i smell great™ Wild Honey EDP

“I want to smell like rotten eggs", said nobody ever.  Those of us who love fragrance, have one thing in common. We want to smell GREAT. Good is not enough and meh is out of the question. Although I always wear fragrance for myself  first, it's true that my favorite perfumes get the most compliments from strangers.  In my role as a perfume blogger and consultant I test a lot of fragrances. (400 this year and counting) and most of them just don’t suit me, although some garner critical acclaim and are masterfully constructed. It isn’t always about the price,  the nose or the ingredients; we each have a unique fragrance print, and while our mind says we must have the latest, most buzzed about rare perfumes, our skin can tell us otherwise. Yesterday, I spritzed on a scent I was testing and four women stopped me in Bergdorf and asked what I was wearing.  I replied “i smell great™ Wild Honey”.  I had the bottle in my purse,  and although at first the woman with the alligator Hermes Birkin raised an eyebrow when she saw the bottle, she began to smile as she confided," it HAS to be XX an uber luxe niche fragrance from a nearby counter (that I also “Love” wink , wink).

 i smell great™ is the brainchild of Canadian Randi Shinder, a successful entrepreneur with a proven track record of creating greatness – CLEAN perfumes,  Fusion Beauty and Dessert Beauty fragrances for Jessica Simpson (I first met Randi in 2005, when she launched LipFusion, the first micro injected collagen lip plumper, because "I want thin lips" said nobody ever).  Now Randi has partnered with fellow Canadian Jane Daly of Daly Beauty, who reviews perfumes on her beauty blog regularly  (Jane Daly was a guest contributor at ÇaFleureBon in 2011, Summer Beauty, Styles and Sensibilities).  The two friends agreed that perfume should always be something special, something personal and an indulgence of our senses; both felt there was something missing in the market place.

I have joked with Randi that if Lori Greiner, the serial inventor and entrepreneur who stars on  US Shark Tank ever gets too busy,  the producers should contact her to step in.  She always is at the forefront of what women want to buy and has made millions doing so.  i smell great™ is a comprehensive line of  four scents including: personal perfume,  Soft Body Whip,  Wellness Water Mist, Hair fragrance, and Reactive Lush Lip gloss, all using a delivery system with proprietary technology that reactivates itself throughout the day for up to six hours (without additives) to prolong the aroma. Judging from the 63,000 + likes on their facebook page, I am not the only one.
