Who knew when Grammy Award winning Singer/Producer Pharell Williams wore THAT hat at the Grammys he would soon be making more than a fashion statement. Pharrell joins fashion icons Daphne de Guiness and The Mad hatter Stephen Jones ( he hat was by Vivienne Westwood but she has her own fragrance)  as he announces a collaboration with COMMES DE GARCONS  on a new fragrance called Girl.  Girl is named for his new album and is a fragrance for men too. It is the first time designer Rei Kawakubo worked with a musician on a scent. No details, notes, nose etc were disclosed except Pharell's new fragrance will be released in September of 2014.

Williams told Women's Wear Daily “As one of my favorite designers once said, ‘Comme des Garçons is your favorite designers’ favorite designer…the top of the top, the best of the best,’” Williams said. “I am so honored to be working with Comme des Garçons and cherish the education that I’ve experienced in this collaboration.”

He must be feeling very Happy.
