I am so excited about this fragrance!”- Patricia de Nicolaï.

  • Fantastic timing. I’ve been on the hunt for a yuzu fragrance after realizing my wardrobe is lacking a nice fresh citrus! I enjoyed Sebastian’s review and and that he pointed out the salty element to this fragrance. Sounds like a winner! My favorite PdN fragrance is New York Intense, in fact it is one of my favorite fragrances period! From Canada.

  • This sounds interesting as I’m not your typical freshie lover but do enjoy some citrus notes. Sebastian as always is thorough and on point. Liked that he called out the green grassy nuances which is Intriguing. I’m based in the US

  • The notes in this sound gorgeous and am a fan of this house. I used to wear Baladin which I think is discontinued? Would love to try this. Based in New Haven CT as of last month

  • Citrus fragrances are my favorite! Sebastian makes this one sound so happy and uplifting! We could all use this fragrance in our current environment. I live in the USA and my favorite would be Neroli Intense. Thank you!

  • Andrei Artimon says:

Have just 1 perfume from the house , new york intense witch i love , really intrigued to put my nose on this one !! New york , usa.

  • Shamrock1313 says:

Always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews – haven’t tried this one nor the house. It sounds very interesting – the bitterness is what makes me wonder if I would like it. I am a lover of citrus frags.
    Thanks for the giveaway

  • Sebastian gives a very thorough overview of this fragrance. Yuzu sounds like a fantastic alternative to the commonly used citrus notes. From Pennsylvania, USA.

  • Wow this one sounds interesting, am really like yuzu more and more im fragrances so definitely would be interested in the giveaway. Patchouli, guiac, vetiver and grapefruit are some of my favourite notes in perfumery so this sounds right up my alley. Best of luck to everyone entering, blessings from Ifty from London UK

  • I really liked his review because he shared his honest opinion and how this fragrance smells according to his nose. I’m from Lisbon, Portugal and my favorite Nicolaï fragrance is New York Intense, although I also love Cuba Gold Intense, Cap Neroli and Patchouli Intense.

  • Really enjoyed the fact that combines the cut grass green element with the citrus, seems very interesting and I would love to try it.

    I live in the UK.

Favourite Parfums de Nicolai has to be New York Intense.

  • Sebastian mentioned cut grass and I absolutely love that scent. Mixed with the citrus and yuzu Eau de Yuzu sounds like a wonderful summer fragrance. One of my favs from Nicolai is Patchouli Intense. Thanks for another great draw. Mich USA

  • catalina_dragan says:

Sebastian, you got me at the cut grass note. Omg, I looove that smell. and I also image how divine it smells, the bitter citrus notes. I would love, love, love to win the bottle Patricia herself says she’s so excited for. Regards from Romania, EU

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews… This one as well. He said how other notes complement yuzu, which helps a lot while trying to understand the scent. I haven’t tried any Parfums de Nicolai fragrance, but I am about to. There is a niche parfumery in town, I’ll check it out. I am from Zagreb, Croatia.

  • This one sounds so good!! France has been so hot these days and I’m craving for a new freshie adding to my collection. And yuzu is a note that I’ve never tried! Thank you for the opportunity of the giveaway! Good luck to all. Commenting from France EU.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Really enjoyed how Sebastian spoke through the scent journey this fragrance takes you on. I’ve never tried anything from this house but the notes for this fragrance are intriguing to me. Fresh, refined, woody, green, citrusy…like this profile. Appreciate the review and the giveaway opportunity! Best from Virginia, USA.

  • Sebastian’s description of the top notes is what sells this to me – the interplay of the three citruses (petitgrain, grapefruit, and of course yuzu) juxtaposed against the “cut grass” note. Very intriguing. What is also interesting is that with the dry down, the cut grass is bolstered and sustained by the vetiver, an accord that I love. My favorite PdN scent is New York Intense, inspired by the city where I’m based.

