1996 is a collaboration between Ben Gorham the Creative Director of Byredo and the Dutch photography duo (and husband and wife) Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.  1996 was created by Ben Gorham as a Christmas Card based on an image (Kirsten taken in 1996)  the couple felt embodied their own experiences, evoked the image and the notes they liked. But what began as a creative project became highly sought by an international mix of publishers, editors, stylists who wanted this limited edition for their own use, and now is available to the rest of us.

  • I’m not a big fan of irises, but maybe the amber and vanilla would balance this fragrance on me. What an exceptionally talented pair!
