Founder Laura Slatkin was inspired to create Nest Fragrances Wisteria Blue while walking through the Historic District in Charleston, S.C.: “I came across a home that was covered in wisteria blossoms in the most extraordinary shades of lavender, blue and white; it was right then and there that I knew I had to create a wisteria fragrance.” Upon returning to New York, Ms. Slatkin knew immediately she wanted to collaborate with Rodrigo Flores-Roux to develop the fragrance. Rodrigo Flores-Roux of Givaudan is well known for his breathtaking florals and expert knowledge of all things vintage; his body of work includes John Varvatos, Arquiste, Aedes De Venustus Oeillet Bengale, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, and Clinique Happy to name just a few. The fragrance is a light, fresh paean to spring, and the long and languid pre-summer days of the south.
