One of the fragrance houses that flies under the radar is La Parfumerie Moderne. The company was founded by Philippe Neirinck in 2014 and draws inspiration from grand hotels of yesteryear. Each perfume is  composed by perfumer Marc- Antoine Corticchiato, who is best known for his own brand Parfums d’ Empire (Le Cri de La Lumiere just received one of my top ten ÇaFleureBon 2017  Best of Scent). La Parfumerie Moderne Belles Rives is an olfacative tribute to the famous art deco hotel of the same name. For Americans, did you know author F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald stayed there, and in fact to this day there is a plaque that bears their name? Belles Rives captures the beauty of a late summer day during the golden era of the jazz age. In my mind Zelda and Scott would be spraying on this sexy scent before a night of dancing and drinking.The random winner is Chevelir.
