L’Herboriste Collection from Palais des Thés + Herbal Tea to Soothe Winter Colds and Flus

L'Herboriste Collection

"We all have personal memories of a particular garden and the feelings it evokes. On my travels, I have been moved by the magnificent and extraordinary diversity of each garden, like a unique story of nature and the people that have shaped it. These evocations and memories have inspired our work creating infusions." Francois-Xavier Delmas, Founder of Palais des Thés.

With the winter comes those nasty flus and viruses that seem to linger for weeks. Since staying in bed is not an always an option, be sure to drink plenty of fluids. What does a perfumista hate most about a cold? Not being able to smell their favorite fragrance. Since wearing “chicken soup” eau de parfum (soupe de poulet in French sounds sexy but smells just as unappealling) isn’t a great choice, we suggest Palais des Thés herbal teas which are handblended by perfumers in Paris. With a wide variety of loose and sachet teas that smell heavenly pour yourself a cuppa from their Herbal Infusion collection. My personal favorite is the Garden Box (I love fruity florals so why not drink them when I  feel under the weather). Their new collection is called  L’Herboriste. Palais des Thés drew inspiration from imaginary gardens to create a collection of unique infusions that promote health and wellbeing, include generous blends of fruits (in pieces, dried or candied), delicate flowers & aromatic plants and are Caffeine free and no artificial flavorings.

  • mmmm, soothing hot tea is perfect for what ails ya….
Both my husband and I got sick recently. Mine is still lingering after approx 3-4 weeks. My new granddaughter is fighting a terrible cold right now and my daughter is starting to feel it too. It seems that everyone I speak to all over the country is sick or has been. The warmer weather we had this winter probably kept the bugs brewing….just waiting for a non suspecting human to latch onto. I have already liked Palais de Thes on FB. I would love the Garden Box. thanks. (I’m registered/in US).

  • My entire family has been fighting what we call “the sick” for a few weeks, as in “oh, no, now you have the sick, too.” My daughter has had the worst cough for several weeks. I heard from her doctor that coughing is a problem for many children right now. Lots of sleep planned for this weekend. The teas all sound delicious, especially the Garden Box, it sounds delightful. Je vous remercie pour la chance.

  • I had a cold two weeks ago. I treated it with herbal teas and felt better in a few days. I would love to taste Anise, Peppermint and Lemon Balm.
    Thank you! US

  • I have not been sick luckily. The tea I like the most is Kashmiri Tea but one tea I would like to try is British Early Grey. My choice will be Garden Box Sachets. thanks a lot for the generous draw. I am in the U.S.

    P.S. Liked the FB page

  • I have been sick since after Thanksgiving with some sort of virus that won’t go away! I’ve been using chamomile to treat my illness. I’m in the US and would love to try the 24 pack of Garden sachets.

  • I’ve been sick the past week. Now I’m finally getting better half way into the break. I live in the USA and I’d love to win the Garden Box.
    Thanks for the chance!

  • Tea is so comforting. I’m a coffee drinker in the morning but revert to tea later in the day. A favorite near bedtime is a lavender/camomile blend. I’d love to try the Garden Box of teas. I’ve tried this brand before’; the quality is great. I am rarely sick. USA. Thanks for the draw.

  • I thought i was in for it for sure at work as I was surrounded in my cubicle city by co-workers who should’ve been home and not at work coughing, sneezing and spreading illness…but i haven’t been sick so far this season:) Im in the USA. thanks:)

  • Luckily I have not been sick this winter. But I’m definitely a tea fan. They have a great selection and I’ll definitely purchase some in the future. My choice would be the 24 pack. Thanks for the draw and I’m in Canada!

I have been sick this season; fortunately it was a simple cold. I usually drink Earl Grey or plain green tea. I would choose the Peppermint loose tea. I’m in USA (and I liked Palais des Thés under my real name, Lisa Brockmeier).

  • I have been sick twice this season already (including right now), although not too badly each time. Every time I feel a cold coming on, I douse myself with ginger tea, vitamins, and herbs. It seems to keep the viruses at bay most of the time! I live in Canada and would love to win the Lemongrass, Carrot, and Ginger. Thank you!

  • I like Palais des Thés on FACEBOOK (Cynthia M Richardson). So far my family and I have been healthy this year (and narrowly escaped my toddler grandson’s pink eye). My choice of tea would be the 24 pack of Garden Box Sachets.

  • I fortunately do not get sick with a cold or the flu very often, but… I did get something this year. I’m just getting over a cold and did drink lots of hot tea and I ate plenty of soup. It helped! I am in the US. If a winner, I would choose the 24 pack of sachets. They all sound wonderful.

  • I would love to win the 24 pack! It sounds incredible. I haven’t been sick, but I’ve had mild coughs and sore throats. Tea definitely helps. I’m a Canadian reader

The Anise, Lemon and Peppermint sounds like just what I need on this chilly night. Just got over a cold, but the memory has me craving tea

  • I’ve had the usual colds during the winter. I can’t wait until the warm weather returns :(. My choice would be the 24 pack of sachets.
