Throughout our Esxence 2018  Best of Show and trend reports, you have been reading about a new brand from Luc Gabriel of The Different Company called Wide Society Le Parfum de Liberte,  in collaboration with perfumers Emilie Coppermann and Alexandra Monet. The new collection has impressed all of us for its accessible price points, eco-conscious components such as recyclable packaging, its stylish bottles, lovely presentation of mini vanity cases and most importantly quality ingredients.

Wide Society is a is a collection of six absolue de parfums that are made in France  and ready to follow you wherever you go! Wide Society perfumes promise, “0% fake 100% useful and responsible, no cello wrap, only recy- cled or recyclable material, glass, cardboard, aluminum, as little plastic as possible”.

 Wide Society Acqua Travels (Alexandra Monet): The anti-jet lag scent (we really could use this) with notes of Fresh infusions, Mint, Verbena, Bergamot

Wide Society  Up in The Air (Alexandra Monet): a leather fragrance with notes of Rum, Chili, Birchwood, Vanilla, Saffron, Leather

Wide Society Sign of The Times (Emilie Copperman) is cozy like a cashmere throw with notes of Grapefruit, Sage, Cashmere wood, Lebanon, Cedarwood,

Wide Society Nubes was created by Emilie Copperman and evokes clouds and sky with notes of Angelic roots, Bergamot, Violet, Iris, Cyclamen, Vetiver, Myrrh, Musk. Ermano wrote of Nubes “a refreshing mix of earth and sparking notes”  

Wide Society Suite #6 (Emilie Copperman) reminds us of entering our hotel room after a long day with notes of Nashi Pear, hazel tree leaves, jasmine sambac, Heliotrope, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Vanilla (Lauryn calls this a delightful fruity floral dripping with pear juice.

Wide Society Nigh Train ((Alexandra Monet) reminds us of romantic and unexpected encounters after dark with notes Rose Absolute, Rose Essence, Sambac Jasmin, Patchouli and Fur Musk

  • Wonderful! The environmental cost of perfume is easy to overlook. I am excited to try Wide Society scents and hope they will find a retail avenue in the US.
