The first American designer fragrance is remastered with the launch of Norell New York by Parlux Fragrances Ltd. Norman Norell, known for revolutionizing American ready-to-wear and dressing the most stylish women of his day (think Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy and Lauren Bacall) pioneered the iconic fragrance known as Norell in 1968. The classic fragrance has been reimagined and modernized for today.

This modern green floral, created by IFF perfumer Celine Barel,  Norell New York opens with a “lush radiance that exudes a playful effervescence with an airy floral bouquet and a sensual finish; each bottle contains over 200 Jasmine petals as well as a most noble and expensive ingredient, Orris Butter”. The core collection, inclusive of an Eau de Parfum, Body Oil and Body Cream, is complemented by a luxurious limited edition Parfum presented in a handcrafted bottle by the internationally acclaimed French crystal house, Baccarat.

Riley Keough

Riley Keough, who has inherited her grandfather Elvis Presley legendary magnetism and her mother’S Lisa Marie Presley classic beauty, serves as the face of the campaign and wears original Norman Norell designs. Ads are by Michael Avedon the grandson of legendary photographer Richard Avedon.

  • Well, that sounds ambitious. The original Norell was the first perfume I ever purchased, I had tried it at the drugstore and loved it, saved my babysitting money and bought a small bottle. Think I was about twelve years old. Ah, the 60s! I still have an older bottle that I love and wear occasionally, when I crave that dark green low growl that becomes a purr.
