For months, I have been in aromatic bliss and oh the ecstasy of it! When I tell you Monica Miller of Skye Botanicals really is a Diana at her craft, don’t just take my word try the line, it absolutely speaks for its self.

 The Amber Perfume from SB is heavenly, sweet and oh so smooth. It makes me clinch me teeth and imagine biting down into the most delectable gourmand treat. It is simply mouth watering good and has such a sensual quality to it. Who knew that amber could be so intoxicating, I have gone back to experience the sensation of warm Siam Benzoin resin, tingling with Spanish Cistus and French Amber so many times I can’t even count them.

 

Most times when Amber resin is paired with Cistus leaf it can have a very sharp nose at first before drying down into the smoothness of the amber resin. In this fragrance, the benzoin really helps the sensual quality of the perfume, but still doesn’t account for the buttery smooth crème that you experience from start to finish. It is very long lasting and languid.

 

However, what makes this perfume an exceptional fragrance is not just the solid bass accord, but the thoughtful hints of infused roses, vanilla bean and woods peaking through the façade. It is love potion of the highest degree and just took me back to the movie Love Jones. Monica Miller really hit a home run with this Amber Perfume; it is absolutely warm and enraptured me in bliss.

I have experienced only one other smoke of Amber in this category and its available only as a pure resin incense. I am hooked, the Skye Botanical Amber fragrance is currently in constant rotation in my fragrance wardrobe
