Master Perfumer  Bertrand Duchaufour has created fragrances for L’Artisan Parfumeur since 2002. Many of his fragrances are the result of his travels to exotic locales, but for Noir Exquis, the newest collaboration, M Duchaufour stays  closer to home; the inspiration is an unexpected rendez-vous in Paris.   Two people meet over coffee in a patisserie. In this fragrant atmosphere of pastries and coffee, a romance begins.

Noir Exquis is a work of contrasts, one of the hallmarks of Bertrand Duchaufour’s style. The addictive note of coffee, combined with the warm and comfortable notes of maple syrup and glazed chestnuts, brings an intriguing juxtaposition to this gourmand fragrance.