  • Enjoy how Sebastian describe fragrances (cut grass note) and as a citrus fragrance lover, I’m very excited about this one. I haven’t tried much from this house, but lately they show up more on Youtube which is great. Luca Turin have talked about much about this house and it proves that Nicolai Parfumeur Createur is a classic niche house. Would enjoy wearing this fragrance on hot days here in Vienna, Austria if I’ll get lucky and win.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  • Sebastian make this sound perfect for the summer & I’m a big fan of yuzu.
I’m in Dublin Ireland & my favourite is New York from Parfums de Nicolai

  • So many in the PdN catalogue that it’s difficult to choose a favourite. Always a supporter of adding a touch of grassiness to a citrus fragrance though. Interesting how the sweetness balances the bitterness of the fruit. Not so sure I’m down the saltiness Sebastian mentioned, but a unique twist nonetheless. Balance is key. Still, I feel like yuzu is one of the more versatile citrus notes as it has so many facets and tends to blend well with florals. Sounds like a winner to me! Canada.

  • Sebastian has spoken highly of this house in the past reviews and this is no different – Yuzu sounds like a great fresh fragrance and I love yuzu/grapefruit combos. I love Baikal from this house- has always appealed to me because of the name 😉
    From NY, USA

  • patrick_348 says:

I don’t know if I have ever smelled a yuzu fragrance, but I like the idea of a sharp citrus fragrance balanced with grass, black pepper, juniper, and patchouli. Sebastian did a good job, as always, describing the notes and the way they interact. I have never smelled a Parfums de Nicolai fragrance, but this sounds very wearable and classy. I am in the US, in North Carolina.

  • Haven’t tried this house yet. I like how Sebastian described it as zingy, bitter and green. Intense at the top but the cut grass mellows it. Would love to try this. IL, USA

  • Sebastian has completely convinced me. I feel like it could be a perfect fragrance for these warmer days.

  • Yuzu is an interesting note. I get a sweet, fizzy grapefruit vibe when I smell it in fragrances. The cut grass note along with patchouli sounds like a sunny summer day to me. Great review as always, Sebastian! My favorite PdN is Odalisque. Commenting from USA.

  • Zingy bitter experience with green touches sound fantastic. I also like the sound of a woody base that includes guaiac and earthy facets. My favorite Parfums de Nicolai fragrance is New York Intense. I live in the US.

  • I am in the US. My favorite Parfusm de Nicolai perfume is New York, which I own. I love the way Sebastian describes notes in perfumes and how they work. A well blended citrus with grass and woods sounds like a perfume I would really enjoy.

  • Diane Davis says:

I live the freshness of yuzu and all of their perfumes are Outstanding!
I live in Ohio and I once tried their musk perfume and it was as gorgeous as it was addictive.

  • I have always enjoyed reviews from Sebastian, very informative! My favorite Parfums de Nicolai’s has always been Cap Néroli. I haven’t tried Eau de Yuzu yet but think I would definitely enjoy as I love everything yuzu.
    — Cincinnati, OH

  • Sebastian seems to fancy so that’s almost always good enough for me. I love yuzu and I love freshie’s so he didn’t have to do any convincing. Would be awesome to grab an new freshie for summer/fall season!

  • I keep hearing about Nicolai’s perfumes! This house is lauded across decades, which speaks volumes to it’s performer’s talents. Sebastian’s description of this fresh, invigorating interpretation of yuzu blended with grassy notes reminds me yet again that it’s time to get better acquainted with these masterpieces….
    Boston area

  • I first smelled yuzu in perfumery in a Heeley fragrance and very much enjoyed it. It definitely has unique nuances, as Sebastian explains. What makes me really excited to try this fragrance is the fresh bitter qualities and saltiness. I have never tried a perfume from this house, but have read about some of their other offerings. From NJ, USA.

  • Great review of a fascinating scent. I liked the description of the scent from Sebastian, as I’m a huge fan of yuzu. Have never tried a Parfums de Nicolai fragrance, but really eager to. Big thanks from Vancouver Canada.

