September is Le Labo’s City Exclusive Amnesty Month, but the house has a new distraction, debuting November 1, 2014… solid perfumes!

It is a brand new way to wear one (or more) of the 14 fragrances in their classic collection (in my case Labdanum 18, for those wondering what to buy me for my birthday) without the spendy price tag. The alcohol-free, phthalate/paraben free formula is a wax (made of sweet almond oil, coconut oil and soybean oil) scented with the fragrant extract of Le Labo's perfume and will be available in a refillable metallic case with a 4g refill for $85.  Kits of 2 refills (2x4g) are $70 each.

Availability: November 1st in the Le Labo stand-alone boutiques, online and exclusively at Barneys and February 1st, 2015 in all other locations

  • How great is this…….I wonder what the sillage and longevity will be like? Curious minds want to know. Guess I will have to try it for myself when available. Thanks for the info. Hope you get your birthday wish.

  • I love that they are doing these in solids! I have more than my share of solids as I love how easy they are to stick in the purse to refresh my scent rather quickly when out and I don’t want to spray. I love how the solids stay close to the skin! Looking forward to some of these 😉
