Best Operas (July Spilled Perfume 2018) + 8 Perfume as Opera Prizes

Theatre collage by Jasia Julia Nielson©: Opera Garnier Paris, costume design by Umberto Brunelleschi, an illustration by Hans Henning Voigt, Japanese woodblock print artist uncredited.

In 2016, former Contributor Jasia Julia Nielson won a Perfumed Plume (Visualization of Scent ) for the beautiful montage art she created for her article Perfume as Opera. To turn to the Opera for inspiration for a perfume is by no means new. Jacques Guerlain created Liu, which was inspired by the slave girl in Puccini’s Turandot, in 1929”, she wrote.  Some of us love Opera, and in fact  a few of our team have participated or sung in operas; some of us rather listen to R & B. Match our CaFleureBon team with what we think is one of the best operas of all time and win last month’s spilled perfume.

Opera singing is bad for my ears, but the full performance (including sceno&costumes) sometimes could be quite pleasant to watch. Eugene Onegin by Pyotr Tchaikovsky is probably my most favorite one. Or Pikovaya Dama/The Queen of Spades from the same composer.

My choice for the prizes are:
    – YeYe Equus No 8
    – Map of the Heart Pink Heart v.6
    – Nishane B-612
    – Meo Fusciuni Little Song
    – Shay and Blue Kings Wood

Thank you for the another chance!
    I live in the EU.

i’d love to have Nishane B-612 — or otherwise anything (since i don’t know any of the scents and i like surprises 🙂

one opera not mentioned that i love a lot is puccini’s suor angelica — monserrat caballe’s senza mamma is transcendent.

i live in the us 🙂