  • jenniferwong695 says:

I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews. Especially now, it is increasingly difficult to sample fragrances before buying. He has the best descriptions… And they are totally on point! I’m from Monterey Park, California. I am not familiar with Nicolai parfums. I would love to learn more!

  • mrmroverhere says:

Love the idea behind this fragrance. I’m a fan of scents that spotlight one particular ingredient, especially when that ingredient is something interesting, yuzu being a great example. I can appreciate that Sebastian felt like no one note really screamed over any of the others, but I still think it’s really fascinating to spotlight this interesting fruit. It’s actually one of my favorite ingredients to cook with when I can get ahold of it, especially when it comes to making desserts and cocktails. I can imagine wearing this while preparing a yuzu-centric meal. My favorite Parfums de Nicolai fragrance is Rose Oud, and my favorite thing about the YouTube video and many of Sebastian’s videos is that he displays images of the notes as he lists them. I think this is a good way to help give the viewer an impression of the scents, even though they can’t actually smell them. Greetings from Memphis. and many thanks for the giveaway.

  • I haven’t tried any scents from this house but I’ve been actively watching Looking Feeling Smelling Great for a while now and his reviews are very thorough and descriptive. Would love to be entered in the giveaway.

  • John Michael Jones says:

I live in Boston MA… and i loves me some Sebastian! After watching this review I feel like I just mowed the lawn & did a cannonball off the high-dive into a pool of refreshing cold water! I cant wait to try this one & explore PDN! Thank you Sebastián for being so genuine and honest. I look forward to your next review!

  • Bryant Worley says:

I appreciated Sebastian pointing out that, if the desire is for a Yuzu-dominant fragrance, this is a pass. But if a grass-dominant fragrance is desired.

I have never tried a Parfums de Nicolai fragrance.

I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.

  • Andrei-Cristian Radescu says:

As with all citrus fragrances, Sebastian is making this one sounding very uplifting and his review made me really curious into trying it.
Since it’s the only one I’ve tried from the house, my favourite one is New York Intense. Greetings from Romania.

  • This sounds very summery and uplifting. I like green and citrusy fragrances. I wonder about that fresh cut grass note.
My favourite Parfums de Nicolai fragrance is Odalisque.
    I live in Romania.

  • Jed Or Alive says:

I always appreciate Sebastian’s attention to how the different notes interact with each other instead of just providing a list of notes. I actually discovered Parfums de Nicolai thanks to Sebastian’s reviews. My current favorite is New York Intense. Located in California, USA.

  • Sebastian’s description of yuzu citrusy freshness mixed with cut grass got me interested in this juice! My favourite Nicolai so far is Baikal Leather. Greetings from Slovakia.

  • What I enjoyed most was the insight into another yuzu scent. It’s so note that I think is so under utilised. So it’s great to learn more about this offering from the house.

My favourite is musk intense by nicholI.

    I’m from Ireland, EU

  • I would love to try this as Sebastian talks about grass notes which sounds amazing. I’ve only had the chance to try Fig Tea so I would love to explore more. I am in U.K.

  • Wow this sounds amazing! Love Justin’s review and I love how he brings this brand to my attention, having not encountered it before.

I hope to win so I can take Yuzu to my home in Liverpool UK and let everyone have a good sniff!

  • Yuzu is such a fragrant and tasty fruit. I would love to smell as part of a perfume. I have been looking for a proper citrus fragrance for quite a while now and this seems like a winner! Thanks for the great review and the opportunity! Living in the EU

  • notoginseng37 says:

Yuzu is my favorite citrus, in food and in fragrance. Sebastian’s description makes this sound very unique, I like the combo of fresh grass and guaiac because Yuzu can be quite sharp. Favorite from Parfums de Nicolai is hands down New York Intense, on my BF mostly, but occasionally I borrow. From Nevada USA

  • Sebastian is always so precise and detailed in his descriptions. This blend of a not so common citrus fruit (yuzu) and green herbal notes and saltiness makes it sound both casual and quite exotic at the same time.
I have never tried Parfums de Nicolai before and I am in the EU.

