Johnny Depp Starring Role for Dior: New Men’s Fragrance and Fall Ad Campaign Sneak Peak

Johnny Depp, has a new role. It was announced that he is the new spokeperson for Parfums Dior; the ad campaign and new men's fragrance will launch in the Fall. This is his first fragrance endorsement and all that is revealed is that it is for a NEW men's fragrance   Do you think Johnny is a good fit for Dior (or will this be another Brad Pitt for Chanel no 5?).   I am such a fan girl (just google "images" for "Johnny Depp Perfume" and CaFleureBon pics are in the first two rows of photos). He also is a fan of fragrance and reportedly wanted to star in  the movie Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.  Smooth move  Francois Demachy,  Dior needs a spokeperson who wears guyliner.

    Guyliner! I love it. That term made me chuckle. I’m hoping this one will follow in the footsteps of Terre d’Hermes, Blue de Chanel and Dior Homme i.e sell by the truckload to keep shareholders happy but also provide a new perspective that is interesting to fragrance bloggers and their readers. The bar was set pretty low with the Pitt ad so I’m thinking Depp will take this one. I can’t wait to smell it!

    they should have signed him long ago, especially in place of Pattinson. Depp is speculated to have been a user of Dior Homme

    I think Johnny Depp will be a hit. I do remember reading stories that he is not fond of bathing. Perfume is a necessity then. 🙂 I saw him once at a distance when he was filming in my city. He looked slight, but very elegant.

    All women love him and men admire him and Dior found the right person for the role since he is handsome and elegant in his own unique way

    I think he suits the Dior aesthetic perfectly. It doesn’t hurt that he has such a wide appeal, with both the ladies and the fellas. I cannot wait to see/smell this.
