AMERICAN PERFUMER®, representing 30 American Perfumers and their brands, has opened in Louisville, Kentucky. The first shop of its kind in the United States, AMERICAN PERFUMER® will offer a retail experience devoted to the work of American artisan perfumers. “Free of big branding, marketing campaigns and focus groups, American Perfumers are challenging to be the best in the world.”, says David Kern, co-founder. He adds, “In the spirit of the first craft brewers, the pioneering winemakers in Napa and the avant-garde chefs and artists dominating today’s discussions on innovation, American Perfumers are shaking off the old and taking the lead in ushering in the new.”
