Vacationing on a remote tropical island sounds mighty tempting just about now, so if a getaway to a hidden paradise off the coast of Brazil isn’t in your plans, Memo Paris is launching Ihla do Mel, (Honey Flowers) the second fragrance in Graines Vagabondes collection. The first fragrance Kedu, the Garden of Java, is structured around a sesame-grapefruit duo For Ilha do Mel, this time juniper seeds contrast with a honey flavoured flower bouquet. Creative Director Clara Molloy and the house’s perfumer Aliénor Massenet of IFF took the inspiration from this little known landscape; “the highest point of the island is only 150 meters, its geology is astounding: on the southern tip, inside the Enchanted Cave, the rock speaks of a time when the South American and African continents once touched here”.
