    LOL! Mark, I totally get it with this Arquiste – it’s excellently done but is my least wearable choice as well! This is a great conversation with Chandler – he is such an elegant speaker, making the idea of perfume design and development (pre-creation) very accessible. I like the Titian reference – it makes sense. Titian is an understandable artist – but his work is not lighthearted, nor is it particularly accessible; one ‘gets’ Titian, viscerally – but not a ‘comfortable’ artist. Hope that makes sense?

    Thanks for allowing us to sit in on a very interesting conversation.

    You were a great host and this reveal was significantly more interesting to watch then the last two
    Mr Burr gets a bit scholarly and erudite and it’s great to have an interpreter to keep him on track and on topic

    First compliments to Mark Benke …he was the perfect foil to Chandler
    I think what upset me was chandler burrs total dismissal of natural and independent perfumery not coming from the major houses
    I will no longer purchase any open sky perfume in the untitled series
    as olfactive artists aren’t just perfumers from big companies

    Well done, Mark. Unfortunately I’ve as yet been unable to try any of the Arquiste scents. Looking very much forward to the next installment; “a perfume that everybody likes”?, intriguing.

    Great! Very glad – this was *exactly* what I was hoping for! Thank you, Mark and Chandler. I love the way you rephrased my rather technical question to make it more understandable to everybody else, and yet tell me exactly what I was looking for! And thanks for taking on these questions head-on. (PS – shout out to the Fragrance Bros., too!)
