London’s Fashion Week has just begun and if you are at the Meadham Kirchhoff S/S 2013 Fashion Show on September 18, 2012, there will be heady oriental fragrance wafting through the air.

This season their collection entitled A Cautionary Tale, the theme of which the designers describe as “a personal reflection on creative expectations and the ensuing liberation.” To scent this collection Ben & Edward have chosen one of Penhaligons’ most feminine and dramatic fragrances: Cornubia.

“Choosing Cornubia was easy as we wanted something reminiscent of old world beauty. We also loved the packaging, the ribbon bow and the name Cornubia.” Meadham Kirchhoff

For the past seven seasons, Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff have teamed with Penhaligons London to scent their catwalk.

Cornubia, originally launched in 1991 and relaunched in 2009, is a glamorous oriental rich with musk, woods and swathes of cherry-sweet vanilla and heliotrope. Meadham Kirchhoff won the Emerging Talent – Ready-to-Wear award at the British Fashion Awards 2010.
