CaFleureBon Favorite Winter Fragrances: Part 1 + Perfume to Thaw Draw

Although the weather has been somewhat mild, the  winter blues is setting in. Flus, colds, and the desire to hibernate with a good book and a great scent is affecting all the ladies at CaFleureBon; curl up with our favorites and wrap yourself in a fluffy coat and waft to your hearts' content.

The calendar says winter’s here. At present, it’s frightfully wrong – a Halloween snow and  temps in the 50ºF range at mid-day. Cold treks to and from work call for something stalwart and, at the same time, reassuring. With that in mind, I offer you three of my perfect winter scarf  (and mitten) scents.

Parfumerie Generale 18 Cadjmere   Notes of myrtle branch, sap, red tangerine, rosewood, Kenyan cypress resin, coconut milk, sandalwood bark, ambrette seed, vanilla,  Apparently a love it or hate it scent – a lot of people remarks on the sweetness and that put me off for quite a while, but I finally took an unsniffed plunge. This is all about rosewood on me – opening that old jewelry box – the one that holds the jade earrings and the treasured carved ivory. There is a touch of sap at the opening to gently lead you in to a treasure trove of exotic woods. The coconut milk and vanilla that I dreaded smooth any rough edges from the sandalwood and leave me cocooned in a cloud of freshness and warm reassurance. Available at www.theperfumeshoppe.com

Ineke Field Notes from Paris  Notes of orange blossom, lemon and coriander, tobacco blossom, patchouli, cedar, tonka bean, benzoin and vanilla. Forget the notes on this one.  Yes, there’s orange blossom as a constant, but there’s also tobacco leaf (think good old just-cut Virginia), leather, and, hand to the almighty, lavender. You read correctly. Is it any wonder this is a ‘must-have-bottle-handy-at-all-times’ pick? Most reviewers seem to classify it as ‘masculine’ and I do see their point – it might be a tough one.  Tobacco and benzoin can be tricky little devils to deal with. Ineke went a bit afield with this one, but it was worth it. It always get compliments.  Wanna smell my neck? www.ineke.com

Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum – Notes of hawthorn blossom, Bulgarian rose absolute, precious woods, vanilla, Comores flowers, white almond, musk.Once I read it was inspired by the treat, well, I struck it from my short list. I tried it again a few months ago and am slowly coming around. It starts off vaguely spicy then adds rosewater to a not too sweet dollop of marzipan. Then I find a cherry note – like those cherry glycerin drops we used to use when we were children. It’s a little jarring. I mean, it’s not the candy. Or is it? Wait a little longer and a lovely soft slightly sweet, slightly floral powder develops. It skips in and out through the life of the wearing. It’s a lovely weekend around the house fragrance and kid friendly. Would I wear it to work? Still a little too sweet on me for that (But that’s chemistry for you!). If the usual array of ‘candy sweet’ and powder accords isn’t your thing, I urge you to give this one a whirl. Keiko’s journey might make you change your mind. www.keikomecheri.com

Nothing says winter festivities to me like Serge Lutens Arabie. The first Lutens to win my heart, it is redolent of stewed fruits and booze, with a comforting, golden glow that puts a smile on my face every time.

When I crave leather,  Mona Di Orio Les Nombres d’Or Cuir is at once cozy, deep, and smolderingly sensual.  Richly spiced. smoky leather on a bed of opoponax and castoreum, it is a winter knockout.

When the weather is particularly nasty, it is great to have the dark, thick aroma of Nasomatto Black Afgano wafting up from my scarf. This is one scent that shines in gruesome weather; the provocative and alluring hashish note never veers into head shop territory. www.luckyscent.com

Summer fruits in the barren winter? En Voyage Peche Noir delivers those heady aromas. Luxurious and deep with a lush fresh peach note, this delectable chypre is perfect on a crisp, clear day.

Yes, I'd rather be indoors wafting my favorite winter perfumes that wrap me in their scented cocoon.

Trompeur by Yosh Han If you translate the word Trompeur from the French it means Deceitful or Misleading. I have loved this fragrance since 2002 when I first discovered it under another name; it was named for JT LeRoy The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things. I have recently returned to its cozy gourmand embrace with its unusual composition of bay rum, massoia, fig ,and vanilla.  One tiny drop on my wrist lasts 24 hrs. When Yosh Han recently read my aura she was spot on when she told me that this earthy scent will keep me grounded. Good vibrations.

