Notes and scent blotters for L’Ile au The

The presentation started with the new citrus aromatic (mandarin, osmanthus and green tea) unisex release, L’Ile au The. The inspiration coming to them from a trip off the coast of South Korea to the island, Jeju. As Camille said, “one never knows where and when inspiration will lead to a new creation.”

Annick Goutal relaunches La Ligne Splendide

The anjou rose infused skincare collection, La Ligne Splendide (originally released in 2005) has been re introduced and re formulated ten years later. The range includes hand, body, cream, and face moisturisers (no alcohol). We had the pleasure of enjoying the touch and scent of the creams and were most impressed. Well done!  Available for purchase on August 31st.

  • What a lovely event! It’s hard for anything to match Eau d’Hadrien, I think; it was the first non-American, non-suburban department store scent I ever fell in love with.

  • Systeme D says:

Oh, I love Annick Goutal. My favorite is Mandragore. I wear it all summer long. I’m also a fan of Eau du Sud.

I recently tried L’Île au Thé, and it’s very pretty.

  • I wish I still lived in NYC, such a great place for fragrance lovers. My favorite Goutal is Songes–such a beautiful scent, I just bought my second bottle not long ago. I live in the US and I’d love to win the bag. Thanks!

  • How fabulous, wish I lived there as well. My favorites are Songes and Ambre Fetiche… Thanks for the opportunity and congrats on the Fragrant Avenue Zip… I am in the US

  • I have not tried any Maison Annick Goutal fragrances, though I have read positive reviews and been told that they have some wonderful perfumes. I would be delighted to finally try them.

  • leathermountain says:

I’m torn between Eau de Camille and Nuit Etoilee EdP. A pair of beautiful shape-shifters! I’m a US registered reader. Thanks for your report and the draw.

  • My favorite Annick Goutal is Mandragore, and I am a US registered reader. Thank you!

  • Thank you for a great report. How exciting to meet Isabel Doyen and Camille Goutal. I am excited that there is a store uptown now as my office is not far! I would love to try Isle de Thé. My favorite Annick Goutal is Songes with Eau de Sud not far behind. Now I am wondering what the new Fall perfumes are

  • I have actually only tried Songes, which makes it my favorite by default I guess! I am very interested in l’ile au the for sentimental reasons though, so I’d love to try that one. Thanks for the draw, I’m in the US!

  • fazalcheema says:

My favorite Annick Goutal creation is Sables which is also the best immortelle creation I have tried so far. But one creation I long to try is Fier which is quite rare now. thanks a lot for the draw. I am in the US

  • silvrolive says:

My favorite Annick Goutal perfume is Sables, but I wear Petite Cherie for fun! I am in the US. Thanks for the draw!

  • Sarah Lathrop says:

I just love this perfume house! The scents are so elegant and well done and the packaging is lovely. I also appreciate that so many of the fragrances are unisex. I think it is interesting that they offer the same juice in two different gender-leaning packaging options… does any other house do this? Anyhow, I own a handful of Goutals, but one of my summer go-to scents and probably the Goutal I reach for most in general is Les Nuits d’Hadrien. I would love to win this sample grab bag! Thanks so much for the chance.

  • I have worn a lot of Mandragore in the winter and I like the Neroli for summer. I’m wondering if some of the upcoming releases will be in this sampler bag. U.S.

  • Valentine Girl says:

My two favorites are Eau du Sud & Eau d’Hadrien–so I have a feeling I am really going to like L’Ile au Thé as well! Can’t wait to hear more about the new Fall releases. USA resident.

  • What a fun event! My favorite AG is Ce Soir Ou Jamais, a very pretty wearable rose. I didn’t realize the skin line had been withdrawn. I was just looking for it the other day. It had such a nice scent. Has that changed? I am excited to hear what the new releases will be. This is a quality line. USA.

  • Oh, I wish I could stop by!!! My favorite AG fragrance is Encens Flamboyant. I also really love all the others in the Orientalists line. I’m excited about the new releases!!! In the US (still)! 🙂

  • JazzBelle says:

I am obsessed with Annick Goutal perfumes! This fragrance house, in my opinion, is the epitome of niche fragrances. Everything from the bottles to the names and scent compositions makes me go gaga. I would buy every bottle if I could!

Camille Goutal is extremely talented and is doing a great job carrying on her mom’s legacy.

My favorite AG fragrance? This is such a difficult question. Of course Eau d’Hadrien is divine! But also Musc Nomade, Gardenia Passion, Le Muguet…… So hard to pick just a few!

I’m in the USA, have liked the CaFleureBon page and would be OVERJOYED to win this draw! Thank you!!

  • Robert H. says:

Oh yeah Ninfeo Mio for me or Eau Du Ciel….I love them all!! I’m in the USA.

  • I would have to say that Les Nuits d’Hadrien and Songes would be two of my favorites! I would love to try some of the others. Thank you for a wonderful draw! I am in the USA.

  • This looks like a lovely boutique!
My favorite from the line is Ninfeo Mio.
    Thanks so much.

  • Eau d’Hadrien Is a good one with lemon citruses along with sables with immortelle honey but I haven’t tried others from the line thus I do not have any favorite yet. Would love to try this one.
    Thanks USA

  • I hope I’m not too late to enter. I’ve only tried half a dozen or so of the line, and my favorite so far is the delightful Petite Cherie. I’m in the U.S., and thank you!

  • Probably, oh, nearly 20 years ago Eau de Hadrien kicked off my exploration of the wide, wonderful world of perfume, so I will always have a soft spot for it. And it remains to this day a summer favorite! Eau de Ciel was my second Goutal purchase, and I think I shall spritz some on right now! I’m registered and live in the U.S. — would LOVE to see what’s in the bag!

  • I have not yet had the pleasure of wearing an Annick Goutal fragrance but would love to try the sampler selections.

  • Grand Amour is, for me, a truly memorable fragrance so I will say it is my favorite, but I have enjoyed and even loved each of the few fragrances from Annick Goutal I’ve tried. They are wonderful.