  • I love Nicolai’s perfumes! Thank you for such a detailed review, especially pointing out the different nuances of this perfume.

My favourite Nicolai is New York Intense. Thanks for the draw! I live in EU.

  • Fabian Kaunzner says:

Sebastians descriptions in his reviews are always great, Yuzu is really a great refreshing note. This fragrance sounds absolutely perfect for right now, will check this one as well as this house out.

  • Sebastians reviews are always something I enjoy, his precise description of the fragrances are especially great. This fragrance sounds absolutely great right around now. Will have to check this fragrance out.

  • Notes: Yuzu, lemon leaf, juniper, grapefruit, patchouli, guaiac. I am intrigued by the notes especially patchouli being my favourite note. I am intrigued by the notes especially the blending and smoothness of this concoction that Sebastian referred to in his video. My favourite from this house is Patchouli intense. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • ALTUM VILLARE says:

good morning everyone my favorite thing about sebastian’s video is the fact that I have discovered a note never heard before, the interesting yuzu … my favorite of nicolaii remains cap neroli even if I am curious to hear this new fragrance greetings from Italy

  • Notes: Yuzu, lemon leaf, juniper, grapefruit, patchouli, guaiac. I am intrigued by the of Yuzu which I have not encountered before in perfumery. It is supposed to smell like a cross between grapefruit and mandarin orange. Being a fan of citrus this sounds like a fragrance that is right up my street. The fact that no note jumps out at you as Sebastian referred to in his video just goes to show the quality and refinement that you expect from this house. My favourite from this house is New York. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • In the dead heat of the summer who doesn’t like a blast of citrus with green undertones?
According to Sebastian’s review, the most interesting aspect of this perfume for me, is that it’s fresh and salty but not going to an aquatic direction. Thank you for the opportunity to try something like this, since I am not familiar with this house. Regards from Athens, Greece.

  • I love the initial photo of the perfume with a moldy yuzu. Made me laugh … My favourite from parfums de Nicolai is Le temps d’une fete.
    I’m in Slovenia.

  • My favorite Parfums de Nicolai fragrance is Dansons la Cappucine, it is so special to me. The graphic content is so clean in Sebastian’s review and his words bring the freshness into the hot office where I work right at this moment. I live in Romania

  • Another informative review by Sebastian! Watching his review is one of the things that I look forward to every day. A yuzu perfume with a salty element how intriguing that is! Hope I get to try this out. I haven’t tried any perfumes from this house yet.
    Florida, USA

  • A lot of my favorite notes individually and note combos here! Citruses with guaic wood, patcouli, vetiver and spices – sounds very good. Sebastian mentionned also salty quality, interesting. My favorite citrus note is cedrat and my fav Patricia de Nicolai fragrance is Patchouli Intense. I am from the EU and I follow Sebastian’s channel, so I wanna participate in this giveaway – many thanks for organising it!

  • I enjoy the video because it clarifies what to expect from the Fragrance, I am from Texas, which this Fragrance would work very well due to climate and my favorite from the house of Nicolai is BAIKAL LEATHER

  • Citrus+summer is a hit, I never heard of Nicolai de parfums but hope to do so soon. Im in Sweden EU

  • Fantastic review. Im loving everything yuzu. Its the best citrus scent ever. Sadly there are not a lot of perfumes using this note. Prague, Czech republic

  • Kristin Helena Valen Herikstad says:

His reviews are always very informative and describes scents in a really lively way, and this review was no different! I always know from the reviews if I’d love the scent or not. This particular scent I know I’d love! Thank you so much!

  • Sounds great I like the idea of grassy bitterness
USA reader and my favorite is Patchuli intense.

