Dear Michelyn and CaFleureBon,

Happy First Birthday!!!

I absolutely love love love your scented salon, for me it's more than a blog!  Between the reviews, interviews and articles it’s like my daily cup of tea.

I want to say a special thank you Michelyn for encouraging me to release my personal scent "Orange Blossom & Green Tea", which we are including it as part of our soon to be released (April) Les Bohemes Collection… ( uses a very high percetage of natural oils), so one of your readers will be the first to own it.  Michelyn, we have had the voodoo from her first review back in the day, so can you feature our song "I put a spell on you," for me?  I had that playing in the background when I created our JITTERBUG PERFUME, and somehow you knew!

Cheers to everyone at CaFleureBon, wishing you continued success in the years to come!  For your draw Opus Oils would like to contribute a bottle of GIGGLE WATER Eau de Parfum.

XOXO,

Kedra Hart

  • I would love to try the Opus Oils Giggle Water! Or any of them, actually.
I haven't been reading the blog that long! On looking around, though, I am very very intrigued by the SIP Temple of Musk. Musk is a difficult note for me, sometimes I can't smell it well. So, this one goes on my list of perfumes to try so I can break the code and find a musk that works.

Wow, this is a fantastic draw! I would love to be entered for the Liz Zorn perfume, as the interview with her (Liz Zorn Unplugged) and the Best of 2010 were my favorites mentioning her. Thanks to the perfumers for offering these goodies!

  •  would like to enter for Liz Zorn's Harbinger. i remember the article on you getting her new perfumes in the mail and describing the treasures… i haven't had a chance to try any of the line but i'm very much hoping to!

  • Green faries….vampires…..so intriguing  are these articles and the ingredients sound delish.   Please enter me for the Opus Oils bottle of GIGGLE WARER.   Thank you.

  • I would love to win the exciting new scent," Orange blossom and Green tea".It sounds wonderful…please enter my name in the draw……my favorite article is ms. camen’s orange blossom everything must change

  • taffynfontana says:

I'm in a very prim and proper mood Penhaglion's Blue Bell is my choice and my favorite article was Liz Zorn unplugged I loved your in depth article about this strong independent and creative woman.

  • I enjoyed Meerschaum by Soivohle: Elementary my Dear Liz Zorn, possibly because I really, really want to try that fragrance! As for the draw, I'll be consistent. I would love to try Soivohle Harbinger.

  • When I got a sample of Liz Zorn's Meersshaum, I was totally under a spell! My wrist was stuck to my nose as I tried to guide my silly mom-taxi mini-van around a corner on the way to pick up the kids…So I loved the article on Meershaum! But any article on what Liz Zorn is up to is great too! I'd love to win some of her newest, Harbinger! Huge fan!
Meerschaum by Soivohle: Elementary, My Dear Liz Zorn

  • All four of these perfumes come from great houses. Each one has a great story and fantastic scents. Since I have to choose one of these great scents I'd chose Pehalgions Blue Bell perfume. I love romantic stories from yester years. I find a perfume that transforms you into a different time where life moved slower and there is romance in the air; is wonderful.

  • I'd choose Bluebell for springy woodland flowers. Mark Behnke’s article on orange blossom sticks out because I was just getting curious about that note when it popped up.

  • I have been so curious about Liz Zorn's fragrances and loved your article about her perfumes.  I would love to try Harbinger.  Thank you.

  • Your article " Meerschaum : Elementary My Dear Liz " sent me running for a sample , and indeed put a spell on me…I would love to win a bottle of harbinger !
thank you for celebrating your birthday with us , CaFleureBon !!

  • I enjoyed Ida's article about Soivohle's Waterflower.  Real mysore sandalwood?! Be still my heart.

I'd choose Harbinger, although it was hard NOT to choose Giggle Water, Blue Bell and Sun & Flowers. They all sound great and it's awesome these folks are celebrating with CaFleureBon!  Let the party continue!

  • I enjoyed the review of Rose of Cimarron – I love the idea of creating a perfume after a historical figure- , and would love to receive the latest perfume from Belly Flower – Sun & Flowers.

  • I enjoyed the "Singing in the Rain" post.  Spring in my hood means lots of rain and gray skies…but the promise of warmer days keeps us going. – I would love the Bluebell by Penhaligon's…an all time favorite and mile marker perfume for me.