Elle by Xerjoff  The XJ/XJ 17 line by Xerjoff and Sergio Momo is the very definition of aspirational pricing. Yet, I am convinced  that you are getting the very best. Elle is all woman, there is no doubt  that it is the diamonds, pearls and stiletto heels of my fragrance wardrobe.Very sensuous with leather, floral and resinous notes of amber and patchouli. Why? Because I am worth it. Available at Luckyscent.com

Cuir Beluga by Guerlain   Yes that is Monica Bellucci smeared with caviar. There is no caviar nor can I detect any leather in this heavenly vanilla scent that is redolent of immortelle and heliotrope. My favorite in the L'Arte et La Matiere collection; Cuir Beluga has created more controversy among bloggers and critics than any other in the line. Some cannot detect the leather note, (it is there),  but for me it evokes cashmere, silk and suede. The longevity is above average (six hours) and is a fragrance that I reach for time and time again when I want to feel wrapped in luxury.

  • Loved reading what the Ladies favorite winter scents are. I got a sample of Mona Di Orio Les Nombres D’Or Amber when I purchased another of her scents. Would totally love to get this one to add to my Mona collection. All of those up for draw are awesome. Thanks to CafleureBon and the sponsors.

  • Mona di Orio D’Or Cuir is my favorite winter scent. You can’t wear this when it’s hot, I don’t think you should spray it either, I’ve decanted mine into a small splash bottle and dab. Sparingly. I love the smell of birch tar and fir essence and smokey leather. Wear too much though and people start sniffing the air and asking”is some thing on fire?” A wonderful scent when it’s cold but your feeling hot.

  • Scentual healing says:

I really enjoyed reading the ladies reviews
My favorite winter scents usually have vanilla so I would be happy to win loukoum, trompeur,Elle or cuir beluga
Thanks for an awesome draw and I love the art

  • After hearing the sad news of Mona di Orio’s passing, I would love to experience any of her scents (perhaps the Oud in particular), but would be ever so excited to try Les Nombres d’Or.

  • I really like reading this winter scent picks, here in LA our cold is a freezing 70F … for the most part of our so called winter. From the picks my favorite is Mona di Orio Cuir. Is a wonderful leather scent. Thanks again for another cool draw.

  • It’s chilly willy outside as my kids say! I have worn a few of the winter scents mentioned and they are delish! Field notes from Paris is wonderful.
I enjoyed all of the samples that YOSH sent to me. They were so gorgeous with flair and character.
I would love to try YOSH trompeur perfume oil. The longevity sounds amazing
And YOSH creates wonderful vibes in her perfumes. The more I read about her the more delightful she sounds.
I’d love to be your winner for trompeur perfume oil.
During winter I find oils are better on my skin and provide a warm scented layer of light
Thanks to Cafleurebon and also to the sponsors of this warm me in the cold draw:) right now it’s 31. Feels every bit of it too.

  • I love how we are drawn to specific scents in different seasons. I firmly believe, though i havent sniffed it yet, Parfumerie Generale 18 Cadjmere would be one of my favorite winter scents! lol I’ll have to find a sample before spring comes.
But out of the scents up for the draw, I think I’d really like to try Cuir Beluga and see what all the controversy is about. 

  • Its really funny you should ask, normally i crave heavier winter scents, this year has been different, since it really has been unseasonably warm this year, I live in Wisconsin and we normally have lots of snow by now so comfort scents is what i used to opt for. This year i am craving green and some leather fragrances. SSS Fig Tree has been one of my choice, also DSH Pandora and Verte pour Madame have been filling my needs these days. Miller Harris La Pluie and Kiehls Forest Rain seem to also be satisfying my cravings also. Normally i would have hit on Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum (one of my favorites), Guerlain Angeliques Noire, Montale Red Aoud, Montale Blue Amber and PG Mio Bjao. Also Mona di Orio Musc has been one of my favorites to go to, so i am very curious about the Cuir, Field Notes from Paris is a beautiful fragrance also and one i could see wearing frequently.

  • I love all Fridays 13th. My lucky days.
I tried all these fragrances and find all of them interesting for different reasons. Some are warm, some are spicy, some are smoky , some are different. All great for this season.
Mona di Orio Cuir would be my first choice but I know I am going to smell great wearing any of the others.

Thank you for this wonderful draw.

  • I love leather in the winter.
Both to wear, and in fragrance.

I have never tried Mona di Orio Les Nombres D’Or Cuir, nor have I tried Cuir Beluga, so those would be my choices should I be fortunate enough to win the draw.

