New Niche Fragrance Collection: Pierre de Velay by Master Perfumer Roja Dove

In a street market in the South of France, Master Perfumer Roja Dove came across a journal titled Pierre de Velay. Inside appeared to be many perfume formulas.  He researched Pierre de Velay but could not find out anything about these mysterious fragrances so Roja Dove translated the text and realized that amongst the many simple formulas, there were a few that were  quite complex and elegant. Mr. Dove experimented and recreated some of them, and with his interpretations of Pierre de Velay they are compositions that are relevant today.

There are three Pierre de Velay fragrances in the line; all are extraits.

  • Being that I am now a Roja Dove devotee, I am sure at least one of these will end up on my wish list. Do they come with a regular spray or splash cap as well?

  • Pierre de Velay #11 is gorgeous!  I hope to try the others as well. Thanks for writing about these.

  • I love the look of the bulb bottle, but I recently lost a lot of perfume that was in a similar bottle to evaporation. Is there a trick to avoiding this?

  • Those bottles are stunning!  #11 sounds lovely and I would love to sniff all of them.