  • justin.ungureanu says:

I think yuzu is the perfect citric smell thanks to its bitterness that gives to it a more mature vibe. This scent sounds perfect for hot summers days! Sebastian always offers a very detailed description of the perfumes he is talking about and I really trust his tastes.
    Vienna, Austria

  • Deborah Gilmore says:

I’ve been searching for the perfect fresh scent so this sounds remarkable. I like that Sebastian gave a very thorough review on the notes. To date I’ve only tried Fig-Tea from Parfums de Nicolai and I love it. It is one of the few niche full bottles that I own. Living in an area that’s very hot and humid during the summer I think Eau de Yuzu would be perfect.

  • I am going to like this fragrance, Sebastian convinced me. I already enjoy the Yuzu in Issey Miyaki’s L’Eau d’Issey and even though Sebastian felt like Yuzu does not really scream over any of the others notes, I still think it’s something I will enjoy wearing this summer.
I like that Sebastian displays images of the notes as he lists them. It helps me to get a better impression of the scents.

I have tested Parfums de Nicolai Rose Oud, but I’m just not an Oud and Rose fan. I’m more of a Citrus fan.

    UK

  • wandering_nose says:

I appreciate Sebastian’s comprehensive review. As opposed to him though, I would definitely prefer this one to Cap Neroli – love aromatic citruses, and with the addition of freshly cut grass along with patchouli and musk it can only be amazing. My favorite from PdN is Ambre Cashmere Intense, I almost chose it for my birthday present this year :). Based in Ireland

  • I have never worn a perfume with the theme of yuzu it is a citrus that I do not know at all so I would like to discover this perfume. Besides, I love Nicolai, my favorite scent is Patchouli Intense. But I also really like Neroli intense, Incense oud, and New-York. I haven’t tried Baikhal leather yet but it’s on my wishlist. Usually I don’t wear citrus scents they don’t last long on my skin or clothes. I live in France, UE

  • I always love Sebastian’s reviews. As he describes Eau de Yuzu, a sparkly fragrance, great for summer. Wonderful citrus notes and patchouli and vetiver. Sounds beautiful. I dont have any Parfums de Nicolai. This would be my first! USA

  • Honeydew Crenshaw says:

always love a good Sebastian review – certain to appease the patch-hoe in us all

  • Sebastian‘s Channel is my daily bread. I enjoy the stimulus to test new fragrances. My favorite PdN-scent and one of my most preferred fragrances is New York Intense. I say it with Sebatian‘s words: it‘s to die for. Greetings from Germany.

  • Nice review that highlighted refreshing, green, and salty notes of this fragrance. I’m happy to see a draw for the latest fragrance by de Nicolai, a house I very much love. My favorites include Musc Intense, Neroli Intense, and Rose Royale. I love the 30 ml bottles! I am in the USA.

  • marcopietro says:

Yuzu is one of my favorite notes, especially in summer. I like how Madame de Nicolai works citrus notes and I love her Cedrat Intense. Here a new sparkling, fresh, slightly bitter fragrance that I imagine constructed with the usual class and skill of the House. My favorite in its catalogue is still NYintense, a masterpiece,no doubt!
    I live in Italy
    Thanks!

  • doveskylark says:

Sebastian’s review reminded of when I lived in Japan and how I used to put whole yuzu in the bath to scent the water. I liked Sebastian’s description of the bitter notes and also the fresh cut grass note.
I love New York from this house.
    I live in the USA.

  • I enjoyed the detailed explanation of the note breakdown and of the experience of Eau de Yuzu by Sebastian. Explaining that it’s not only Yuzu, but a lot more. He gives an almost photorealistic impression. Which makes me curious to try it for real. The combination between fresh, green and citrus sounds great! Summery but refined and different. I’m from the Netherlands and my favorite Parfums de Nicolaï perfume is New York Intense.

  • I have so many favourite Nicolais- Fig Tea, Sacrebleu, Vanille-Tonka and Eau d’Ete. I’m intrigued by the green cut grass notes in this one from Sebastian’s review. I’m in the UK

  • This sounds interesting as I’m not your typical freshie lover but do enjoy some citrus notes. Sebastian as always is thorough and on point. Liked that he called out the green grassy nuances which is Intriguing. I’m based in the US. Posting my comment again due an an email issue

  • I most enjoyed the nuances Sebastian discussed. I didn’t know anything about you! I live in the United states and my favorite PdN is Cap Neroli or Le Temps d’une fete. Thank you.