Here are some other winter leather favorites in my fragrance wardrobe:
    Bandit, Habanita, KM Cuir Cordoba.

  • This is an easy choice. I don’t like very sweet, leather, tobacco, and eventhough I like sandalwood, when it’s prominate, I find it nauseating. No, I really love perfume and have smelled most. The only one I would wear, happily, Peche Noire. It’s on my “to buy” short list.

Ps, thanks for telling me I posted in the wrong place! 🙂

  • taffynfontana says:

All the scents mentioned are inticing for me the Serge Lutens Arabie is my all time winter favorite it is simply indescribable yet comforting all in one whiff.

  • Great selections! I have been reaching for my Ineke Field Notes quite often. I am suddenly on a gourmand kick and have enjoyed several Parfumerie Generale decants lately – Coze, Un Crime Exotique, and L’Ombre Fauve. I would love to win Cadjmere. Thanks for the drawing.

  • The first Yosh perfume to interest me was “The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things”, therefore I would like to try Trompeur on for size. Many of these sound worth checking out, thanks for highlighting them.

  • I really don’t differentiate between summer and winter scents, although I do find that cold winter air outdoors brings out notes that are much more subtle in the summer or indoors. I would love to try Mona di Orio’s Cuir or any of the other perfumes that are being offered in the draw.

  • With one exception (Sel Marin by James Heeley, if you’re curious) I don’t wear perfumes in the summer, so all my fragrances are wearable in the winter. Maybe my favourite one is Black Orchid by Tom Ford.
I would like to try Mona di Orio’s Cuir…

  • Ohhh, of course Mona di Orio, be me the lucky one :-). Friday the 13th is also my lucky day and the number 13 as such. Good luck to all!

  • Fun! None of these are among my current lineup of favorite winter fragrances. There are several here that I haven’t tried, however. I have a feeling that Field Notes from Paris and Cuir Beluga might suit me well.(P.S. Those white coats are quite, um, something!)

  • Loukoum is one of my winter favourites, as It reminds me of my trip to Istanbul: I loved the smell of almonds and cherries, vanilla and even coconut at the Turkish delight counter, so I bought a whole stash of them. When I was about to eat them though, I realized they were way too sweet, mushy and gummy. Wearing Keiko’s Loukhoum gets me the delight withought the guilt, so to say 🙂
Arabie and Cadjmere are also among my favourite comforting winter scents. I have no problem though wearing them in summer as well!

  • marcopietro says:

Mona di Orio D’Or Cuir is one of my favorite winter scent.
I love its comfortable smokey leather.
Field Notes from Paris sound very good to me and I’d like to try that.

  • I’ve recently tested Cuir beluga and loved it!
I would love to have that small sample…. Thanks for the draw!

  • Cadjmere is on my list of winter perfumes as well.
And MdO Cuir is something I’ve been wanting for quite some time – after sampling it, it went straight to my wishlist. 🙂
My knowledge of Keiko Mecheri perfumes is limited but of what I’ve tried, I liked them all, so Loukhoum sounds like a perfect winter fit (I just wish it were really a winter here, it’s still way too warm for this time of year)…

  • To be honest I have not tried any of them yet. Shame on me, I know! Taking a closer look at their notes, I think that Cuir from Mona would be the most appealing to me since I am a lover of animalic notes in every perfume.
    Thank you for the giveaway.

  • I have not tried most of these, but they all have appeal. I would love to win Keiko’s Loukhoum but I would feel quite lucky to receive any of these. Loukhoum reminds me a little of Luctor et Emergo (TPOL) which I adore, but I have to be in the right mood to wear it because it’s a big perfume on me. Loukhoum is a softer, quieter, prettier version on my skin. Two perfumes I only wear in winter are EL Private Collection and Clinique Aromatics. I’ve loved them both for 30 years, but they do have a presence. I find that cold weather takes the bite out of them, and gives them a softer edge. Thank you Cafleurebon, as always, for a magnificent draw. And as I’ve said before, I love these seasonal perfume picks articles.

  • I just adore Cuir by Mona Di Orio..but all the other winter scents seem lovely..
    Thanks for the draw

  • I have not tried Loukhoum, but I can make an idea about it, I think, if I am a lover of Serge Lutens’ Rahat Loukoum. I love these sweet perfumes that remind of you Turkey. They all got that oriental vibe which makes you think of the bazaars, of all those shops with all their smells. If I were to win I would like to win Keiko’s creation. Thanks!

