Kit Carrington Jon Snow Season 2

Jon Snow, the illegitimate son of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell in the Game of Thrones is one of my favorite characters in all of the Seven Kingdoms.  During the finale of Season 4, I thought for sure they would kill him off but not only does he survive but he emerges as a leader. Since many of you won't know what I am talking about it, I will bring it to perfume.

Kit Carrington who plays the role of Jon Snow is the new face of Jimmy Choo For Men Cologne, the first men's fragrance for the London based company, which according to  WWD was described  as a  fragrance  for a "Mayfair Playboy"… very woody, with top notes of lavender, honeydew melon and mandarin essence; pineapple leaf and geranium at the heart for crispness, and a base of patchouli and amber-based wood harmonies". It will be launched in the U.K. on Aug. 11, then rolled out globally.  It is difficult for fans like me to seperate the actor from the character and even the idea of Jon wearing a scent with notes of honeydew melon and pineapple leaf makes me cringe. The first Jimmy Choo fragrance (2011) was quite good, so I will keep an open mind, but why not Tywin Lannister? He needs a new gig.

  • hah, I agree that the Jon Snow/pineapple leaf and melon connection makes one cringe. The list of notes is vaguely reminiscent of Aventus.

  • Michelyn. I assure you…Jon’ not going anywhere, anytime, soon! (No spoilers) I thought FLASH was excellent for Florida wear, it was my fave of the designer frags from 2013! 🙂

  • I think you should design a whole GoT line of scents! Of course, it would have to be quite heavy on the musk. Not a lot of showering going on in the seven kingdoms.

A confident, sensual man, who he is tough and still romantic? Jon Snow fits that bill. A “Mayfair Playboy”. Hmmm, Ygritte would have said the bunnies have to go.

i so want to watch Game of Thrones but have no HBO subscription…wish HBO and Netflix join hands but this is futile dream because both companies could not have hated each other more
