CaFleureBon Profiles in Perfumery: The Winner of the S.Poncet Draw

Profile: I recall my early teenage years, collecting perfume ads, miniature perfumes, and even trying to extract oil from the fragrant flowers in the yard. I remember my Aunt had a dresser filled with the most exquisite scents. Every time I had a chance to visit her, I was drawn to this dresser. Perfumery was my early love and I knew this was the industry I wanted to be part of. I started my career at Marilyn Miglin in Chicago.

The winner of the draw is Dawn, who won a  hand painted silk scarf, which was created by her friend California artist Katherine Betinis using the ancient method of Batik, and is made of silk chameuse, (one of 100 ever made) with hand rolled hems just like an Hermes carre (a $295 value) and a sample of her perfume Eau Eternelle.