  • just breathe says:

I have been wearing Field Notes from Paris since the fall and it is quickly becoming my signature scent (could wear it year round). I would love to try Loukoum as it would satisfy my sweet cravings when the weather gets cold. thanks for the draw!

  • This winter I have been wearing blended oils all over my body, which gently waft my skin in scent while providing much needed moisture. I have also been wearing many of the samples sent to my “best friend in perfume”.
My daughter wears Field Notes and I love the way it smells on her.
I have never tried any of Mona d O’s creations. Therefore, I would love to try MdO Cuir as I have heard nothing but great things about this talented perfumer who left us too soon!

  • Paul Matem. says:

I have not tried Elle by Xerjoff, nor Cuir by Mona. If I were to win I would like to get one of these 2 for I am sure my wife will be delighted by Elle, and if I were to win Cuir, then I will be the one delighted lol. Leather is a favourite note of mine in perfumes, therefore leather + cardamom and castoreum it can only result in a win.
Thank you for this marvelous give-away.

  • For really awful weather like a Snowpocalypse, I love Cadjmere, and I’m sadly running low on my last decant. The Afghano scent is amazing as well, I love the sesame note. And I’d love to try Mona’s Cuir, as her Oud is spellbinding.

  • I would love to win Keiko’s Loukhoum as I have been a fan of her perfumes a long time without actually owning a full bottle though. Thank you!!

  • I have only tried a couple of these scents, Field Notes From Paris & Loukhoum. The latter is a bit too sweet for me, and I don’t remember the former, but coriander/tobacco/benzoin sounds wonderful. I admire Ineke’s asthetic very much. My own winter warmers include SSS Winter Woods & DSH Inner Sanctum. Bring on the snow!

  • All these sound fantastic but regrettably I’ve only had the opportunity to try on – Field Notes From Paris. And it’s one that I enjoyed very much and quickly used up my sample over the winter months. Would love to be included in the draw!

  • Wonderful choice of winter favourites. Cuir Beluga is one I turn to a lot these days, but also SDV and Labdanum 18 are great ones for cuddle factor. However, sometimes for braving the world outside at this time of year, I do feel the need for a bit more Armour in my scent, and for this Mona’s Cuir would be amazing, soft and yet protective, yes of course I’d love to be in the draw for this. However, I see that this one seems to be the favourite of the draw, which feels unfair to all the other fab fragrances, so I must add, that, although I know nothing of Yosh Han’s Trompeur, it sounds beautiful and like something of a must try. Thank you for this great draw, and for sharing with us your most adored winter scents.

  • JAntoinette says:

The only one of these that I have tried is Field Notes from Paris; I agree that it is a tough one to categorize, but it is beautiful none the less! My own go to winter fragrance is usually Mitsouko, with the occasional spritz of Bois des Iles.

  • I love Cuir de Russie by Chanel Exc. in the winter so the Mona Di Orio Les Nombres d’Or Cuir sounds interesting.

  • I haven’t tried any of the winter perfumes you mentioned, but Nasomatto Black Afgano sounds right up my alley.
For the draw, the one which grabs my attention is Field notes from Paris, but any of them would be welcomed! 🙂

My favorite winter scents are ELDO Nombril Immense and Kenzo Amour Le Parfum.

  • I love Field Notes! You’re right, it works well in winter. I haven’t tried the Mona di Orio Cuir, but it sounds fantastic. What I’ve found myself using a lot of Lutens this winter: Chergui, Cuir Mauresque, Ambre Sultan. They make me feel warm despite the Maine winter.

  • I would love to try Ineke’s Field Notes from Paris. It sounds wonderful! I love scents that are out of the ordinary, so this one is right up my alley. That being said, Loukhoum is probably my go-to winter fragrance. I get compliments on it all the time.

  • Mona di Orio’s Cuir is exactly the fragance i’m wearing right now, the use of animalic notes in Nombres d’Or is wonderful!!

  • I love Mona di Orio Cuir and not only in winter time. I’d like to try any of these: Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum, Ineke Field Notes from Paris, Yosh Han’s Trompeur, Cuir Beluga.

  • it is neigh unbelievable to me, but i do not know *any* of the perfumes described — except luten’s arabie, which i love but cannot wear (due to contact dermatitis, alas.)

from reading the description, i’d love to try the ineke field notes from paris, the yosh han, mona di orio’s cuir and peche noir.

this winter i’ve been wearing pretty exclusively olympic orchid’s arizona (no surprise here, yes?) — and an oudh-and-musk-heavy mukhallat (areej no. 2) mixed by taha at agaraura.

