senior Editor Tama Blough reviewed the first four Tommi Sooni fragrances and I am particularly fond of Tarantella although like Tama I think all of them are interesting. I wanted to talk to the creative director of Tommi Sooni, Steven Broadhurst, to find out what it’s like to create perfume Down Under.
Both chocolate and vanilla can add richness, depth and sometimes unexpected notes to perfumes and don’t have to be boring and bland.
Considered aphrodisiac by many societies and an important ingredient of many comfort foods, from ice cream to home-made cookies, vanilla and chocolate are important fragrance ingredients especially during the winter months.So let’s get busy with ten draw prizes
