Bursting open with a delightful indulgence of plump ripe saffron infused peaches, Peach Tree Garden, an oil based perfume is a rarity in natural perfumery and evokes “the fleeting yet timeless beauty of falling fruit in an overgrown garden.” The leathery sweetness of labdanum, the dank hay like fecundity of tobacco and the dark depths of a beautifully luxurious oud shine through to a fruit that begs to be eaten.  Forbidden fruit, that one imagines eating while lying on clean white sheets, the juice running down your lips and onto the bed; sated you fall asleep.

Hyper Realist Peach tree painting  Michelyn Digital

The bright fruitiness of this perfume is built up with delicious layers like oils on a canvas- yuzu and osmanthus and a deliciously mysterious peach accord that is hyper-realistic as if you can taste the perfume plucked from the tree. A spice backed Turkish rose supports this and acts as a bridge between the fruity beginnings and the rich and fervid balsamic dry down.

Notes: Saffron, Yuzu, Bergamot, Peach, Osmanthus, Turkish Rose, Tobacco, Ambrette, Dark Patchouli, Spices, Labdanum, Vetiver, Oudh.

Disclosure: I received my sample of Peach Tree Garden from Phoenix Botanicals (Irina Adam), opinions my own.

  • This is a must have for me. I love fruity scents, especially peach. Combined with saffron, labdanum, tobacco and oud. This looks like an absolute masterpiece. I love the fragrance Kiste which is a peach/tobacco. Oud is becoming my favorite note/ingredient in fragrances. I’m wearing a pure oud oil at this very moment called Yusuf by the famous Ensar Oud. It’s beyond outstanding.

  • I live in the US as well. Sorry for forgetting to answer that in the previous statement.

I would love to sniff it and win it based on this sentence only: “Bursting open with a delightful indulgence of plump ripe saffron infused peaches, ”

I am a reader from the EU.

Thank you! wish you all the best!

I would love to win this. Peaches are my favorite fruit. We used to have a couple peach trees in our back yard when i was young. Nothi.g better than a ripe peach right off the tree. Such a wonderful happy smell to wear on a sunny day.

  • I grew up in a house with a peach tree in the backyard. I remember having so much fun climbing it! Ahh, the scent of nostalgia 🙂

  • Wonderful review! I would very like to win this perfume. It sounds so fabulous. I very like the scent of peach, and I also very like the other notes. Thank you for the chance. I live in Europe.

  • Peach is one note I have a hard time falling for. The peachiness of Mitsouko is about the only way I have really liked it, otherwise it usually feels strangely incomplete as a note, a little too simple. But like a diligent perfumista, I do keep trying. 🙂

I’m in the USA, thanks for this peach of a drawing.

  • Mmm. Sounds like a delicious spring fragrance. My preference is usually towards natural perfumes, so I would love to try this (I have not yet experienced Phoenix Botanicals)! I live in the US. Thanks so much for the drawing.

  • Yumm!!!

This sounds like a delightful meeting of light and dark scents.

Plus I am a sucker for anything osmanthus and peach >.> mmmmm

I am in the US ^^ Thank you for the draw!

  • Mmm, a peach orchard sounds lovely. I always dreamed of being married in a peach orchard, and this sounds divine. The contrast between the hay/labdanum/oud/peach sounds really perfect! Thanks for the draw, I’m in the US!

  • That sounds yum. Peaches are my favorite fruit and I love the smell. Sounds great. Thanks for the draw. USA.

This review by Zee reminds me two notes are becoming more frequent such as Peach and Saffron. this is also an oil-based perfume which as Zee notes, is, indeed, a rarity even in natural perfumery. Quite intrigued by this perfume with realistic peach note. thanks a lot for the draw. I am in the US

I’d love to be in this draw for the scent-image of ripe fruit in an overgrown garden. I absolutely love fruit handled with a deft hand in perfumery, and this seems like a prime example of it. Any review that uses “fecundity” has me! I’m in the US

  • I’d love to win this scent because Zee cited my absolute favourite line from my absolute favourite poem of all time, in her review: “Do I dare to eat a peach?” Gosh, I can already imagine what this might smell like!!