  • I love Mona di Orio Cuir and Nasomatto Black Afgano all the time, but they are realy more suitable for cold weather.I would love to try the other scents but these are my two favourites among many others.
I also had the chance to try Areej from Agaraura and I think this might be the most beautiful and inspiring aroma ever.I still keep the empty vial of it and when I open nd sniff it it’s like bless nothing has touched me this way, exceptional!

  • I haven’t tried any of these, they all sound interesting, perhaps especially Mona di Orio Cuir (I love Oud and Vanille) or Cadjmere!

  • Alexandru Cotirla says:

I would love to try Mona’s Oud for I have not yet and from the reviews it seems something that is right up my alley. Thank you for the giveaway and have a great year ahead of you!

  • The only scents I have tried out of those mentioned are Field Notes and Peche Noir. Peche Noir as a cozy winter fragrance is genius – I have only worn it in warmer weather. I plan to wear that one for my SOTD tomorrow though! I have been desperately wanting to try the KM Loukhoum and Mona’s take on Cuir. *Crossing my fingers* to get lucky with this fabtastic draw! (Fabtastic was a typo, but I decided not to correct it.) 🙂

  • I’d love to try Cuir by Mona di Orio at winter time:) even I prefer Black Afgano at the summer.

  • Winter is the coziest time for fragrances! Even though the weather during the day hasn’t been particularly January-like lately, there’s still that chill in the air at night that begs for flannel pajamas & space heaters. Loukhoum is by far my favorite of these and I’ve wanted a full bottle of this since I tried it for the first time at Christmas 2010. It is so cozy and fluffy and perfectly powdery, and I do adore it. All the others sound amazing, too, and I’ve been wanting to try Les Nombres d’Or Cuir. Thanks so much for the generous draw!

  • They all sound FABULOUS! If I had to choose I guess it would be the Mona Di Orio Les Nombres D’Or Cuir.
    Thanks for this wonderful oppurtunity!

  • I love Black Afgano, but haven’t yet worn it in winter. Must remedy that, it’s got a sizzling quality that’s really warming. Out of these I’d love the MdO Cuir though… thank you for the draw!

  • Mona di Orio’s fragrances were destined to be Autumn/winter scents- or at least those I’ve tried…warm, sensual, spicy olfactory fantasies that always make even the most miserable wet, blustery day bearable- even pleasant cocooned in my own cloud of fabulousness. And Cuir is certainly one of her best

  • I so enjoy Field Notes on a chilly day, but what really intrigues me is Yosh Han’s Trompeur perfume oil (as well as her aura reading!). Thanks for the great draw!

  • Thanks for the reviews and the draw!
I have not tried all of these, but I have (and love!) samples of PG Cadjmere and Yosh The Heart etc. Actually wore cadjmere last week as I was going thru my first lot of samples–it definitely stays in the keeper box! Most PG scents work wonderfully with my skin chemistry and preferences.

Also love Cuir Beluga (very sueded heliotrope to me)–I had sprayed it on a fabric tag at a dept store and brought it home, where it lived on top of my lamp and gently scented my room for weeks. I have not tested it on skin more than once, but did enjoy it like that too.

I’ve sampled Arabie, and liked, but for the same vibe/feeling/whatever, I prefer Amouage Jubilation XXV (yay for decants!). I get a lot of stewed fruits simmering plus heavenly incense and a kind of musky base, and on me it’s much smoother. I think my skin amps cumin up to a million or something.

I am most drawn to Mona di Orio’s line, which I have never sniffed, and wanted to try it since first reading a review (at this blog, no less). This coming year I would like to acquaint myself with all her works, in honor of her memory. They sound both sublimely well-composed and also very much towards the warm, spicy, earthy end, which is very much my cup of tea.

Xerjoff is so outside my price range, and I used to avoid doomed-love scents out of the fear that I would pine for a FB, but now I think I can be quite happy with samples worn sparingly.
Really, I would be happy to win any of these!

  • I love and wear Arabie with great joy and I sampled and really liked Cuir Beluga ( so elegant)
Please, enter me this draw, thank you

  • I prefer winter time for perfume, because so many of my favourites are unbearable in the summer heat-thanks for this amazing draw, would love to win Elle by Xerjoff!