  • Yuzu seems to be the fruit of the moment. I’m seeing it more often than usual, but PDN is a long-established, favorite house of mine, personally. I love the description of the notes, and the addition of patchouli and vetiver, which I love, peak my interest. Thanks for the description and the draw. USA

  • What Sebastian mentioned about the pronounced grassiness is appealing, I feel in love with a Lush product called Grass, made with fresh wheatgrass and citrus notes like Bergamot. If this Yuzu perfume is anything in the realm of that grass and citrus mix of gorgeousness, it will be an instant love. I’ve not tried Parfums de Nicolai, but I have a sample of Violet in Love in my basket at Lucky Scent!

  • Michael Prince says:

Sebastian, great review of Parfums de Nicolai Eau de Yuzu. It sounds like a unique fresh experience with the zesty and bitter citrus mixing with the green grass note, a mild aromatic core, and a nice solid base patchouli, guaiac wood, and vetiver. A nicely blended fragrance so no specific note is dominating the fragrance. My favorite Parfums de Nicolai fragrance is Baikal Leather. I am from the USA.

  • The notes of eau de yuzu are some of my favorite notes. Green lush cut grass and vetiver and patchouli with the zing of yuzu sound very uplifting to me. It is funny that Sebastians take on the fragrance of being grassy in ways reminds me of the Original version of D&G pour homme. To my nose it also had a cut grassynes to it through out it duration. No one else i had smell it could smell and grassynes in it but i sure could. Very uplifting summery smell adding yuzu would be the cherry on top.

  • As always, loved Sebastian’s review. Haven’t tried this house, yet. Eau de Yuzu seems to be a very uplifting fragrance. I liked how Sebastian brought the fragrance notes down to earth. Haven’t tried yuzu in a fragrance, but have smelled it in a Japanese incense, and I like it a lot. I like that it’s a very well balanced perfume, and would love to try it. The grassy notes from vetiver sounds appealing. Thanks for the review and the draw. Writing from the USA.

  • I have Vanille Tonka and i really love it. As always, Sebastian’s reviews are spot on. I love the idea of using Yuzu and I love a citrus in the summer months. It is always so refreshing. Thank you for a great review and thanks to Nicolai Pafumeur-Createur for a marvelous draw. I’m in the USA.

  • This sounds quite delightful especially the fact that Sebastian found everything balanced out so no one one overwhelms the rest. I like citrus fragrances but have not yet tried one with Yuzu. My favorite from Parfums De Nicolai is New York Intense. I’m in USA

  • A very interesting description, thank you, Sebastian & Cafleurebon! I am not particularly fond of all “fresh” perfumes, I have a few favourites and this might be one of them, after the description… aromatic heart and woody base with a tiny salty touch. I would be delighted to try it.
    I live in Romania, EU.

  • Yuzu is one of the citrus notes I generally enjoy. And how Sebastian describes that the other notes build around and complement the yuzu sounds tasty. This would be the first Parfums de Nicolaï for me. Thanks for the generous giveaway. From Denmark, EU.

  • Sebastians review was very thorough and descriptive as always, and It sounds like a very interesting and unique take on a freshy. My favorite from Parfums de Nikolai is New York Intense.

Lovely review like always, full of detail information and insight knowledge. I haven’t had the opportunity to experience any of perfumes from the house of Nicolai but this one for sure interested me quite a bit. I love citrusy fragrance and Eau de Yuzu have all the notes and accords that my heart crave and desire. Commenting from Orlando, Fl. Thank you for another great review…

  • I am a true lover of citrus fragrances, I live for them and smelling and owning this would be a great pleasure.
I am not familiar with other PdN perfumes so this would be a very nice introduction to the house.
    I live in Romania (EU)

  • Reading about this fragrance it sounds so uplifting. Sebastian’s review confirmed that. And I love a summer fragrance with a cut grass element. Citrus and cut grass are quintessentially summer. I have never tried anything from this house. I am in the US

  • I’ve loved yuzu ever since I came across it during a holiday in Japan – its freshness and aromaticity are just so invigorating! I haven’t tried any Parfums de Nicolai fragrances, but I think my favourites would be Cap Neroli and Eau de Yuzu. I really enjoyed Sebastian’s vivid descriptions of the fragrance, which makes me want to try it even more! I live in the UK and would love to be considered for the draw!

