Sentifique is a Swiss perfumery located in Zurich and founded in 2012 by Friedemann Ramacher. He is a Swiss architect and Designer and the collection's mission is quite clear, and these days unique. First, there is terroir, 80 percent of all the ingredients used in his luxurious fragrances are of Swiss origin.  Friedmemann also uses young perfumers who have not made a name for themselves yet, with the inaugural collection signed by Andreas Wilhelm. The name "Sentifique" is a play on words contracting "Senteurs magnifiques" (French for "magnificent scents").  All Sentifique fragrances play on the idea of glamour and sensuality.

Anne Parillaud makeup nikita daim rouge

French Actress Anne Parillaud as Nikita and Sentifique Daim Rouge (red suede)

Daim Rouge is a sexy rebellious perfume  inspired by the anit-heroine in  Nikita. Erotic musk  meets soft supple suede leather and is combined with sweet honeyand cocoa which sets the stage for a velveteen  rose. A girl secretly leaving the house to go to a party and has the time of her life. You smell the aromas of her skin, her make-up,  whiffs of her wild side and her sensitivity – you can't resist, fall for her. My personal favorite and compliments galore.  Notes: Suede Leather, Rose Absolute, Red Berries, Honey, Cocoa Extract, Guajak Wood

Sentifique Dangereuse Sean Connery and Ursula Andress behind the scenes of Dr No Sentifique Testostérone

Dangereuse is truly sophisticated; a perfume for women who love luxury and have that je ne sais quoi confidence that is never showy. The stunning actress Ursula Andress comes to mind when I wear Dangereuse.  The smooth luxurious aura of musk and sandalwood is the backdrop for the  Iris Florentina Absolute, which is the star of this perfume. The scent is sexy but also tender. It totally fascinates me and it seduces every man I meet. No doubt,  if you love Iris perfumes, you will want a full bottle. Notes: Iris Florentina Absolute, Coconut Milk, White Musk, Mysore Sandalwood, Civet

Testostérone: The alpha male has often been the inspiration for  men's fragrances.  Trying to capture the strength and power of a man has been the goal of many perfumers. Testostéroneachieves this. Birch Tar, Spices and Oud in combination with sensual ambergris and patchouli crystals create a scent that is rugged and erotic at the same time. Rough but polished; it is the perfect counterpart to "Dangereuse" and smelling it on a man always blows my mind. Notes: Medicinal Spices, Birch Tar, Patchouli Crystals, Ambergris, Oud

Grace Kelly and Cary Grant Cote D'Azur To Catch a Thief and Cèdre Sacré

Cèdre Sacré  takes you on a trip to Mediterranean. Lemon peel, burning cypress branches, a hint of oud and African incense, which has stunning fruity aspects. Also it has the personality of the French Riveria: relaxed and elegant. Cèdre Sacré works day, night , and smells incredible on both men and women. Notes: Sicilian Lemon Peel, Cedar Wood, African Incense, Cade Oil, Oud

Party

Party is in heavy rotation when the weather is warm. While many summer fragrances are characterized by fresh notes, Party combines warm elements with citrus and spices provide an aromatic kick. I  love its upbeat vibe and the truth is that Party reminds me it's ok to  flirt: Party is fun and  makes me smile. Notes: Pimento, Magnolia Blossom Absolute, Mandarin Peel, Aldehydes

Disclosure: Some of the perfumes owned by Bettina,  other samples provided by Friedemann Ramacher. Opinions our own.

Art Direction: Michelyn Camen. I chose icons of glamour for the art. Sentifique is not currently available in the USA.

I like the sound of several of them, but the one I think I’d like the most is Cèdre Sacré. Good for Ramacher for giving young guns a chance.
    U.S.

  • As a lover of iris, I’m smitten with Dangereuse, because iris and sexy musk sounds divine! I’m intrigued by Sentifique using up and coming perfumers and ingredients native to Switzerland. Thanks very much for the opportunity, I’m in the US.

  • fazalcheema says:

This def. looks like a line that will appeal to me. as I read the descriptions of different fragrances, the first words that came to my mind were ‘clean dirty’. These fragrances use ingredients I enjoy, pay tribute to classic perfumery but are also modernized. my choice will be Testostérone. thanks so much for the generous draw. I am in the US

  • The perfume I would like to win is Testostérone. What intrigues me about Sentifique Zurichperfume is native ingredients 80% are from Switzerland. This is my first experience with the house of Sentifique Zurichperfume.
    I am James from America

  • Interesting that 80% of the ingredients are sourced locally, doesn’t that limit the palette somewhat?
I’m a sucker for gourmands, I’d like to win Diam Rouge. I live in Singapore

  • Sentifique sounds like a great line! Most perfumes tend to come out of France or Europe and the USA. To have a perfume house that uses 80% of ingredients of Swiss origin is wonderful.

