I once asked M. Duchaufour what makes a great perfume…his answer,   "I am sure of one thing; time is the best judge of a fragrance”. And Timbuktu is, still, after 11 yrs, one of his finest fragrances for the House. It is also classic Duchaufour.   Contributor Sebastian Jara and video fragrance reviewer for the popular YouTube channel Looking Feeling Smelling Great asked me which L’Artisan Parfumeur scent would be a good introduction to  his viewers and I answered a trip to Timbuktu.