  • Definitely 'Jane Eyre and Bluebell"…I adore 'Jane Eyre'…one of the most sublime novels of all time…and I think I've seen every movie version of it as well!! I also adore 'Bluebell'-  so quintessentially bucolic and English (yes, I am an unapologetic Anglophile!!)…If I win, I plan on rereading 'Jane' for the umpteenth time while wearing Bluebell- heaven!!!

  • The spell was brought by Meerschaum : Elementary My Dear Liz. Harbinger is an interesting fragrance.
    My pick:   Blue Bell.

  • Ccc and I think alike – I was also intrigued by the Meerschaum by Soivohle post.  I'm a sucker for tobacco and leather scents.  However, if I win my choice goes in the opposite direction, to a floral – Penhaligon's Bluebell!

  • What a treat it is to read about these creations!  I was already under Liz Zorn's spell, having tried her Tobacco and Tulle and Oudh Lacquer.  But the Rose of Cimarron post cast it's spell, too, and I'd love to try a Bellyflowers creation.  Please enter me for Sunflowers.
Thank you for the drawing!  And for your blog.  Happy birthday!

  • Z. Boudreaux says:

As I am partial to all natural perfumes I've chosen to enter the draw for the 10 mls of Sun & Flowers parfum by Elise Pearlstine of Bellyflowers Perfume. I have still yet to try her Rose of Cimarron perfume from the Outlaw Perfume project but rereading Monica "Skye" Miller's review for it put it on the top of my shopping list (again). Oh so much perfume so little money!

  • I enjoyed the article "The Absinthe Collection by Opus Oils – La Fee Verte". It reminded me the days I spent in Prague, where I tried absinthe for the first time.
And for the draw, I would love to try any of them, especially Opus Oils Giggle Water (I adore orange blossom). It was a difficult decision because I admire Liz Zorn and Harbinger must be so good…

  • I enjoyed to read Meerschaum : Elementary My Dear Liz. Since then I have been hooked on trying it. Unfortunately she doesnt ship to europe 🙁  I would like to be entered for her Harbinger.

  • Michelle Nelson says:

*breathing in deeply* Vampira Moon Garden – Opus Oils Poetic Preview. I would love to enter for Opus Oils. I met and fell in love with Opus Oils at the Bat’s Day vendor hall last year. I can hardly wait for May. The bottles, the caskets, the scents of aromatic ambrosia. One can easily lose themselves in any of the fragrant oils Kendra brews.

  • Decisions, decisions.  Even after checking out the websites of each perfume house, I stil found it hard to decide because they all sounded so lovely and there was some serious bottle love going on too. But in the end, spring is calling and I've chosen Bellyflowers Sun & Flowers as the scent with the notes I'm looking for at the moment.
As for the article about one of these companies that caught my attention: I love Mark's reviews and his exploration of Soivohle's Meerschaum, "Elementary, My Dear Liz Zorn" was a delight.

  • Oh My goodness! This drawing is fantastic! I am pining away over the Opus Oils Giggle Water, I love OPus Oils and I poured over every word of the Boardwalk Empire post. It is exactly what I love! Keeping my fingers X'ed
    Thank you!

Although the sun is shining and the new blossoms are opening, I was smitten with Mark's article "Elementary, My Dear Liz Zorn"Meerschaum sounds like something to snuggle up with. It has nothing to do with my new puppy being christened (Dr.) Watson 😉 Ida's timely article on Harbinger has me wanting to try a more springlike scent from Ms. Zorn. Harbinger it is.

  • Oh, I have hesitated and hesitated to enter because I have won a beautiful prize, but I have to try for a bottle of Bluebell.
One of the articles that put a spell on me was the one from 2/12, a review from Mark, which likened Mathilde Laurent fragrances to a symphony.  I loved the way he put together two passions I have in my life — perfume and classical music.  This article featured Liz Zorn's Oudh Lacquer as one of Mark's favorite perfumes.  This article not only put a spell on me, it significantly added to my thinking about perfume in ways I cannot appreciate fully as of yet.
Another infectiously happy one was I'm Walking on Sunshine by Ida.  Everything about this article puts me in a great mood!
Interesting, I am choosing Bluebell, but the articles that impressed me most are about Soivohle 🙂

  • How wonderful to have so many great perfume houses to choose from.  I believe the one that enchants me the most is Bellyflowers Spring.  I love natural perfumes and have not tried her perfumes.   Post that intregued me was about the outlaw perfumes Rose of Cimarron of belly flowers.

  • I would LOVE Penhaligon's Bluebell, and the Jane Eyre article is, of course, my favorite. Thanks CaFleureBon!