Another poster mentioned that this may limit the palette somewhat, but I disagree and think that it’s not about the limitless palette, but rather the creativity used in the blending of the various notes. I also love that this house stays true to its origins as a Swiss company. I love the use of local ingredients when it comes to food and I think this is a great idea for perfumes.

I’m loving all the descriptions of the different fragrances, but Dangereuse just stands out to me! If it’s as beautiful as Ursula Andress, then it is probably a gorgeous scent!

Thanks Cafleurebon for profiling perfumes that us Americans may not be able to find or experience yet. I’ve yet to try anything from this house, but I would love to win Dangereuse. I live in the USA.

    Thank you!

  • My first choice would be Dangerouse, I seem to be going thru a heavy Iris phase. Loved the artwork which makes the scents sound SO great! i’m in the USA. Never heard of the line, but I am seriously intrigued!

  • Elizabeth T says:

There are so many amazing Swiss perfume houses… Tauer, Ys Uzac, Vero Profumo… how can this one be less than fantastic?? I hadn’t heard of the house yet, so thank you for bringing it to our attention! I like that 80% of the ingredients are Switzerland-sourced. If I had to choose one, it would be Daim Rouge, as a leather-rose combination, if done right, is unbeatable… and I’ve never tried one of those with a cocoa note!

I’m in the US. Thank you for the draw!

  • This house sounds exciting! I love the concept of terroir (use that in my own art) and sourcing 80% of the ingredients locally. And as much as I’m a fan girl of known noses, I’m always excited about young new ones.
I’d pick Daim Rouge (though Testosterone sounds insanely great). In the US. Thanks for telling us about another new great-sounding house.

  • All the fragrances sound divine!!! I like that he uses mostly all ingredients from his country. All of my fragrances are from France except a few bottles of Jo Malone. Time to expand my horizons. I would love to try Party if I win because my spring/summer scents are limited. Thanks! I live in the U. S.

  • I have never tried or even heard of Sentifique before but the scents all sound intriguing and fun. I love that they all “play on the idea of glamour and sensuality”. Dangerouse, Cedre Sacre, and Party, all sound wonderful to me based on the notes and descriptions but if I was to win the draw I think I would go with Party. Thank you for the chance. I live in the US.

  • I would love to win Dangereuse, you had me at IRIS =) It’s nice to hear of new houses who “uses young perfumers who have not made a name for themselves yet”. Hope it will inspire a wave of energy to the perfume market! I live in Taiwan.

  • daim rouge for me — also it’s almost a toss-up with testosterone (i just have a hard time to walk away form patchouli in any form.) and a new house is always welcome . but what i really want to know: do andi tauer and friedemann ramacher know one another? in he u.s.

  • I would love to win Dangereuse because I am a lover a Iris notes and this combination sounds incredible. I imagine I will take on a Jackie-O quality while wearing it! I lwill be luxuriously chic. I live in the US and thanks for the draw!

  • marcopietro says:

I never try Sentifique fragrances and I fill the gap as soon as possible, they are very interesting. Sentifique basic concept attracts me: luxury perfumes with use of products related to the Swiss territory and creativity of young talents. Testostérone would be my choice, it sounds irresistible!
    I live in Italy.
    Thanks for the draw!

  • “glamour and sensuality”… Never heard about this young Swiss brand, but TESTOSTERONE sounds really nice…its description is quite appealing to me. It would be my choice, if… 😉

I’m in the EU. Thanks for the draw!

  • I was lucky enough to take my first trip to Switzerland this year so the fact that 80% of ingredients are sourced from this beautiful country is interesting to me. Dangereouse sounds smooth and enticing. I would love to try it. Thanks for the draw. USA

  • Living in the USA, I would be interested in trying Testostérone with its unique theme of Swiss terroir.

  • bunchofpants says:

Oh wow, you build up my curiosity about these intriguing fragrances and then tell me they are not available in the US! No fair! I will look for decants and samples at my favorite purveyors of such things. This is the first time I have heard of Sentifique. I would love to win Cèdre Sacré. I’m in USA.

  • They all sound wonderful but if I only allowed to choose one I would like to win “Party”, because I’m pretty much live in the summer 365 days. 😀
Also love the note of mandarin peel and aldehydes, yummy…lol

I live in Malaysia. Thank you for the draw.

  • I’d like to win the Cedre Sacre. Looking for a new summer scent. A Swiss house that uses mainly Swiss ingredients is intriguing. US

  • I have not tried any of these fragrances, but Dangereuse intreagues me the most. Thank you very much for the draw. I live in UE.

  • The descriptions of each of these fragrances fascinates me! I love the stories behind each one. It’s tough to choose, but Dangereuse is stealing my heart, somehow… or maybe it will when I try it. Thanks so much for the chance! A new Swiss house intrigues me. I am in the US.

  • CH is a wonderful country, with 80% of the ingredients sourced from this beautiful country I’m certainly interested. I’m very curious about all fragrances, but most of all Cedre Sacre. I’m in EU.

