Creative Director Jean-Phillipe Clermont of Atelier Des Ors in collaboration with Marie Salamagne introduces four new fragrances. Nuda Veritas, Crépuscule des Âmes, Chœur des Anges comprise the new Atelier Des Ors White Collection. Atelier Des Ors Bois Sikar is the ninth fragrance in the Black Collection (the Mayan word for smoking) inspired by cigars as Creative Director Jean-Phillipe Clermont is an aficionado.
The Search for Happiness is the central theme of Atelier Des Ors White Collection. Art Nouveau, Vienna’s Secessionist Group and Gustav Klimt’s Beethoven Frieze (1902) are key influences. This monumental art work was completed for the 14th Vienna Secessionist Exhibition to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Beethoven’s death.
The olfactive connection between Atelier Des Ors Nuda Veritas, Crépuscule des Âmes, Chœur des Anges, is a unifying thread of orange tonalities – Orange Blossom, Blood Orange and Mandarin. The evocative scents and hues of orange, amber and honey represent radiance and golden light.
Atelier Des Ors Nuda Veritas (The Naked Truth) is the first in the triptych- a white floral:
Top: bergamot, transluzone (aquatic nuance), orange flower petals
Heart: Jasmine Sambac, jasmine absolute from China, osmanthus absolute, tiare flower
Base: patchouli, tagete absolute, ambroxan, musk, oakmoss.
Atelier Des Ors Crépuscule des Âmes (Twilight of the Souls) is woody and aromatic
Top: Mandarin, cardamom, clary sage
Heart: Hysope, incense, pimento berries
Base: Hyraceum infusion, patchouli
Chœur des Anges (Choir of Angels) is radiant and floral
Top: Blood orange, blackcurrant, pear
Heart: Orange flower absolute, carrot seeds absolute, osmanthus
Base: Cedar wood, amber, Provencal honey
