The 4th Annual Le Labo City Exclusives Red Carpet Event (September 1- 30, 2014) “What Should I Wear?”

le labo city exclusives 2014 sept 1-30, 2014

Le Labo has 9 City Exclusives

Every year, it feels like a red carpet event when Le Labo releases the City Exclusives to the world for one month only. What should I wear? No, not Vanille 44 that's what I wear every year.. Putin be damned, why not the erotic Benjoin 19, but Managing Editor Tama Blough is sure to be wafting this.  My dress is black leather perhaps Cuir 28? Limette 37 is my current favorite but would I be tipping my wrist?

From Sept 1st to Sept 30th, 2014 – 4 weeks only!

This year’s nominees:

Baie Rose 26: Chicago (Franck Voelkl)

Cuir 28: Dubai (Nathalie Lorson)

Gaiac 10: Tokyo (Annick Menardo)

City Exclusives honor the Le Labo Boutiques, Deputy Editor Nancy Knows thinks there should be one in Schenectady just because the name would be rather cool.

Tell us your city; maybe Fabrice Penot and Eddie Roschi have plans for a new boutique in Warsaw or Rio? You never know.

  • I’d be curious to know what they would do for Vienna! I wear clothes and fragrances to compliment (or sometimes change) my mood, so I say wear what feels good to you.

  • Hmmmm…. Venice, Vienna or New Orleans.

I’d wear something in a mossy, bronze-y green velvet, possibly corseted.

I’d layer Le Labo Iris 39 with a bit of L’ Artisan Fou d’ Absinthe, and I’d go barefooted.

  • Limette is my current favorite EIC and yes I am certain I would be tipping my wrists 🙂 I think I would love to see an Exclusive for either Lima or Cuzco Peru… Definitely can’t wear the same thing year after year EIC people do notice 😉 Just sayin…

  • I would be curious to smell your tribute to Berlin Germany. It is my favorite city in the world. Effervescent with life and energy, hip and urban, edgy and a little bit dirty, happy and fun, but also with palpable historic tragedy in the air and emanating from its structures. It’s a fascinating, deeply emotional place that today is buzzing with positivity and life.

  • Nancy Knows says:

I”m a Nathalie Lorson fangirl so I’m voting for Poivre 23. Schenectady aside, a Le Labo boutique would fit perfectly in the design district of Miami. 🙂

  • Cynthia Richardson says:

I would like to see a tribute to New Orleans – lemon, wild lavender, jasmine, smoke and leather.