  • Thanks Sebastian for this review.
I never tested separately yozu ingredient, but combined with other citrus.
Sebastian pointed out the salty element to this fragrance. Hmm.., I can’t say I am fan of salty perfumes, but with yuzu it will be great.
    I like L’eau de Mixte.

Thank you for the great review Sebasitan. I’m pretty intrigued about Yuzu fragrances, my last one being Carons Yuzu Man, which was pretty lacklustre but nice.

I’ve enjoyed New York and I think this house does citruses pretty well. Definitely one to check out.

    Regards from WI, USA

  • Sebastian says this is fresh with a grassyness and that sounds nicer than the typical citrus fragrances I try. This sounds like a great one for this weather & I hope to give it a try sometime soon. I love this house. I can’t help but wonder what magic she would have done with Guerlain. Thanks for the review & the draw, I’m in the US.

  • As always, Sebastian’s review is very informative and I like that points out that he gets a salty factor to this fragrance. I don’t have a favorite from this house but I am a citrus lover so I really want to try Eau de Yuzu. Kind regards from Illinois, USA.

  • immortano26 says:

Sebastian again! So glad it’s a citrus scent, it’s my top 3 genre. I always listen to Sebastian without video watching(no offense) because i always tryin’ to smell the scent he’s reviewing while listening to him. Worked this time as well. Genius lies in simplicity – this is how i would describe this fragrance. Love it. Poland, EU

  • I look forward to trying out this one. Somehow I find that yuzu is an underused note in perfumery. Sebastian describes a salty aspect that I’m eager to try.
Many thanks for this draw. I live in France.

  • Great review. This one sounds great as I love the scents of yuzu and grapefruit, as well as green scents. It’s always nice to have a new citrus freshie, especially from a house as nice as Parfums de Nicolai. My personal favorite from this house is Patchouli Intense. I’m located in Blue Bell, PA.

  • Always enjoy Sebastian’s thorough and entertaining approach to fragrances. Yuzu, something I’ve enjoyed in culinary applications, I haven’t smelled in perfumery, very intrigued by his thoughts, and the thought of wearing this, and talking about my experience.

  • I’m always looking for an interesting citrus-based fragrance with a twist. Yuzu and citron have something different compared to the usual citrus that I quite enjoy. Maybe it’s the zingy bitterness as mentioned by Sebastian.
I had the chance to sample quite a few creations from Parfums de Nicolai. Cap Neroli, New York Intense, Incense Oud are amongst my favorites. I find most of their creations very balanced and beautifully crafted.

Thanks for the straight-forward breakdown, Sebastian. I haven’t tried this one yet and am excited to get a whiff. NY Intense is my favorite from PdN. Also really like Cuir de Cuba, Incense Oud, and Patchouli Intense. Writing from Pacific Northwest, US.

  • Great review by Sebastian! I loved the in depth description. Yuzu is one of my favorite notes because it gives me that pick me up or zing if you will. I also love that this some of the green and woody notes to balance it out. I have purchased several fragrances from Parfums de Nicolai and have never been disappointed. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the US!

  • I always love Sebastian’s reviews. I’ve tried a yuzu tea before and appreciate the nuances of this citrus. I haven’t tried anything from this house yet though. I live in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • I love fresh scents. Specially for our SOCal temperatures, right now in the middle of a heatwave what a great way to combat this nasty weather with this amazing fragrance, and the review makes it sound a really uplifting fragrance. Love that it has a salty element to it.
    My favorite Nicolai is Baladin.