  • Wow! I have never heard about this house before and I really think it’s a very que criativity name and purpose of the brand. All fragrances called my attention but only by the name ‘Testosterone’ should be really daring way I like it.
    USA

  • I’ve never heard of this line, but I hope that it will bloom into a successful one. I love the local ingredients and young perfumers looking to make their mark. It’s a tough call, but I think Dangereuse may be the one I’d love to try the most (though Daim Rouge is right up there as well!). Thanks for the generous draw, I’m in the US!

  • Hard choice after reading all the descriptions. Enjoyed reading where the Sentifique name came from. Cedre Sacre for the win please. 🙂 I have not heard of this house before the article. U.S.A.

  • I would like a fragrance that would make me feel like Ursula Andress
I love most Iris perfumes so dangeureuse would be my choice
I never heard is sentifique but I like their website a lot
    I live in the US

  • Sentifique is new to me and I really like they use a lot of Swiss ingredients. Daim Rouge sounds perfect to me with musk leather and Rose but so does dangereuse because of the Je ne sais Quoi factor.I live in the USA

  • I was just reading an article about the importance of terroir in perfumery – it seems obvious in the case of wine, but I was surprised that I hadn’t really thought of it in terms of perfume (although I do remember visiting lavender fields as a child and noticing great differences in scent and quality across locations). I like the idea of sourcing ingredients from a certain location as part of the house identity. It probably also presents interesting parameters to the perfumer! I’m an iris-lover so I would go for Dangereuse (although Daim Rouge does sound delicious also!). I live in the US.

  • Iuno Feronia says:

a wonderful Company with great ideas. I would like to have Party for the upcoming summer! I live in the EU, Austra,

    thanks for the draw

  • Sentifique Zurichperfume sounds like a wonderful line. All the perfumes sound so inventive, made with top-quality ingredients. The perfume I would like to win is Testostérone. I appreciate that the company uses native ingredients from Switzerland. I don’t currently have any Swiss fragrances and am very curious to try one. I look forward to the line being carried in the USA.
    I am from the USA.

  • I have not had the chance to try one of these scents or any- from this line. I would love to try the Cèdre Sacré, as it sounds glorious. I love the notion 80% of the products are sourced from the country of origin. I am in the US. Thanks the for draw.

  • I have never heard of this house before, but gosh their fragrances sound lovely! I definitely have to look into them in the future. They’re very well made, unique, and sound very captivating. My choice should I win would be Party. Thank you so much for the draw. I’m in Canada.

  • Giving new perfumers an opportunity is what stood out to me, the notes of Dangereuse make it the one I would like to try were I to win the draw. Merci! I live in Canada.

  • Sentifique Zurich perfume house I think I have read about it in a review by Cafleurebon contributors but never had the chance to experience anything from this brand.
I loved the fact that they use ingredients of very high quality most of them coming from Swiss almost 80% and I find fascinating the fact that their perfumes creations are being inspired by movies and movie stars since I am a movie lover.
My choice is Dangereuse for I am a big fan of Ursula Andress and love iris.
Thank you Cafleurebon for introducing us to new perfume Houses. I am a registered member living in EU.

  • I would like to win Testosterone because of the association with the legend: Sean Connery – the definition of a classic, raw, manly gentleman. Also the notes sound good too. Very strong ones in this perfume.

Choosing young perfumers from the new wave is a great thing! Good job Mr. Ramacher!

I live in EU. Thank you!

  • Great for a new company to use locally sourced ingredients to make their fragrances. Since I live in the summer most of the time I would like to Party all the time and try this one. Thanks for the draw. Mahalo from Hawaii.

  • I think I am most intrigued by Party. I have never heard of using pimentos as a fragrance note. How interesting! I also like Scentifique’s minimalist approach to their bottle design. I’m from the US.

  • I’m very interested in Party. Firstly, I love the name! But I also love the notes and energy that it brings off. I think it matches my style the most. This is a great sounding house that I’ll definitely check out in the future. Party will be my choice. I’m a Canadian reader

  • Thanks for profiling perfumes that us Americans may not be able to find or experience yet. I am interested in why they chose to emphasize local ingredients and whether the limited palette helped hone creative expression, or if it ever felt limiting.
I’ve yet to try anything from this house. I would love to win Dangereuse.
    USA.

  • Daim Rouge, definitely!
But somehow the whole Sentifique range sounds ad hoc, like bespoke perfumes, and I would like to try them all!
    I am in Bulgaria (EU).
Thank you for the generous draw!

  • Sentifique is new to me too. Too hard to chose between Dangereuse (iris!, sandalwood!, civet!!), Cèdre Sacré and Party. They all sound fabulous. I was intrigued by the 80% and then trying to match the ingredients to what I think would grow/be sourced in Switzerland. I’m in Australia.

  • This is a new discovery for me. Sentifique seems like a very unique and fun house. I’m looking forward to seeing more of them in the future. If I had to choose, I’d go with Party.

I’m international (Toronto) and thanks for the draw!