  • It’s hardly been winter here on the West Coast, but I do love the warmth of a good leather scent and am currently enjoying some PureDistance M. I’d especially love to win Mona Di Orio’s Cuir.
Even though I haven’t had a chance to sample any of her scents yet, I gasped when reading of her sudden, untimely death as it is so clear from reviews of her perfumes that she had great and growing talent.
I certainly wouldn’t refuse any of the other scents on offer in this draw. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • I guess Mona’s Cuir is the best for winter!
And her Oud – for summer. Just tried it in Bangkok – it was a perfect apricot leather, just like Platon’s Idea of Daim Blond of Lutens 🙂

  • Excellent choices, ladies!

You will read all about mine soon enough folks. *winks* Of all these wonderful perfumes listed above, two JUMP out at me:

INEKE’s Field Notes (I had no idea how interesting that one was) and MONA di ORIO’s “Les Nombres de Or” Cuir! *sighs* If it is anything like the Oud, Vanille or Vetyver were…

    *swoons*

I had assumed Cuir Beluga was all leather, and Xerjoff was just too expensive and pretentious to bother with (silly ME); thanks again girls for setting me straight (as it were). I recently had real “rahat loukhoum” for the first time: DELICIOUS!

    😉

  • I would like to try Cuir by Mona di Orio. My favourite for the winter season would be Jubilation XXV for it really smells like winter to me. Unfortunately, I only own a decant of it so I use it from time to time, when it is a special event that requiers such an exquisite perfume.

  • I haven’t tried any of these perfumes! but Guerlain Cuir Beluga sounds luxiurious, comforting and very delectable.

  • Thank you for this nice giveaway. I have not tried any of them but I would. Your description it really puts my mind at work and makes me think how they would smell.
If I were to win, I think Cuir from Mona would appeal to me best.

  • Definitely Idole de Lubin, especially now- in the new EdP version. Rhum, smoke, spices, so warming combo for winter!

  • Mona Di Orio Les Nombres D’Or Cuir sounds like perfect scent for colder days! I adore rose-amber scents for winter, especially Mille et Une Rose by Lancome. Thank you for the draw!

  • I think the best choise of me is Mona di Orio!Never try,but look to be the sun of my passion

  • Haven’t tried any but I would definetly like to try Mona di Orio. I think it suits me perfectly.

  • Draw of the seven veils, oh sorry, I mean, Seven Winter coats! 🙂
This is a fabulous draw, I’d love Field Notes from Paris should I win! I love the way it invokes sunny weather.

My favorite Winter fragrances are Tolu (never fails to keep me warm) and Yvresse (I do love it year around but I try not to wear it in hot weather). Another great Winter loves for me are honeyed florals — Poeme and L’Instant de Guerlain.

  • I am in lilting love with Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum. I was given one as a gift, and I can’t get enough of it.

  • Oh, these choices are very difficult! I have never tried Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum, but I do love her Ume. Loukhoum sounds so delicious, so I would pick that one if I had my druthers.

  • Thanks for the giveaway. I would like to participate too for Cuir from Mona.
From these fragrances I have not tried any, I aint such a connoisseur because I can not find them where I live I suppose. Nevertheless, it will be a great discover to smell Mona’s Cuir. Thanks

  • Out of all of those I’ve only tried the Ineke and loved it. I burned through my sample at lightning speed. I’ve long considered getting a full bottle. The Mona di Orio sounds amazing too. I would love to try more of her creations. I bought blind decants of two of her other scents that didn’t really work for me but I still hope to find “the one”. I really need to explore all these more. I’m usually more hesitant to try comfort scents since I’m such a floral gal. 😉

  • Another person putting his hopes in Cuir from Mona. Good luck everyone and many thanks for this wonderful giveaway.

  • hope ‘i’m elilgeble for this draw. i’ve never tried any of them,so ‘i’d be thrilled to win any of them. thank you for offering this competition.

  • I love Black Afgano because it is so mischievious on me. Every time I wear it I discover new effects as it reacts with my skin. I would love to try Mona di Orio Cuir as I have sampled other perfumes from the line and found them all great (esspecialy Oud).

  • I do love Envoyage Peche Noir!! Field notes was quite a surprise and lovely!
All these other choices are new to me and I’d love to be
    acquainted 😉

  • I’ve only tried a few of the listed fragrances, but I have a lot on my to try list now. I love KM Loukoum and the PG Cadjmere a lot, and they are perfect comfort scents for me.

    Thanks!

  • This is a hard choice. They are all so worthy. I have been wanting to try Peche Noir, so I will have that, please, when you choose me. 😉

  • I have never tried any of the listed scents, but ive always been a sucker for anything from Yves Saint Laurent