    I’m in Canada. Thanks 🙂

Living in US , this perfum will bring back all my chilhood memoirs I had with my granma who would always buy us peaches and that sweet smell would linger and still lingers when I smell the peaches.

  • Peaches are such an iconic fruit in perfumery since Guerlain created the magical Mitsouko back in 1919. I love the smell that peaches exude off the tree in the summer, makes my mouth water just at the thought. I’d love to win this perfume, natural perfumery intrigues me and this seems like the right one to convert me. I live in the EU.

  • I can’t wait until the weather warms up more outside to wear this boldly. It takes a minute to warm up on your skin and then WOW! But on a bit of a steamy day this will make heads turn. If you love peach/osmanthus you need to try this. I’m flattered at how excited everyone is about the review. It really is beautiful.

  • Richard Potter says:

  • I live in the USA. I LOVE peaches and have played with isolates previously. I love aromatherapy and perfume. My favorite fun hobby. I would So appreciate experiencing how a master does it.

  • Mmm. Sounds intoxicating. One of my fave frags is Kiste, witj its peach and tobacco combo, so I would imagine that this’ll wow me. In the US.

Congratulations to Irina for being selected as a finalist for the 2016 Art & Olfaction Awards in the Artisan category!
I would love a fragrance like this for the Spring. It sounds like it has a great combination of notes going on, besides the peach note. I don’t own any fragrances that have peach in it, aside from a body spray from Bath and Body Works.
    I live in the U.S.

  • Evangeline Richeson says:

Irina’s perfume’s are magical creations. I would like to win because Peach Tree Garden is likely to be more of this same otherworldly magic.

  • Hannah Hulett says:

After a long dark winter that sprung many challenges and brewed grief and hardship upon my most cherished ones, I long for the sweetness that summer has to offer to bring me peace and harmony. Rebalancing my heart and mind after enduring the gauntlet of caretaking in all forms. My body and soul feel strong but hardened. The epitome of ripe Summer to me is a luscious peach dripping with golden honeyed sweet juices. I live in Hood River Oregon in the United States, a small town known world wide for it’s windsurfing, apples and pears. Although we may be known for our tarter green fruits, i have many friends who have grown peaches on their orchards and I have always felt them to be my soul fruit. To merge my great love of natural perfume and peaches would make me feel like royalty. I am only at the tip of the iceberg with regards to my abilities in botanical perfume, certainly I can not go into any project hoping for any specific outcome let alone aiming for a specific fruit smell, especially something as challenging as peach. My curiosity consumes me on what the likes of powerhouses such a saffron and patchouli would do with peach notes. I have always admired the work of Phoenix Botanicals from the botanical perfume concepts to the scented balms and creative clean photos. I applaud the beautiful medicine you send out to the world, please continue the good work! In peace and awe,
    Hannah

  • Kathy van says:

Congratulations Irina for being selected as a finalist for the Art and Olfaction Awards. Zee, your review just make me dream of wandering into a peach orchard garden filled with juicy peaches. The peach scent took me back to a school field trip visiting a peach garden that were bloomed with flowers as I walked through the aisle of peach trees. ” fruitiness of this perfume is built up with delicious layers like oils on a canvas …” “Do I dare to eat a peach”?…”forbidden fruit,…” I gotta try this perfume. Thank you for the draw. I live in U.S.

  • Evangeline Richeson says:

^^ I live in Benicia, California, USA! See comment above! Best of luck to all.

  • Congratulations Irina for beong selected! Concerning this scent, I am not a fruity girl bit I love peachy perfumes, my favourite being Mitsouko , yes! and 1869 of Histoires de Parfums, so, I would be happy to smell this one.
