As previously posted, Midnight Fleur Soleil is a lighter version of NEST’s earlier release Midnight Fleur.  Midnight Fleur, has been a best seller for NEST; it’s bold and intoxicating scent luring many fans since its release in 2012.  The Company had received many  requests for a lighter version that was easy to wear  to the office and during the heat of summer of the year.  Both fragrances are elegantly crafted by the hands of perfumer Jérôme Epinette, and their shared soul is easily recognizable in both the day and evening renditions.

Midnight Fleur Soleil opens with a bright and cheerful rush of flowers and hints of fruit.  It projects an aura of strolling through a botanical garden on a warm day.  The white lotus keeps it watery and fresh, enhancing the brighter sparkling facets of jasmine flower.  A tranquil powdery note hides just below the surface projecting delicacy  and femininity.  Touches of citrus emerge in the heart, lifting the florals and keeping Midnight Fleur Soleil in the sunshine. Precious woods give a soft but stable base for the flowers to float on, with vanilla orchid adding depth.

Midnight Fleur Soleil  is the happy go lucky sibling to its sultry sister Midnight Fleur.   The day-blooming jasmine grandiflorum is more prominent , and the overall effect is lighter, more sparkling  than   the original with its  heavier oriental amber base.  It has shorter longevity than Midnight Fleur, but can be refreshed during the day and is lovely layered with its seductive sibling for nighttime rendezvous or early Fall.

Midnight Fleur Soleil is a beautiful work of art for the eyes as well as for the nose.  Packaged in a sleek  glass bottle adorned with botanical art inspired by the floral paper collages of 18th century British artist Mary Delany who is the muse for the all NEST'S stunning flacons. NEST Fine Fragrances  new limited edition fragrance Midnight Fleur Soleil eau de parfum is launching on  QVC Saturday, August 15th, 2015 between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. EST with an appearance by  founder Laura Slatkin. Truthfully, I don't watch home shopping channels, maybe you don't either but you might just  change your mind. I know I did.

Perfume notes: passion fruit, white lotus and jasmine added to the base of woods and vanilla orchid.

50ml eau de parfum available for $68 on QVC and QVC.com while supplies last

  • I’m feeling terribly left out, as I’m in the UK! QVC in the US tell me they don’t ship over here! I guess I will just have to sob into a large glass of wine then….. 🙁

  • I liked the original quite a bit, but found it just too intense to wear. Really a great idea to offer a lighter version… Can’t wait to try it!
I’m in the US. Thanks for the chance.

  • Haha! I have to be careful not to blow my coworkers out of the office call “the dorm room.” So something lighter is a good idea and this sounds like a fragrance that is Safe For Work. I haven’t tried any Neat products, and I live in the U.S.

  • I love Nest! My favorite (and personal signature fragrance) is Midnight Fleur, but Indigo and Dahlia & Vines are also wonderful. I’d love to try Midnight Fleur with the lighter reformulation! I am in the US.

  • I haven’t tried any of the Nest fragrances, but I love sniffing the Nest candles when I’m in Nordstrom! Thanks for the draw, I’m in the US. 🙂

  • My favorite Nest product is their Grapefruit candle; I’d like to try the Bamboo sometime. Also I left a comment on August 7 on the other post! I live in the US, thanks for the great draw!

  • The only candle I scent my house with at Christmas is Nest’s Christmas version. I love the orange, clove, yummy smell. I find I can’t burn it the rest of the year, though, so strong is the olafactory reference to Christmas for me! I would love to try the lighter version on this perfume. USA

Love Nest Amazon Lily. The bottles are so pretty and classical yet clean/modern. Thanks for the review and one mo’ chance here! USA!

  • Yes, please! NEST is one of my all time favorite houses. My favorite is Amazon Lily. I live in FL. Thank you Cafleurebon.

  • Honestly I haven’t tried any Nest, apparently I am super missing out! I would love to try the candles, particularly the Bamboo. Sounds so clean. I’m in the US. (I did leave a comment on the first post) Thanks for the draw!

  • I LOVE the bottle — total work of art! Passion fruit and vanilla orchid make this sound like the perfect summer fragrance. US resident. Thank you!

I have never tried any NEST products. I guess I’d love to try any of the eau de parfums. I’m in USA.

  • My favorite NEST product is the original Midnight Fleur. I’d love to try the Soleil version.

  • Donna Spiegel says:

I really love the Japanese Black Currant. It’s in my home and leaves the air smelling just yummy. I’d like to try a few especially in the fragrance line. This new release is a great place to start! Thank you for the chance. I’m in the U.S

  • Butterflyrouge says:

I’ve never tried any Nest fragrances, but this one sounds lovely! Also I’d love to try Bamboo for my home.

  • My favorite fragrance from Nest is the original Midnight Fleur. I would love to try this one, as it also sounds amazing!!

  • Cynthia Richardson says:

I have most of the NEST candles to scent my office and my favorite is Moss & Mint. I’d love to try this new fragrance.

  • I love Nest fragrances so much! I first saw the gorgeous bottles at my local Sephora and had to give each perfume a whiff. Then I found out Nest perfumes are created by Laurie Slatkin. Back in the days, I use to hoard Slatkin & Co. candles! I used to buy them at Bath and Body Works. Eventually the candles were gone but I think I still have a few. So happy to hear that Nest candles are available for me to try.

I honestly can say that I find Nest one of the most exciting niche fragrance lines produced in a long time! Laurie Slatkin has the recipe for creating great and unique scennts.

After taking a whiff of the scents, I fell in love with Passiflora perfume.

I commented on the original post and would love to experience the Midnight Fleur Soleil scent.

I’m in the USA. Thank you!

I received a NEST candle for Christmas and it was incredible!! I forgot and threw away the bottom tag of the candle that had the scent on it. It was a light plum color with an uplifting and lighter scent!! Just heavenly. ☺️ I do live in the U.S. And would like to try the lighter scent of Midnight Fleur

  • I love midnight fleur! Verde is also amazing, and I look forward to trying some body products. Midnight fleur soleil sounds lovely! I’m in the US.
