One of the most talented natural perfumers on the planet is Alexandra Balahoutis of Strange Invisible Perfumes (she was a Guest Contributor who wrote the brilliant In Defense of Natural Perfumery as Olfactory Art article and was part of Our Perfumers Workshop series on Hydro Distillation by Contributor David Falsberg of Phoenicia Perfumes). She has won a number of CaFleureBon awards throughout the past few years including Best Natural Perfume in 2011 for Dimanche, a beautiful sheer gourmand.
