New Fragrance: Maria Candida Gentile To Debut “The Exclusive Collection”

Maria Candida Gentile, the only Italian to earn the title Maitre Parfumeur will be launching a new line of exquisite natural perfumery.  There will be four perfumes, each bearing a provocative or suggestive name.

BURLESQUE:

Top notes Orange Sanguinella
Heart notes Iris and rose
Base notes Incense, Patchouli

"The power of seduction, the iris pallida dances in harmony with the Balsam and the Patchouli."

 
GENTILE:

Top notes Italian Basil
Heart notes Geranium, Osmanthus
Base notes Vetiver, Java

"The formula is built around the most gentle (Gentile means gentle in Italian)   components of the Vetiver roots, probably the most iconic of the men's fragrances, together with the Osmanthus ."

 
LUBERON:

Top notes Mediterranean lavender
Heart notes May Rose
Base notes Oak Musk

"Luberon is a composition which comes directly from the valleys of the south of France in spring".

 
LADY DAY:

Top notes Galbanum
Heart notes Gardenia
Base notes Balsam

"Billie Holiday, the famous blues & jazz singer would never go on stage without wearing a gardenia in her hair.
 MCG dedicates this fragrance to her, to her talent and to the beauty of her voice".

Each fragrance will be 30ml and The Exclusive Collection is expected to be  available  September 2012

    Wow! They all sound really good, Gentile sounds perfect for the upcoming summer.

    Lady Day sounds beautiful I love the smell of gardenia and it is difficult to find a perfume that isn’t too overwhelming I would think the galbamum and balsam would give this an interesting twist

  • Burlesque sounds intriguing (I can’t picture how this would smell, due to the differences in the top notes and base)

  • I agree all of these sound amazing! My normal first choice would be Burlesque to try, but Gentile and Lady Day are speaking to me…:)
