 Art and Olfaction award winner Tanja Bochnig of April Aromatics just might be psychic.   My Hebrew name is Malka which means Queen. Purple is my favorite color.  So when I learned of her new natural perfume Purple Reign,   I admit my “regal” inner self let out a little squeal of delight.   The color purple is associated  with creativity, ideas and enlightenment as well as it is the hue that connects us to the divine. It is also a healing color and this has been a year when many of us have faced challenges, turmoil and personal loss.

    Oh wow, i got goosebumps when i saw this. I have always loved the colour purple since i was knee high. Just today i have bought myself a purple diary; i love violet and lilac and bluebells. My favourite crystal is amethyst. Indeed i also had a photo taken of my aura – how real this was i am unsure but it showed a beautiful purple hue all round me with a touch of pink. So perhaps this scent is meant for me…. it has the Purple light…. and its notes are divine! Its calling to me in the UK …. i’m beckoning…. it sounds like my new April Aromatics favourite scent! thank you for the draw. Blessings!

    I can almost smell it from the lyrical vivid description. The Color Purple, Purple Reign, so much … from The Color Purple by Alice Walker which is heartbreakingly dedicated to “the innocent vulva”, Prince’s movie and the colors of blue dominated with red.

    Lilacs, violets, lavender, jasmine … a veritable bouquet of delicate fragrances.

    Well I was born in February and my Birthstone is no other then the Amethyst which is the color purple. I also lived in Minnesota before I moved to Wisconsin and Minnesota was home to Prince the artist of the song Purple Rain 🙂 I do love lilac and lavender and would love to try this, it sounds wonderful.     Purple is the favorite color of my grandma, my mom and I…..genetics maybe. The notes sound amazing. I adore lavender. I don’t have any from this line, but maybe this could be my new favorite. I live in the U.S.

    I never thought about purple in terms of perfume.
    One of my favorite songs is Purple by Pop Evil.
    Such a beautiful color you wear upon your skin and a perfect shade of purple on a flower permanent.
    I have calling all angels which I bought at twisted lily and they are great with samples too

    I don’t have many associations with purple other than purple rain. Sounds like a nice perfume.orris and sandalwood caught my attention but what is purple light?

    Purple associate with my childhood memories, as I was a little kid I play around with my little brother nearby my house’s gate painted with purple. Now it is green. 🙂

    When I think of purple I am reminded of the lavender in the garden of my childhood home. It was a delight for the eyes and the nose. I don’t yet have a favorite perfume from April Aromatics. Here’s to hoping Purple Reign will be the one. I am in the US. Thank you for the review and the draw.

    At times I go through phases of purple cravings. All shades of purple. My favorite flower being a violet… Violet and purple is a favorite for bathing my aura… I have never had the chance to try an April Aromatic perfume, but I love her spiritual take.

    My biggest connection to the color purple are orchids, purple orchids. I love orchid flower. Although the first thing that come to my mind with the word purple is one of my favorite bands of all times “Deep Purple”. I’ve never tried April Aromatic perfume yet but I’d love to try it.

    I have loved the color purple since childhood, and I had several amethyst jewelry pieces when I was younger. Now I need more things colored purple in my life.

    Purple is my beloved color, I love lavender as flower and color I love amethyst and I wear this color a lot basically in with white or grey. I believe too that it has healing qualities…whenever I feel depressed or in anger and pain this color helps to soothe my soul.

    I’ve got mixed feelings about the color purple, but the reasons why would require a therapist to figure out! Well, not really, but you folks don’t need to hear them! I immediately thought of Prince’s Purple Rain and I love Prince, the purple king! I also love orris, so I’m intrigued by this fragrance.Cheers! Glad to hear of another release from Tanja.

    The purple color I associate with Joker’s purple coat. And I think it’s a good thing, because Joker is a really impressive movie character. And I also like purple flowers, such a nice color. I have never had a chance to try any of April Aromatics Perfume, but I have read a lot of about those perfumes. I think those are incredibly fabulous.

    I’ve never tried any April Aromatics fragrances. This one looks like a good start. Purple is just a color that evokes the feeling of royalty. It’s that color in between the popular colors of red and blue where you can have the best of both worlds if you’re trying to pick a color. In fragrances it is related to one of my favorite notes: Plum. Deep Purple by Montale and Aoud 1 by Micalef have this amazing purple note. I live in the U.S.. Thanks again for another amazing draw.

    Purple is the color of comfort for me just like my favorite fleece robe. It has royal associations, which make it even more interesting. I have always been fascinated by violets, and iris. Love to try this scent! My favorite so far is Rosenlust. I am in the US. Thanks for the draw!

    I’d love to try this! I’ve been on the hunt for a lilac perfume for a while, seeing as it’s one of my favourite flowers. I’ve never had the chance to try an April Aromatics fragrance, so fingers crossed!

    Purple was my favourite colour as a little girl. I remember trying to shock my grandmother with that fact, because she expected my favourite to be pink. What a rebel, huh?

    Growing up, our house always had a vase of deep purple iris, when in season. When I started designing jewelry in the 70’s the first stones I worked with were deep purple Amethyst. I love purple, I love to wear some purple, it’s so vivid it always freaks people out, and I love that! I’m in the US. Thanks!

    I love purple. I was just saying to my mom yesterday, that I thought purple was the only color that she, my sisters and myself could all wear.
    I find it regal and yet, calming.
    I have not tried any of the April Aromomatics line, but I would love to.

    Purple has always represented royalty and spirituality to me, always loved it, always worn the colour! I haven’t had the pleasure of trying the April Aromatics scents…….yet!

    I could use the color purple right now, and in fact recently finished knitting myself a purple sweater jacket! I haven’t tried any April Aromatics yet, but, as a Prince fan, I think the name Purple Reign has wonderful possibilities 🙂 I live in NYC.

    So it’s named after my absolute favourite colour and include several notes I love? Sounds like something I’d love to try!
    Purple is an amazing colour with such a range of nuances you can always find one to suit your mood or style of the day. I’ve dedicated a pinterest board just to all these purple colours. Some people have never seen me not wearing something purple… (though that’s partially a sign of being broke, can’t afford new clothes)
    Haven’t tried April Aromatics yet so this would be a nice introduction to her work.

    I love the concept of color therapy combined with fragrance. I love that Purple Reign will raise one’s energetic vibrations and improve self awareness. I think we could all use a bit of self awareness.

    I also love that this is a natural perfume. I respect natural perfumers because it can be quite difficult working only with natural ingredients and that all the ingredients resonate and are in tune with the color purple. What a wonderful therapeutic concept for a perfume.

    I also love the notes of Purple Reign – Lavender, Lilac, Violets, just beautiful, some of my favorite notes in perfumes.

    I have yet to experience anything from April Aromatics, but Purple Reign sounds divine! I live in the USA, thank you!

    I’ve never tried any scents from this house, but I’ve heard a ton of great things about it. I do enjoy natural fragrances so this one interests me quite a bit. Purple reminds me of florals. My parents loved planting flowers when I was younger, so this scent reminds me of that. Canada

    I adore many April Aromatics scents, Bohemian Spice, Jasmina, Calling All Angels and Navel Chakra oil are all loved and worn. I’m on a total Iris kick at the moment so this is kind of the ultimate lust right now. Some of my favorite fragrances evoke the color purple for me like Memoir and LouLou. Definitely tops my want to try list.
