 I awarded Roja Dove “Best Buzz (our Best of Scent 2013) The British Are Coming”, when his uber luxe line Roja Parfums was introduced in the USA. Roja Dove Creation-E Parfum (known as Enigma outside the USA) debuted that year and brought elegance and understated sexiness to luxury perfume. With perfectly blended boozy and tobacco notes, it is one of the best in the range, according to Sr. Contributor Sebastian Jara, who also lauds Creation-E Pour Homme as “one of the finest examples of contemporary perfumery”.

I often  imagine which of Roja’s fragrances  would suit a British Actor or character.  I can imagine Benedict Cumberbatch wearing Creation E-Pour Homme Parfum; maybe as Sherlock Holmes (tobacco notes) or of course the name of the scent evokes his  portrayal of real-life hero Alan Turing in the 2014 “The Imitation Games”. Turing cracked the Nazi “Enigma Code” and helped turned the tide of World War II.
